I'll take this bump to say how the most humorous aspect of this thread has been the people who eithe took the OP idea seriously and expanded it or took it seriously and proceeded to bash it.

As ridiculously phrased as the OP is, I think it is largely correct. Humanity is its own worst enemy. As the Romans said, lupus est homo homini, although I think this perhaps being a bit hard on Canis lupus. The truth is, as we are in a period of unprecedented mass-extinction and biodiversity loss, humanity is the worst enemy of most life on this planet.

It does not have to be this way, but this is how it is.

Perhaps. Personally, I try to make serious threads. I think I've made two satire threads.
