HISTORY

Paladin Cinema's was founded in 1986 by entrepreneur and movie fan Joshua Stone, and was an early pioneer in the mainstreaming of cinema. The first Paladin Cinema opened its doors in the upperclass suburb of Haxe, Saint Martin and was an instant success; within a decade Paladin Cinema's had opened in every town and city in Kingborough, and was the largest provider of the cinema experience in Kingborough. In 1999 Paladin shortly opened to international expansion, opening cinemas in Canary and Nutmeg before stalling the expansion program with an economic downturn in Kingborough. However Paladin has always forged ahead, and in 2004 opened the largest cinema screen in Nysa. Since then Paladin has cemented itself as an icon of the country, weathering the rise of the DVD by implementing new technologies - being the first cinema in Nysa to play 3D films and pioneering the arcade game sector with early motion sensitive gaming systems in its arcades. Today Paladin is a nationally recognised brand name and one of the countries largest companies.

Unfortunately due to financial issues the company was about to declare bankruptcy in early 2013, but Mike Mallarhyde of Mike’s Monkey House negotiated purchase in exchange for paying off the debt and retaining staff. Under new ownership, Mike Mallarhyde has promised that Paladin Cinemas will remain a joy to people around the world, providing entertainment, laughter, excitement and thrills.

CORPORATE

Paladin Cinema's was a privately owned company with equal ownership split between Marianne Coleburne and Archduchess Edana I of Kingborough, who purchased the company from the estate of Mr. Joshua Stone in 2009.
Paladin is run on behalf of its owners by a board of management which consists of four members – presently made up of Mike Mallarhyde of Mike’s Monkey House, Count Thomas Lalery, Mr. Daniel Shimei, and Colonel Solomon Cain, the Minister of Culture. The incumbent Chief Executive Officer of Paladin is John Craft, of Kinborough, an experienced movie producer who until 2010 ran Master Theater; John Craft was made CEO upon the merger of his company with Paladin Cinema's. Corporate HQ is now in Fineberg in New Edom.

Social and Environmental Responsibility

Paladin Cinemas is ecologically conscious, which is why all paper or plastic products are recyclable and are separated and shipped to recycling plants either in nations which have suitable ones or to the Schultaria Prime built separation facilities in New Edomite locations. It is encouraged that renewable energy sources be used to provide power to our cinemas so that they do not increase greenhouse emissions or other forms of pollution, and are not a drain on a city's power grid.

In addition to this, Paladin Cinemas will gladly work with local hiring and job search programs to provide exciting careers in local businesses and on the corporate level. Talent searching and job availability are done on a meritocratic basis, enabling the enterprising employee to rise based on their talents and dedication to their job.

Plot Summary: Puppet Boy is a wooden marionette (a puppet that is manipulated with wires) and not a hand puppet (directly controlled from inside by the puppeteer's hand). It is made from a magic piece of wood found by a poor carpenter named Yellow Wig. But the piece of wood from which he is derived is animated, and so Puppet Boy moves independently. Basically good, he often gets carried away by bad company and is prone to lying. His nose will become longer and longer once he starts lying to others] Because of these characteristics he often finds himself in trouble. The Talking Cricket, which has lived in Yellowig 's house for over a century, makes his first appearance after Puppet Boy is mischief has landed his creator Yellowig in prison, and insists that Puppet Boy must either attend school or work, to function properly in the world. When Puppet Boy refuses to listen, the Cricket states, "You are a puppet and what's worse is that you have a head of wood", whereupon Puppet Boy throws a mallet at the cricket, killing him.

Later, the Talking Cricket appears as a ghost to Puppet Boy, telling him to return home rather than keep an appointment with the Fox and the Cat. Puppet Boy refuses and later he is subsequently injured when the Fox and Cat try to murder him for his money. The Talking Cricket reappears with his friends, the Crow and the Owl, and he tend to Puppet Boy's injuries

Puppet Boy promises The Fairy with Purple Hair to become a real boy, flees with Candlestick to the Land of Fun, becomes a donkey, joins a circus, and becomes a puppet again. In the last chapter, out of the mouth of The Awful Fish (a giant fish) with Yellowig, Puppet Boy finally stops being a puppet and becomes a real boy (thanks to the intervention of the Fairy in a dream).

Plot Summary: A reboot of a series that became Nifon's cinematic legend; 52th movie featuring the King of the Monsters since his first appearance in 1950. Though the character already appeared in Sonjo monogatari; it was till 1950s when he was moved into the modern times.

The city of Rokuhara, 2020 after the birth of our savior. The peaceful calm of the morning is disrupted by a wave coming from the sea. The terrified citizens flee to their shelters, thinking that a tsunami is coming - yet their nightmare only begins. From the sea emerges Soryu, creature of Nifonese legends that once fought for Lord Murakami, and lies devastation to the city. Hastily organized response of the Imperial Nifonese Army can not stop the creature's reign of terror - yet it's actions appear directed. While tearing through the city, it appears to be headed for building of Yamada Industries Ltd, before leveling it with the ground. Satisfied, the dragon retreats back into the sea.

Princess Haruko, a minor scion of the Nifonese Imperial Clan, is in that day in Rokuhara. Determined to stop the creature's further attacks and annoyed by the government's unwillingness to pursue the creature, she attempts to seek answers at the building that appeared to be at the center of monster's attack. However, the entire area had been quarantined by security services of Yamada Corporation; prompting the Princess to hire Sataka Ryosei, a former Nifonese Tenshinhei officer and his minor PMC, Fūrinkazan Solutions, to infiltrate the area and investigate. Ryosei sneaks in and finds that members of Yamada Corporation are, in fact, transporting DNA samples that survived the attack.

At this point, the two split up. The Princess and Ryosei's lieutenant, Matsunaga Kensuke, head to ancient library in Nifon to study all the material they can collect on Soryu; while Sataka Ryosei and his unit pursues the transports. Member of the Nifonese imperial clan learns from Sonjo Monogatari that Soryu fought on the side of Lord Murakami during the Sonjo War and slew an evil dragon named Leviathan on said lord's orders during a major sea battle. She also learns that the dragon can be communicated with using a "mirror matrix" - an ancient device created by King Solomon that was brought to Nifon via Hata clan. The device can only be operated by someone from bloodline of Soryu Arashi, which the princess discovers after a long search that she is.

Meanwhile Sataka locates the destination of the DNA cells; a deep underground military base located on a an island privately owned by Yamada Corporation, known as Akumajima. He manages to infiltrate the base discovering it's various secrets (such as giant skeleton of a dragon and a giant tank where a new one is sleeping), but is captured in process. Brought in front of said corporation's CEO, Yamada Yoriie, the mercenary learns true intention of the CEO; his goal is to clone the Leviathan and use it to topple the Shogun and assume power in Nifon itself. Once in power, he is going to accelerate the evolution of humankind through transhumanism until "not just gender and identity, but the very human species will be determined by nothing else than individual's will". Ryosei is imprisoned and about to be executed; but timely intervention of princess and her contingent manage to save him.

The team now heads to ancestral family castle of Soryu clan to recover the mirror matrix, which they do after facing many traps. Meanwhile Soryu once again merges from the ocean and this time launches himself to attack Yamada Corporation's main HQ in Ishikawa. On Akumajima, Yamada Yoriie smiles and orders his mercenaries to prevent the princess from contacting Soryu while he prepares Leviathan II for deployment.

The princess attempts to reach Soryu through a previously evacuated district, but are obstructed by Yamada's mercenaries. As the dragon stops to watch the impending battle, Satake Ryosei sacrifices himself to let Haruko get into a proper distance with the dragon, which after seeing brave mercenary's death, himself heads towards her. Contact is established, and Haruko is surprised to learn that the dragon is actually sentient.

Soryu's past is revealed. He was born during a gap between Genesis 1;1 and 1;2 and before Adam was created; at that time Earth being dominated by reptiles led by the "Cherub that Covereth", which would later become known as Satan, and was associated with the reptiles. When Satan and his children rebelled against God, Soryu was the only one who refused to follow the devil, preferring to remain loyal to his creator. Due to his loyalty, he was granted ability to breath underwater and swim, which permitted him to survive first the flood caused by destruction of planet Rahab, then subsequent flood of Noah. He achieved his longevity by millennia long periods of hibernation. Last time he walked on land was during the days of Lord Murakami; but the dragon became disenfranchised with humanity after Murakami's murder in Akechi Churh. Loosing his faith, he went to sleep for millennia; but was disturbed by Yamada's expedition to steal remains of Leviathan, his enemy of old, whom Soryu reveals to have been "forged out of Satan's own DNA".

Princess Haruko reprimands the dragon. She explains that while it's true that humanity lost all it's goodness in the fall, without it neither would the redemptive work of the cross be possible; which, after all, led to greatest glorification of the Lord of Heaven. She even explains that purpose why the Lord of Heaven let mankind have this nature is for it to come to greater understanding of him through being forced to face their own problems with his help. Thus, by being angry at humans for their transgressions, Soryu is trespassing the divine order. Upon being reminded of his own loyalty, the dragon falls into sadness and expresses regret; just at the moment when Yamada deploys Leviathan II into Ishikawa Bay.

Leviathan rises out of a specialized seaplane... and subsequently kills Yamada, upon which Soryu comments to Haruko that "evil can't be controlled nor reasoned with". A battle of titanic proportions ensues between two kaiju in Ishikawa Bay; although heavily wounded, Soryu finally chews through his foe's thick scales and burns his insides with his plasma breath. Leviathan II falls and is subsequently destroyed to prevent any demonic DNA from being available to anyone.

Full of sadness for his rash and foolish actions, Soryu swears to defend the Land of the Blazing Sun till end of times or until the Nifonese turn against the Lord of Heaven. After having made his promise, he returns to the sea; as Princess Haruko looks into the sunset.

Behind the scenes, Yamada's communist masters assemble for a conversation. They declare that while Yamada failed in his task and awakened the terrifying guardian of Nifon, they will find a way around; camera is set on a giant tube where an octopus like creature is kept.

Plot Summary: Taking place somewhere in southeastern Yongjia in the year 1032, the film centers around Tansun, a young but highly-skilled Tongyehanke warrior who is a wuzhakete in the Yaxun Army. One day, Tansun and his tongtengshen of a hundred troops are on an expedition to search for an abandoned shangjialata named The Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation, which is said to house an ancient relic simply known as the "The Miracle of Triumphant Intent". While travelling through a forest, Tansun and his men are ambushed by a group of twenty zulunshimus, large, brutish, repulsive man-like creatures known for their incredible strength and stamina. With all of his men killed, a critically injured Tansun tries making a last stand against the aggressive creatures, however he is stabbed to death and his corpse left laying on the ground. A young nomadic sorceress walks into the woods to look for flowers and mushrooms for her potions only to discover the body of the slain warrior. She quickly rushes to the dead warrior, takes the body back to her tent, and begins resurrecting him using mystical arts of sorcery. Meanwhile, in the Land of Stars, Tansun's Wind Dragon (soul) wanders around until he stops in front of a giant, intimidating figure in full body armor and surrounded by fire. The imposing figure, who is in fact Kekang Shendahe the God of Law and Order, Vengeance, Retribution, and Judgement, the Immortal Guardian of Justice, tells Tansun that he must destroy the Miracle of Triumphant Intent before a "corrupted man touches it and unleashes a dark age of misery and torment for all of eternity". Before Tansun could ask any questions, Kekang Shendahe zaps him with immense pain to the point that he finally wakes up in his corporeal physical body. As Tansun finally awakens in his mortal body, he asks the sorceress who she is, to which she tells him that her name is Yuna and that she is simply a "wandering nomad with knowledge on sorcery". Tansun began asking Yuna about the Miracle of Triumphant Intent and how to get to the Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation, and while the sorceress said she doesn't much about the mysterious relic, she did however know where the abandoned shangjialata was. Yuna then gives Tansun a mystical peculiar-looking Long War Ayanjiamujuela called the Ascendant Penance of Pitiless Compunction, to which the warrior asked where she got it from, with Yuna replying that the weapon was from a deceased swordsman who received it from a highly-skilled swordsmith.

Tansun and Yuna go off into a journey to find the unknown mystical relic, but before they get to the Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation, Yuna tells Tansun that they must find any nearby village and rest before continuing on with the journey. When Tansun asks her where the nearest village was, she replied that it was far away. As they continue on, the two are suddenly stopped by a large, ferocious zulunhamu. While Yuna grabs out her ayankezhanyanggu and begins firing at the aggressive beast, Tansun swings the Ascendant Penance of Pitiless Compunction towards the zulunhamu, and much to the surprise of Yuna and even Tansun himself, not only did he manage to slice off the beast's right hand but somehow he was able to swing the massive sword with ease. With the zulunhamu now enraged with pain, Tansun finishes the job by thrusting the weapon into the creature's abdomen before slicing its head off. When Yuna asked Tansun where he got the enhanced strength from despite only using resurrection magic on him, Tansun replied that he must have received it after being zapped by Kekang Shendahe.

As the two continued on their journey, fighting against gangs of raiders, undead walkers, and even a pack of three vicious zulundahes, Tansun and Yuna finally arrive at the nearest village, however the two are surprised when they discover that the village is inhabited by short human-like beings called zulunketus. While Yuna rests and heals her injuries from fighting, Tansun goes around asking the local zulunketus if they know anything about the Miracle of Triumphant Intent and the Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation, however each time he mentioned the two names the zulunketus would freeze in fear. Luckily, one zulunketu directed Tansun to a tree, however as the warrior arrived in front of said tree he finds out that there is a man whose body has somewhat morphed with the body of the tree. The said man greeted Tansun and says that his name is Airong, and when Tansun asked who he is and why he's imprisoned on a tree, Airong replies that he's only a knowledge-seeker who one day was blessed by Kekang Yena, the God of Music, Arts, and Knowledge, Immortal Guardian of Wisdom, with knowledge and intellect beyond his original capacity, and as a result many came to him for wisdom, counseling and knowledge. However, Airong brings up that twelve years ago a ruthless mulutengshenlayu by the name of Ataren The Terrible, a demi-god who was the result of a "whore falling in love with the God of Suffering and Torment and Ruler of the Land of Suffering (Hasa Keyong)", went up to him and asked where the location of the Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation was, however knowing the true destructive power of the Miracle of Triumphant Intent, he did not tell Ataren the location, and as a result Ataren had him bound to a tree as punishment. When Tansun asked Airong who Ataren The Terrible was and why he wanted to know the location of the Miracle of Triumphant Intent, Airong told Tansun that Ataren wanted to activate the relic and unleash torment and misery across the world in order to allow his father to enslave all humans for the rest of eternity. Airong also mentions that Ataren and his Mulutengshen of the Nine Black Stars are already on their way to the Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation and that Ataren dispatched his men to hunt down and kill Tansun. As the sun starts to set, Airong tells Tansun to cut his head off from his tree-bound body and have him resurrected. As a result Tansun swings the Ascendant Penance of Pitiless Compunction and slices Airong's head off, before heading back to Yuna to have him resurrected. Just as Tansun arrived back, Yuna grabs Airong's lifeless head and asked Tansun what is he doing, but when Tansun told her about Airong and Ataren The Terrible, Yuna simply replied "I already know all that" before dipping Airong into a cauldron of mystical potion and resurrecting him. As Airong wakes up he greets Yuna with a hello before Yuna spits at his face. Tansun asks why they both know each other, to which Yuna starts confessing. She tells Tansun that both her and Ataren are fraternal twins and at one point she assisted her ruthless brother and her brother's mulutengshen before running away after being disenfranchised with Ataren's violent behavior, disregard for human life, and insatiable thirst for power and blood. When Tansun asked her why he should trust her in the first place, Yuna tells him that she simply wants to destroy the relic and kill her brother in order to spare mankind from the cruelty of darkness. She also told Tansun that the swordsman who owned the Ascendant Penance of Pitiless Compunction was in fact her lover and at one point the swordsman was in a battle against Ataren, however Yuna tells Tansun that when she arrived at the place her brother and the swordsman where fighting, the only thing she found was the mystical sword along with a pile of ashes.

The next day, Tansun and Yuna, along with Airong who was attached to Tansun's belt, continued on with their journey. As they arrived at an open valley, the two faced off against a patrol of heavily-armored cavalry warriors from the Mulutengshen of the Nine Black Stars. After defeating them, Tansun and Yuna continued on before being attacked by more zulunshimus. Once the group of zulunshimus have been slain, Tansun and Yuna continue on until they stopped by a burnt-down village. As the two walked around and investigated, a large ferocious zulibuta appears and begins emitting electric discharge out of its mouth while fourteen large stone zuluntasuns start charging towards them. While Yuna handles the stone zuluntasuns, Tansun takes on the zulibuta. After an intense battle, Tansun finally slays the beast after managing to grab on and pull out one of the zulibuta's sharp teeth and uses the tooth to impale the neck of the beast. With the zulibuta slain, Tansun kills the remaining stone zuluntasuns before rushing to a critically-injured Yuna who was lying on the ground bleeding. As Tansun tries to help Yuna, the sorceress gives him a scroll containing a map to the Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation and tells him to destroy the Miracle of Triumphant Intent and kill Ataren The Terrible once and for all. In her last breath before death, Yuna tells Airong to "guide Tansun into the Light of Enlightenment".

With Yuna dead, Tansun continues on with Airong. The warrior asks the head if there will be assistance in taking down Ataren, with Airong replying that they will always meet new people along the way to the Black Fortress of Sublime Reconciliation.

Plot Summary: Maria Schuerbach was so involved in the politics of her country, mostly branding her cause in favor of equal rights, redistribution of wealth and other social issues address by her Liberal Democrats Party in the overseas state of East Stephania, and seemingly like a normal center-leftwing partisan for the most part of her life until it changed when one of the programs she attended to about religious freedom was also attended by a Satanist, whom she had became fascinated with. Since then, she became more active to pursue her political goals while in college until she turned violent and harmful to her family, to a point that she was chained in her bed for a week. She had been seen eating broken glass, scarring herself, and been vomiting insects and metal objects. Later on, the local priest concluded that she was possessed by the Devil because of her beliefs that she took in spirit, and an exorcism must take place. Exorcism rites were performed for her, but to no effect, her health declined further and even medications are not responding within her. She then had a vision of a cloudy, bright place, and a man standing outside a golden gate, asking her why she was there. She was then pointed to her current condition, her past memories and activities up to the point of her fascination with the Satanist in pursuit of her beliefs. She then cried and wished to be returned to her body, but the man was reluctant so he walked her through Hell. Seeing that famous peoples and personalities in Hell, she insisted going to Heaven, but the man said she will be judged by God Himself and her memories shall be judged according to His Laws. The man then introduced Maria to Jesus, seated on the throne, asking her questions about her life. She then cried for the shame she had brought herself and the sins she committed. Jesus then judged her to be sent to Hell because of her conscious choice to be in such way she is now ashamed of. The movie ends with Maria's body on earth decomposing so quickly that an immediate burial is needed, that her family needed to burn all her stuff away, and Maria seen in Hell being pierced with a spear to her mouth down to her body, with her soul suffering such fate.

Plot Summary: Yagyu Teinosuke is a battle proven Samurai of Lord Shiba, famed for his combat prowess. One time during a battle, Teinosuke alone slices through a hundred enemy Samurai and captures a head of enemy general. For that reason he is given a title of "The Butcher of Men". Victorious warrior returns home only to find his wife in arms of a lover. In a fit of anger, he slaughters her, her lover, and her entire family. After realizing the bloodshed he had committed, once mighty warrior surrenders himself to Lord Chosokame's justice. The Shogun however, wanting to further evangelize Nifon, intends to send one of most experienced and devout Nifonese preachers, Nakatomi Atsurakan, to Jerusalem to obtain original sutras of Old and New Testament. Eager to give the famous samurai chance to pay back to his sins, the ruler of Nifon offers Yagyu a deal; he will be pardoned in exchange for accompanying the preacher on his journey to Jerusalem. Teinosuke agrees, and once Nakatomi's student Hayashi Takamura joins them, the trio leave for their lengthy journey to Jerusalem.

Meanwhile an entire horde of yokai - physical hybrids between oni and material creatures created by Satan for purpose of extending himself into our reality - assemble in a cave on Island of Deijima for a council. The situation, they proclaim is not beneficial for them - Emperor Kogyoku is preaching the Gospel across the nation and Chosokame no Yorimoto destroyed all of their worshipers who could raise a rebellion. The Nifonese are in droves realizing the treachery of the kami and that they are false, turning to worship of Heavenly Father whom Yokai want to rebel against. An oni identifying himself as prince of Nifon manifests, furious that Heavenly Father's angels drove him away from the side of Shogun Chosokame. Demon informs the assembled creatures that the sacred sutras of Old and New testament can not be allowed to reach Nifon, least they will spark a massive conversion and power of evil over all Asia will wane. A reptilian naga slides forward, demanding to be given a chance to kill preacher Nakatomi and deliver his head; on which the oni replies that "he has made arrangements for that".

Meanwhile Yagyu organizes a team of samurai - all of whom have something to pay for - to provide the preacher an escort on his journey to the West. The team includes ninjutsu master Ashihara, exiled Wenchuani general Chen Xinyue, famed swordsman Takeda Katsumoto, womanizing ronin Maeda Takadatsu, silent expert in naginata use Otomo Tsurayuki and son of a Daimyo, Sanada Shōin. After getting on their ship, the vessel is attacked by an umi bozu, being a son of witch an and oni; the beast is defeated by continued efforts of all samurai, but the ship is damaged and wrecks near Wenchuani shore, forcing the team to proceed on foot.

Subsequently the team is forced to pass through Wenchuan, and then through wilderness that is a completely fantasy setting, full of yokai constantly trying to prevent the team from reaching Jerusalem. Yagyu and his samurai are forced to face numerous foes, including a six handed giant, a naga marksman, a snow witch that sucks the living force off her victims to keep herself young and other servants of the Devil, but defeat each of them through use of a creative ruse (the Giant, for example, is lured into a muddy ground which consumes him, to be killed by a hail of arrows shot by Chen Xinyue; naga marskman is tricked into revealing his location by a dummy having Yagyu's armor on it, and the witch's spells cease working when Atsurakan calls name of Lord Jesus Christ; she subsequently repents and renounces her witchcraft). However it seems as if the oni have inside knowledge about the team's movements.

Yagyu and his samurai pass through many other lands, before finding themselves in Farsia. A horde of yokai begins pursuing them, and the samurai devise a ruse; while the horde approaches, Takeda stands on a bridge, one of his friends having a horse tow several pieces of cut off wood to generate smoke. Loudly shouting, Takeda challenges the yokai to fight him, only to have fear paralyze them completely (as Atsurakan is seen praying in the background). The Yokai assume an ambush and retreat, while Takeda destroys the bridge. Hayashi Takamura is however separated from the group and captured by yokai; the group mourns him, but - assuming him dead - decides to move forward.

On their final road to Jerusalem, the team is ambushed by yokai, led by... Hayashi Takamura. It was revaled that the young preacher's attendant was in fact, a secret practitioner of Esoteric Shingon Buddhism, who was sent by the oni to prevent the scriptures from reaching Nifon. A battle erupts during which Yagyu slays the cheif yokai, a naga being direct descendant of Satan named Kuroryu. Takamura attempts to use his staff to cast a powerful spell; but is shot by General Xinyue. His staff explodes and he dies, realizing that Satan played him all along.

The team arrives at Jerusalem, receiving the sacred sutras of old and new testament in Hebrew and Greek from a local clergyman. As the samurai begin to head home, deep on the desert, Hayashi rises up, his right hand and eye cut off, and swears vengeance on Yagyu Teinosuke...

Plot Summary: Very different people from very different places in times of war grow to learn to see things from different perspectives. Old ways of thinking are challenged and ideas that were once firmly entrenched now begin to take damage much like the machinery of war weaponry in the times of great struggle. Nihonji Imperial history tells of a Great War that was waged between the forces of the Nihonji Imperial armed forces and the power of a nation looming in the nearby western territories. The continent of Europe becomes a hotbed of intense fighting resulting in some rather unlikely allies and some rather bitter adversaries. This very famous film is being shown for the first time in the Nation of New Edom and has for a while now been a fan favorite classic redone in various different languages spoken in the Nihonji Empire and languages entirely abroad.

Language: Mostly German with various moments of Hebrew (subtitles included of course). Various other European languages from around the area (east of Deutschland) like Russian make minor appearances in the film. Mongolian makes frequent appearances. Hindi is frequent. Ironically Mandarin Chinese and Nihonji (Japanese) make rather lacking of appearances in the film despite those being quite culturally significant languages in the Nihonji Empire. Italian is a frequent language. French and English too. Various other miscellaneous languages appear in the film with very little significant impact, mostly they are present because the war the film is set in WAS in fact a globally expansive conflict involving many different powers from all across the globe. All non German language moments are of course supplemented with the necessary subtitles.

Plot Summary: Nifon, year 1894. A plague of "permanent sleep" is spreading around the world, with no scientist being able to explain the phenomena. This disease becomes an important issue when Emperor Genji himself falls into the coma.

Captain Hata Kazuhiro, an officer in the Imperial Nifonese Guard, one of officers responsible for Emperor's safety and a person privately fascinated with everything mystical, suspects that the Emperor's condition may be a result of an attack carried out on him through a witchcraft; but is widely disbelieved. Dissatisfied with the society, he goes to archives where he finds a description of a very alike condition that happened to various important noblemen several hundreds of years ago. The young officers discovers that his family - the Hata clan - had something to do with it. Visiting the family's abandoned castle in Fujioka, Kazuhiro finds an ancient throne which, upon activation, transports his consciousness somewhere else.

He awakens in a completely artificial world - one with strange flora and fauna dominating it. Suddenly, the grass starts moving and a horde of red, horned beasts emerge, beginning the chase. Kazuhiro is led to safety by a Kirishinan woman known as Yi Kyung-Min, who is leading a village inside the world's dense jungle. To his surprise, he finds many people affected by the mysterious "eternal sleep" disease, but to his surprise, he is the only one who seems to be retaining his memory. The villagers believe that he is "The First" who will activate the fire pagoda and save them from the red beasts that terrorize his world of dreams. Hata is informed that he should head to find two additional men like him, who will help him confront the mysterious leader of the Red Beasts, known as "The Fallen".

Kazuhiro is taken in front of "The Wall" on which writing only he can read appears. Location of the first of "The Three" is a ruined castle in the jungle. After a lot o struggle and solving many mechanisms, Kazuhiro frees a man who reveals himself to be Emperor Genji, who had been imprisoned here. The two fend off an attack by a Red Beast scouting party, and subsequently head of to find the third member of their team. They find him after crossing through a dense series of dungeons. The man reveals himself to be Isaac Haretz, and just like Kazuhiro, retains his memories. He reveals that his real body is contained within a stasis chamber within the middle east; and that he had been a person who learned from King Solomon's technologies he located in an ancient vault. Intrigued by his wisdom, he begun his research into what is now known as "noosphere" where the plane is located. The Fire Pagoda, as it was later named was created as an idea to link human minds into one into a conscious illusion. By 1848 he was ready; yet by his mistake a powerful wizard known as "The Fallen" seized control over the Fire Pagoda. However, due to the fact that the Wizard is not a member of the Hata clan (aka the line of David) he can't assume full control over the simulation.

The three return to the village which had, by that time, came under attack by the Red Beasts. Hata makes a desperate last stand in front of the wall. He is wounded by a Red Beast and looses his consciousness. While in darkness, Kazuhiro hears a voice telling him to raise up and know that he is with him. Three seconds later, Hata rises up, now equipped with supernatural powers. Commenting on that to the Emperor, Isaac explains that "The Fallen" never really understood nature of the noosphere, and was able to seize control only due to simulation creator's mistake. He explains that noosphere is, ultimately, connected to far greater entity on a cosmic scale that can alter reality on a whim. And that said entity was never going to let "The Fallen" interfere with his world for too long, and had sent down his champion to defeat him. Now empowered with supernatural speed, strength and able to melt rocks with his sight, Kazuhiro easily slaughters the Red Beasts, but is unable to prevent them from taking Yi. Shortly after that, a Red Beast asks him to go to The Fire Pagoda itself (the simulation's center) to meet with "The Fallen" directly if he even wants to see Yi again.

Kazuhiro enters the Fire Pagoda. Passing by, he sees plenty of people, enslaved, without their memories. "The Fallen" reveals himself to be The Archenemy, Karl Marx himself. Marx explains that in his long career as a wizard and a leader, he was never able to find a direct way to bring forth his revolution against God and make communism a reality; human nature always stood in the way. Thus, Marx concluded, he should get rid of the individuality and bring all human intelligences into one collective, which will erase human individuality - the source of our equality - and make all of humanity united against God. He had learned about the Fire Pagoda drectly from his ally, Satan, and now intends to use it to realize his goal.

Marx temps Kazuiro with promises of power, only to be rejected. Infuriated, Marx strikes Captain Hata with a beam meant to erase his memories; but is unable to do so. Kazuhiro reverses the process and restores memories to all the people gathered in the tower, but only small minority choose to join him in rebellion against Karl Marx; the rest being too comfortable with their current state. A giant climatic battle ensues; after exchanging terrifying powers, Kazuhiro overpowers the Archenemy, frees Yi and destroys the Fire Pagoda's control tower, causing himself and all those who followed him to be freed from the device's control.

Kazuhiro awakens in his family' castle, surprised to find that he still possesses his powers. The last scene from the movie shows him reading Ephesisans 6 on Kirishinan railway station as smiling Yi walks towards him.

In the post credists scene, a secret society dedicated to spreading communism through witchcraft known as "Red Shambhalla" assembles and begins plotting to take over Nifon. Karl Marx suddenly manifests himself to announce that he is not done with Fire Pagoda yet...

Title: Revenge of the Vat Babies!

Plot Summary: The movie opens in modern-day Shrailleen. The first act focusses on a Shrailleeni scientist named Karella Vessava (Seyarra Vessla) who is struggling at her institution. A brilliant geneticist, she believes that only through the manipulation of the human genome can humanity truly reach its divine potential. Unable to get the funding for her research due to the immorality of her proposals and regarded with suspicion by her peers, especially department head Sellena Narethi (Shessiya Menattel), she now risks losing her position. Desperate, she breaks into the departmental office and slips the project into a much larger funding proposal. When the funding is approved, she quietly begins her experiments. So that no one will discover her ruse, she moves into an unused basement space beneath the building.

After some time passes, the head of the department Sellena has begun to grow suspicious of Karella's activities. She takes it upon herself to follow Karella one evening and discovers the secret lab. What she sees there horrifies her, and she calls the government to report it. At that moment Karella realizes that she has been discovered, and attacks Sellena. Knocking her unconscious, the scientist realizes that the government will be coming to destroy her work. She is seen fleeing, pushing a large cart, as Imperial Guard enter the lab.

In the second act years have passed since the lab's discovery. In Imperial City, a ranking member of the Shrailleeni government is mysteriously murdered. Leading the investigation is Ressen Valleta (Zallen Tallmeri). The murder is mysterious because there appeared to be no way for another person to have entered or left the room without detection. After another murder is committed a pattern emerges. When Ressen arrives at the third victims residence, he is witness to the murderer, who flees the scene with superhuman speed and agility. However, they are wounded by Ressen, who takes a blood sample to be analyzed by a local scientist, Sellena.

Sellena recognizes the DNA as belonging to Karella's experiments, and is horrified. Teaming up with Ressen, the two are able to discover the location of Karella's secret laboratory. Entering it, the two are immediately captured by tall, powerful women and men who display superhuman strength. Incapacitated, they are brought before Karella. The scientist has gone mad in the years since her escape. She reveals that she has trained her clone children to be the perfect weapons, their genes far superior to that of a normal human. She intends to use them to assassinate the Shrailleeni government, and then usher in a new era of clone supremacy. It is revealed that she has many new vats of clones almost ready to be born. Then, out of spite, she imprisons Sellena and Ressen to watch helplessly as her plan is manifested.

While imprisoned, Ressen is able to talk to one of the clones guarding them (Vesta Tralletta). The clone has never heard of the Mother Goddess, and has no knowledge of the concepts of love or compassion. Intrigued, the clone experiences a crisis of faith and identity. In the end she realizes that the life that she has been bred for is not a life fully human, only that of a tool. She helps the two escape, and tells them how to destroy the laboratory. When the other five clones arrive to stop them, the converted clone gives her life to hold them off single-handedly. Ressen and Sellena confront Karella, and Sellena is able to start the sequence to destroy the lab. The two escape while Karella, in a final fit of madness, tries to save her work. Her clones rush into the room just as the facility goes up in flames.

On the surface, Ressen and Sellena watch the explosion as Imperial Guards rush to the scene. They exchange some ideas about the nature of humanity and reflect sadly on the clone who helped them. Before the credits roll, the Guards are overheard having found six bodies, implying that one person escaped the destruction.

Plot Summary:

Ten years have passed since the First Contact event, an event in which two worlds nearly went to war in the path to peace. The year is 2023. With the assistance of Planeia, Earth has overcome many of its problems. The two worlds have become very close allies. A Galactic Assembly has been established, consisting of the member states of Earth and Planeia.

Despite the Planeians' undoubted benevolence, there are still those on Earth who reject them and view them with distrust. An extremist terrorist organisation known as "The Tribulation" work to no end to purge the Planeians from Earth. A joint group of Christian and Islamic fundamentalists, some members of the Tribulation view the Planeians as a test of faith by God, while others view them as the demon army of Satan, and the rest believe both.

However, the Tribulation is the very least of everyone's worries, when it is discovered that humans and Planeians are not the only two intelligent species in the universe. A dark and evil race, named the Malorg, whose very existence was merely rumored and regarded as folklore and mythology based on several vague prophecies within the Planeian religion of Omnitet's Philosophies, is found to inhabit the dark void that surrounds the galaxy. Millions of years more advanced than both humans and Planeians, they are nearly unstoppable by conventional means, this is further demonstrated when they invade both Earth and Planeia.

80,000 years ago, the Great Five, a group of gods subordinate to Omnitet that teach Omnitet's Philosophies, stopped visiting Planeia when Planeia's four moons and planetary ring align with the planet. It is prophesied that a team of mortals from the Natural World is to enter the Supernatural World and rescue the Great Five from captivity by an old dark foe. Once the Great Five are free, they would then be able to banish the Malorg back to the dark voids of space and save the galaxy.

Will the Tribulation be eliminated? Will the Malorg see the light of justice? Will the team of mortals save the galaxy? And who exactly is this old dark foe who has successfully captured the Great Five, something only Omnitet could do, and kept them in captivity for 80,000 years? All these questions will be answered in due time.

Plot Summary: Mapantalë (a word which carries the double meaning of "rape" and "mistreatment") tells the story of a young upper class woman (Oiolossë) who has allegedly been raped by one of her uncle's (Barahirondo) employees (Angijak), a young man from a lower class environment. The film takes place in a court room in Charn where the case is being tried and the incident is being seen in flashback through the perspective of four people, the alleged victim, the uncle/employer, the alleged perpetrator and the militia detective investigating the case (Malyasyr).

Initially the audience is lead to believe that Angijak's character is guilty, but as the story progresses several inconsistencies in the case against him is revealed and it begins to look increasingly like a miscarriage of justice is under way, facilitated by class prejudice and possibly bribery on account of the father of the alleged victim (Calaosto). The film ends with the judge (Mornanossë) preparing to announce her verdict.

Many of our clients prefer translations with a higher degree of fidelity; however, as you have accurately noted, some words do not have a direct translation to English, and one who is not knowledgeable of Helladrian culture may find there is a modest learning curve. Therefore, we also provide a second set of subtitles, fully translated into the languages of our clients and which are context sensitive. So as you can see, there is no need to worry further on this matter.

As for your concerns about our price, 180 USD is our list price, and the standard payment for all necessary licensing and distribution rights for theatre screenings.
