The burial was Monday, my first day back to work was yesterday, and I just got done logging all my puppets in so none will CTE. Does this sound like an NSer or what? :)

Thank you to everyone for your support. It will still be several days before I'm really back. My first priorities will be rosters for both TBI and High Heels as a courtesy to opponents (Hint: go beat them up while you can!) and preparing to resume scorination for GCF Test cricket.

<before lowering the tone.... good to see you put your head above the parapet, TBI; as Wight so rightly says, take your time, and don't feel you need to rush back>

Hello!

I am naming Milan, and I am being goalkeeper for Holy Empire and plik-plok player for famous Slobbodovanian folk music band Sbrskj Krk Trkrj; or, as you are saying in your language, "Let Us All Rejoice in Harmonious Melodies of Glorious Motherland".

I am here to be telling you about competition from Let Us All Rejoice in Harmonious Melodies of Glorious Motherland!

Please follow this thing that I am told you are calling a link:

viewtopic.php?p=13594409#p13594409

I do not know why you are calling it a link; I am thinking that links are for making chains for holding of goats. No doubt you are having many strange ways in this "World Cup".

Huh, I've just noticed something in the rankings, and I was wondering if any of you could help explain it: Post WC63, I was ranked 87th. Now, when I check the rankings for Pre WC64, I've dropped to 91st. Only the BoF has happened in that time - has that had an influence?

Post WC63, Your BoF was worth more than it is Pre WC64.

Since another BoF has taken place, the one you were in has moved 'to the right' in the ranking sheet, which means it is now multiplied by a smaller factor.

Yes, it has. You were in the last BoF, and dropped due to the fact that teams from this BoF came in. Teams from more recent BoFs are more significant than those from the last in terms of ranking importance. This is roughly correct.

EDIT: Ninja'd. My answer is totally pointless now, as I answered it after it had been resolved.

I've started an OOC planning thread for the multiplayer RP, to take place during WC65 if there's enough interest, that I mentioned earlier. I'll place a link to it in my sig, later on today, too.

A casual reminder with qualifiers about to start, that the best time to have the CoH hosting bids in by is around the mid-qual break. That way there is plenty of time to organise the vote and pick the hosts before the WC starts.

So, if you're considering it, the time to consider whether you're considering it seriously or just considering considering it is now.

Start considering.

With apologies to the prospective junior hosts who contacted me about a CoH bid, under the current circumstances I cannot bid. Thank you for your interest, and perhaps next time it will work out.

Not a problem, I'm not sure if I'd be able to host either at the moment, will need to work out when I'm busy in regards to that.

[EDIT:] Also I've just seen the World Cup Group, and I'm definitely pleased with that draw! Western cuba is a nation I have history with, and also from my first ever Qualifying attempt. Mytannion is a nation I've been wanting to face for a while and Inevitable is a very promising new RPer. Nethers and Silar are the only other teams I know from there.
