Aw screw it, I'll do battle with ignorance today:

There is no such thing as an AK-47. "AK-47" is a made-up Westernized term first created by the CIA and popularized by Hollywood, and does not refer to any weapon ever made in the Soviet Union, ever. This probably has something to do with NATO's fascination with putting numbers after weapon designations, something the Soviets were not as fond of doing. What 99% of people think is an AK-47 is actually called an AKM, and what the other .9999999999 percent think is an AK-47 is simply an AK (Type 1 through 3).

The best flag ever is clearly that of the Empire of the Great Qing:

My favourite (national) flag in current use, though, would probably be the flag of Bhutan.

Second is the Union Flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Because it's my homeland, and because it's a pretty cool and distinctive design.

My thoughts exactly.

I love the Union flag, I think it's a unique masterpiece of flag creation. All the proposed alternatives make me cringe. And the plan to add the welsh dragon was terrible, I hope that idea never comes up again. I have nothing against wales, it's just that sticking a dragon on it would ruin it.

If Scotland leaves then I hope we can keep it. The English flag is painfully dull.
Vorradia. A place where freedom is a fading memory. At the heart of the sprawling, embattled province lies Imperial City. Or as the city is really called by the poor souls who inhabit it: Forsaken Hope. Here they suffer under a fanatically religious totalitarian regime. Outside the city walls lies a frozen and inhospitable wasteland. The people here live free from government control, but at a terrible price. They live in small nomadic communities, struggling to survive in the harsh climate.

The Tibetan flag, also known as the "snow lion flag" and the "Free Tibet flag", was a flag of the military of Tibet, introduced by the 13th Dalai Lama in 1912 and used in the same capacity until 1959. Designed with the help of a Japanese priest, it reflects the design motif of Japanese military's Rising Sun Flag. Since the 1960s, it is used a symbol of the Tibetan independence movement.
