Now, I'll answer it myself.

1. Best part of Arc?: I rather like the first twenty pages when I don't do much. I also liked the brief interlude of the Fae castle and time travel, though it did start feeling somewhat rushed. Luckily, I can take my time in the last arc.
2. Worst?: I hated Atlantis. I also utterly started to despise this rp in February for some obvious OOC reasons.
3. Favourite NPC and why?: I can't particularly comment. I tend to judge my characters as tools and means to an end and don't get extremely involved in them. I do enjoy writing Calliel and Death, if I must state a preference.
4. Least favourite NPC and why?: I disliked Azazel, but I started to get him near the end.
5. Favourite PC? (not played by me): I'll go with Lewis.
6. What do you want to see next arc?: Less stupid bitching in the OOC, but that won't happen.

LORIMAR TELEVISION

IN CONJUNCTION WITH

BBC AMERICA

IS PROUD TO PRESENT

A GAY ERIC ONE-SHOT...

DATE WITH DESTINY
WRITTEN BY ASTROLINIUM

"I'm sorry, but I just can't get over that your name is Parnell."

The blond man laughed comfortably. "Why?"

"Have you ever read the book Dovey Coe by... well, fuck if I can remember the author's name."

"No, I can't say I have."

"Well, I had to read it back in eight grade, and when we were reading aloud in class I voiced this old southern lawyer and, well, I do voices, and this one kid thought I was doing an English accent. But anyway, there was this one character in it named Parnell Carraway."

"And?" Parnell sipped his drink - a sweet tea, from Bojangle's - and leaned back in the chair.

"He was a real asshole. I think he killed the main character's dog or something. Or maybe he got killed by the dog. Either way, my point is that he was an asshole and you aren't." Eric smiled charmingly.

Parnell laughed again - he had quite an endearing laugh. The man was short, much like Eric, and he had eyes as dark as the night sky. He was a bit stout, admittedly, but Eric liked to think that he was more "cuddly" than "fat".

Suddenly, Parnell stopped laughing and leaned forward, putting his elbows on the table. Eric, a bit quizzical, mimicked his motions, staring into the man's eyes.

Parnell said, "Eric, I'm really enjoying myself tonight."

Eric smiled. "Me too."

And then they leaned forward some more and their lips touched. Their eyes closed and Parnell put his hand on Eric's cheek. The kiss lasted for about a second and a half. Eric was the one who pulled away first.

"Parnell, before we go further, there's something I need to tell you. You seem like a nice guy, and so I'm just gonna put myself out here plain as day and hope you don't get freaked out and run off like everybody else."

Parnell frowned and said, "Okay. Go ahead."

"I... I'm magic. Please don't laugh. I can make things happen, when I whistle or hum or even just think of something musical now. I can whistle Beethoven's Fifth and a spectral hand of fate appears before me, and I have complete control over it."

Parnell nodded seriously, leaning back in his chair again.

Eric said flatly, "You don't believe me."

"I do, actually. I have... a similar problem."

Parnell snapped his fingers and there was a spark of electricity. "I'm a pyrokinete, though my powers also seem to extend to lightning as well."

Eric had never felt more relieved in his life. The pair kissed again, this time more passionately. That night, Eric went home with Parnell and the two slept together. The next morning, over coffee, they decided that they were now boyfriends - they would need no further dates to make sure that they liked each other enough.

Name: Parnell Astley
Age (Actual): 28
Age (Appears): 28
Race: Human
Appearance (Picture or good description): Short, blond, and a bit chubby. He wears round glasses, and his eyes are like a starless night sky reflected in a lake. His nose is smallish, and his smile is warm and inviting. His hair is longish - the sort that you can run your fingers through while making out - and he tends to keep a goatee from time to time.
Powergrid/Powers:
DUR - 2
INT - 2
SPD - 2
FS - 2
STR - 2
CHAR - 5
Power: Minor Pyrokinesis, Lv. 5 - Can manipulate fire and occasionally lightning.
Weaknesses (Optional, but you could get more points if you do this):
Personality: He's flirty, romantic, and idealist. He believes people are basically good. He's a lover, and a passionate one at that, as well as intensely loyal. When he likes a person, he really likes a person, and forms very strong relationships. He loves to laugh, to eat, to enjoy life to its fullest.
History: Born in 2002 in the mountains of Tennessee, Parnell was basically an average human. He went to school, and when he discovered his powers he kept them secret, largely. The realization of his homosexuality was a bit tough to deal with, coming from a conservative Southern Baptist family, but he coped. It was a time of changing attitudes and he found places for acceptance. As a young adult, he went to UNC Chapel Hill for Classics, and fell in a bit with the wrong crowd. He took hedonism to an extreme, but eventually cleaned up his act with not too much damage done. As humanity entered a new golden age, he moved to England - as that seemed to be a very happening place - to find work, where he met Eric Manischewitz and became a secretary administrative assistant at Elfen High.
RP Sample: Bleh.

So that I feel as though I've actually written an epilogue.
"You do know that you can't win, right?" Kyoko's voice was calm, but her eyes were full of worry. She found it strange that Izanagi had chosen to hide for so long and suddenly decided to reveal himself. For as long as they could remember, whenever Eris had gotten close to discovering him, Izanagi had simply ran, without turning back to what he was leaving behind.

Now, he was standing face to face with Eris. "I know..." Izanagi murmured to himself. She still had that warm, motherly smile that you would never actually see on a mother. It was too perfect, and too nice. It was unnatural. And Eris knew this. It was purposeful. Nothing she did lacked purpose, no matter how little the purpose. The two stood in front of each other for a whole 10 seconds before Eris made the first move. Kyoko instinctively reached for her katana and Natsu caught her hand, shaking his head.

Eris placed her hand on Izanagi's head and simply said, "...You're so short now." She suddenly began laughing. She was the only one laughing, and when she finally stopped, Izanagi's eyes were still as serious and cold as they had been before. "I could cut off your head to make us equal in height you know."

Eris smiled. "Sure, why not? After you beat Riordan, you can chop off my head however many times you like." At the mention of his name, Riordan appeared...by popping his head out of the ground like a mole. "Yo..." Izanagi, Kyoko and Natsu all simultaneously thought, What the fuck were you doing in the ground? Riordan reached up with his hands and pulled himself out of the ground, then began dusting himself off.

"Are you ready?" he asked Izanagi. Izanagi nodded. Suddenly the sound of a whistle caused the everyone to cover their ears. Eris appeared between the two, for some reason dressed in a referee outfit. "Wait a second! I haven't decided what type of match it will be!" She held a golden apple in her hand. "Perhaps a...tennis match?" She snapped her hands and suddenly they were in the middle of a tennis court. "No... too much strange grunting. How about a joust?" They were suddenly in the middle of a renaissance fair, with Izanagi and Riordan on top of horses and dressed in knight outfits. "No...Fuck horses. Fuck them so much." She looked one of the horses straight in the eyes and made the "I'm watching you" motion with her hands. She put her finger to her forehead and looked at the ground as though in thought. "Breakdancing competition? Rap battle? Lightsaber battle? Agni Kai?" One after another, their surroundings changed to whatever was appropriate for what she suggested.

Finally, Riordan and Izanagi both yelled, "ENOUGH!" Eris pouted and snapped her fingers. They were back on the island they were on in the beginning. "Fine. Standard battle to the death in a random field it is." Eris disappeared, along with Natsu and Kyoko, and they reappeared sitting on a large pair of football stands. Only, there were dozens of copies of Eris, all cheering. They began chanting, "Riordan!" over and over, when one of them stood up and shouted, "Hey! We can't all cheer for Riordan!" The Erises (Erisi?) began discussing this among themselves, before finally they reached an agreement.

Half of them continued chanting Riordan's name, and the other half chanted Izanagi's name. Izanagi, with a disgusted look on his face said, "Let's get this over with quickly." Riordan nodded, in complete agreement with the same look of disgust. Izanagi wasted no time, and attacked first, drawing his katana and bringing it down upon Riordan's head. It was blocked however, by Riordan's claymore...with one hand. Which was strange, because the weapon was made to be wielded with two hands. Which meant... Izanagi jumped backwards as a fist barely grazed his cheek. Great... he's faster than me... was the first though Izanagi had.

Now, it was Riordan's turn to attack. He ran forward and attacked with an underhand slash. Izanagi blocked it and was immediately hit in the face by Riordan's elbow, allowing him to knock the katana out of Izanagi's hands. With a clean arc, he brought his claymore back and performed a forward thrust aiming straight for Izanagi's heart. However, the sword was stopped prematurely. Grinning, Riordan thought He caught it with his hands? No...this is something else. With one swift motion, the claymore was snapped like a twig. Riordan jumped back, surprised at this action. He didn't think his sword could be broken so easily. Without a second though however, he transformed. Izanagi immediately stated, "Fuck me..."

Izanagi coughed up blood as he sat seiza-style. His vision was fading, and his eyes were growing heavy. "Well...I have to admit that this sucks," he said with a chuckle. Riordan at this time was back into his human form and said nothing. He simply picked up Izanagi's katana and walked up to place it into his lap. "It is dishonorable for a samurai to die without his sword as his side, is it not?"

Izanagi couldn't help but laugh, and I mean, really laugh. "I'm afraid you've been deceived. I'm not a samurai. I haven't been one for over 500 years. I'm aware you've been looking for a samurai. I'm aware that you've been preparing to fight one. But... I'm not one." Riordan turned to Eris (well, the dozens of Erises in the stands). "I do not understand. You said you needed me to fight a samurai. Were you lying to me?" The Erises looked at each other and with a flash, they morphed back into one Eris, with the football stands gone and with Natsu and Kyoko staring coldly at Izanagi's dying body.

Eris smiled. "I was not lying. You have been preparing to fight a samurai. And you will fight one. Natsu and Kyoko here know this." Riordan looked at the two individuals, and instead of anger or grief in their eyes, he saw...pity. And it wasn't directed at Izanagi. It was at...Riordan.

And then, the right side of his body felt suddenly heavier than the left side of his body. He looked to his left, and saw that his arm was completely gone. Collapsing to the ground, he shuddered. This wasn't from the loss of an arm. No, he had faced similar injuries in the 300 or so years he had been with Eris. He looked up at the figure that stood with its back to him. Such...strong killing intent permeated through the air around it. It suffocated Riordan. The figure spoke "Why... Why would you bring me back to his horrible place, Eris?" Eris outstretched her arms with a war and welcoming smile, as though she was a mother about to embrace her child. "I missed you...my favorite Hitokiri." The figure turned around, and the killing intent subsided. Without looking Eris in the yes, he simply said, "Yeah... whatever."
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

It seems a little bit pretentious that he summoned the press for that. To me, anyways. But I like that he aplogized and stuff.

Also, anyone have ideas for a demonic flag? I was thinking a demon holding the severed head of the scapegoat to represent freedom from Azazel, and a satanic cross thrown in to represent the fire and brimstone of hell and stuff.

I'm just asking because I feel as though I should describe one in my epilogue. :P.

Second, he also had to get his message off to Pure Earth, because I like setting up vague and potentially-completely-ignored plotlines.

But, reading further, I guess the part about getting his message to Pure Earth makes sense.

Not sure how you could miss "Magic Banana." :p

"I had a speech prepared." He explained. "But then I figured you wouldn't want some meticulously detailed and constantly edited lecture.

The truth is, I am Iron Man."

Tiami is cool.
Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".

Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

It's Nightkill. He's been there so long he rents out rooms to other people at a flat rate, but demands cash up front.

Other than messing up on links, Indi, Stay in Shadow is with Salvatore Scuro and Suffering Soul.

What do you think inspired it? :P

Thing is, I'm completely changing the concept as well if they do show up.

It's so cliche and, most of all, moronic.

We have a lot of villains planned. Why would we waste any of the time we could be using on them on that?
