The thing about Eridu being the first city in the world comes from local mythology, but it might actually be true. The Mesopotamian cities are generally agreed to be the earliest examples or urbanization, and Eridu is one of the oldest, possibly the oldest of them. Yeah, I did research for this character. Read like five Wikipedia pages. No big deal.
Psh, the extent of my reading has been jumping from 15th to 19th century Japan, to Europe around roughly the same period in no coherent manner whatsoever.

My character's backstory jumps from Mesopotamia in 3000 BC to 11th century England. What was she doing between? No idea. I'll figure it out later. Or maybe I won't.

Basically that's what I'm doing. I have a general outline, but I have to fill in the gaps with a shitton of random one shots that probably won't end up chronologically logical.

Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

I was going to wrap up the dragon subplot first, really, since the two are related.
But meh, I have an idea which I'll roll with. We won't have a real epic boss fight, but I think everyone just wants this arc to end now.

"Quod Vult, Valde Valt"
Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

No. Sorry.
They don't make goggles in his size and he insisted on getting a blue cape.
