Burgunden Breu Pubs

Postby Neu Engollon » Mon Feb 04, 2013 11:06 am

Burgunden Breu Pubs are steeped in tradition almost as old the Confederacy itself. The first pub opened on Tiermacht Strasse, right next to the Burgunden Breuerie, just a few decades after the breuerie was already churning out the most popular beverages in the city.

Burgunden Breu Pubs, a division of Burgunden Breueries is now expanding operations. We are looking to open a location in your nation. There are already many successful locations in malls, cities, airport terminals, parks, cruise ships and other various locations throughout the globe. We offer an experience that is both unique and familiar at the same time.

We have the best selection of award winning beers and ales from around the world, including our own extensive varieties brewed by a sanctioned Assistant Master Brewer and Apprentice Brewers, trained to the strictest standards under the main Burgunden Breuerie House. Service is guaranteed, as well, to have one licensed Beer Steward on staff at all times. Our chefs are award winning, having a repertoire of native Neu Engollian cuisine, as well as many International styles. At our locations outside the Confederacy, we recruit chefs and kitchen staff, and of course, serving staff, from the local areas to expand the experience and help to cater to local and regional tastes. Menu options vary by location to suit local palates, but also carry several BreuPub standards. We look forward to bringing our fantastic and fun experience to a location near you!

Opening a Pub Location

Postby Neu Engollon » Mon Feb 04, 2013 11:07 am

Opening a Burgunden BreuPub in your Nation!

PLEASE TRY TO USE IC COVER LETTER WITH A NAME OF A CONTACT (Gov. or Corp.) We will not open more than 50 locations in any nation and prefer to open even less if possible. Opening restaurant locations are expensive and can sap a company's budget immensely if they turn out to fail after the first year, which many restaurants do, no matter how expertly managed, due to many factors.

We also would prefer not to dilute our own brand by over saturating a particular market. Please be reasonable in requests.
Please name cities/locations (or cruise ships) they will be located in. If locations are not named, request may be ignored. If there are more than one location requested in each city, please put a certain district or address with each location. We have distribution in line and do not offer independent franchises at this time, preferring to run each location direct through BB Corporate. We are a brewpub (BEER) themed restaurant, so...If your nation does not allow alcohol consumption then please do not apply.

Burgunden BreuPub

A fun, family atmosphere with an international pub flavor. Serving all of your favorite Burgunden Breus, plus some extra varieties on tap. National cuisine favorites side by side with some International top choices, and regional choices depending on the location. There is a back fun room with arcade games, darts and billiards. In most locations there is also a small stage for entertainment.

BEER AND CIDER LIST:
Glass sizes vary for available beers, with some only having one size offered, so please ask for closest desired size. There is also a full stocked bar for liquors other than ales, beers & ciders.

GERTNER'S CIDERS
We now serve cider from Gertner's Cider Mill. There is a rotating selection of ciders on tap, so your request may be served in a bottle instead:

Classic Cider (7.5% ABV)
Your basic, classic apple cider with a kick. Gertner's uses the most premium apples for the fermentation process.
Roasted Pecan (7.7% ABV)
Pecans and other nuts and spices give a robust smoky flavor to this apple based cider
Chai (8% ABV)
Eastern Spices infuse this cider during its fermentation.
Berry (6.5% ABV)
Apple and berry mix fermented in special barrels
Pear (6% ABV)
No apples used in the process, all natural pear fermented cider.
Apricot (7.7% ABV)
Again, no apples, all apricots in a fruity, velvety richly textured nectar.
Seasonal
Please ask server for what is the current seasonal special variety on tap.
Soft Cider (0% ABV)
Non-alcoholic dry cider that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

HOUSE BEERS & ALES

Golden Cross Lager (3.8% ABV)
A very easy, smooth drinking lager with a low ABV (3.8%). It is a blue collar institution in Neu Engollon and now quickly becoming a standard in the world. Golden Cross was an independent breuerie near Albertville established 70 years ago by Guillaume Monyer Sr. It was infused with new life by BB, in order that a classic brand not be lost to the ages. Golden Cross Brewing; Albertville, Neu Engollon

Golden Cross Liyt (2.9% ABV)
The much in demand GCL, or Golden Cross Liyt, is a lower calorie beer that comes in under 80 calories but doesn't sacrifice flavor while dropping calories. 'Gimme a Gee Cee El!' is a favorite phrase heard in the local corner bars, and can now be heard in Burgunden Breupubs. Golden Cross Brewing; Albertville, Neu Engollon

Chateaux (4.8% ABV)
A light bodied, crisp pilsner, golden in color; It is a widely loved favorite for light beers in Neu Engollon and a selection that has been in our repertoire since almost the beginning. (AVBF 2014 Gold Medal; 2012 & 2013 Silver Medal)

Shadow Shandy (6.7% ABV)
A dark malted wheat mixed with lemonade, but still soft on the nose; A unique shandy that is more bold and has more bite than many of your typical, light summer shandies. (AVBF 2013 Silver Medal)

Krieg Kolsch (5.6% ABV)
A moderate, crisp beer with a light spiced, hoppy mouthfeel; A traditional kolsch that has been drunk by seafaring and farming folk alike, a newer twist on an old recipe.

81 Ale (6.5% ABV)
A hearty, hoppy India pale ale, but still clean aftertaste due to a well maintained amount of Alpha and Beta acids that strike a balance of flavor and bitterness; A standard with BB and it's avid loyalists, 7 extreme hops that keep building up with its double and triple varieties. (AVBF 2013 Gold Medal; 2012 & 2014 Silver Medal)

Rouge Rye Ale (6.66% ABV)
A robust, amber rye ale, brilliant in color and moderate in body; Made with 5 kinds of hops, Maltropian Barlye and rye - it's process has been refined for generations. It is the pride of BB, especially after taking 1st place at the AVBF. (AVBF 2012 Gold Medal; 2013 & 2014 Silver Medal)

Ferme Terre Saison (5.4% ABV)
A creamy, but light Belgian farm style ale; Made with citrus, coriander and other spices and slightly bitter hops from the Albertville area. The yeast is extremely aggressive like most Belgian style ales. Traditionally like the home kegs farmers always had brewing and on hand for daily drinking and celebrating. (AVBF 2014 Gold Medal; 2013 & 2014 Silver Medal)

Granpappy's Grüit (7.4% ABV)
A rich, piney, earthy spiced drink that comes from a very old recipe passed down through the centuries. It has a bitter aftertaste and then a sweet floral mouthfeel following that can overwhelm the senses. A strong cult favorite with many, it was originally unavailable outside the main Burgunden Breuerie until now. (AVBF 2013 & 2014 Gold Medal)

Schiele Stout (6.2% ABV)
A thick, black malted stout; Named after one of the heroes that threw back the Napoleonic invaders in the early 19th Century, a hearty, thick drink made for a hero of the Confederacy. Schiele is aged in oak barrels before shipping out in order for the black malt to build up a rich flavor. (AVBF 2013 Silver Medal)

Berry Lambic (4.8% ABV)
A fruity, syrupy dessert lambic; This lambic serves the place of a dessert liqueur at dinner tables across Neu Engollon. (AVBF 2012 & 2013 Gold Medal)

BREWS FROM AROUND THE WORLD ON TAP:

PILSNERS AND LAGERS

Tibrak Golden Pilsner (4.1% ABV)
Golden Pilsner is evocative of all things Gragastavian: sand, camels, and oil. Crisp as a camel’s coat, the nose gives way to a smooth, mellow finish thanks to the infusion of six-row barley, imported Humartava hops, and a proprietary blend of spices. Tibrak Brewing; Tibrak, Gragastavia

Keefe’s Lager (4.3% ABV)
Light-bodied and refreshing golden lager with an easy-drinking balance between malt and hop bitterness. A distinctive dry finish.
Keefe's Brewing, Breton, Haligonia, Kelssek

Moledet Lager (4.7% ABV)
Moldet is a high quality Nachmerean Lager, in the tradition of coastal Nachmere. It is a light, bright and crisp lager. A combination of the finest hops and two-row malts from Nesharim Island and Kiryat Yam area makes it a refreshing, easy to drink beer, a hit at the pool or a refresher after a hard day of work in the hot Nachmerean sun.
Nesharim's Finest, Nesharim Island, Nachmere

Keefe’s Premium Lager (4.9% ABV)
Like the classic Keefe's Lager, but with a slightly more malted body and a rich aftertaste.
Keefe's Brewing, Breton, Haligonia, Kelssek

Tibrak Parrot Lager (4.1% ABV)
Limited edition for over 50 years, the Tibrak Limited Edition Parrot Lager is a complex blend of amber barley and Gragastavian emerald hops that always satisfies with its robust malt flavor and fruity finish. Tibrak Limited Edition Parrot Lager is sure to please even the most particular of palates! Tibrak Brewing; Tibrak, Gragastavia

Keefe’s Pilsener (3.7% ABV)
A smooth, crisp pilsener in the classic style with just a touch of the taste that only Keefe's can bring.
Keefe's Brewing, Breton, Haligonia, Kelssek

Aleworks Golden Lager (4% ABV)
The Aleworks Golden Lager is the perfect introduction to the world of craft beers, as it is a smooth, mild beer, blessed with a refreshing taste, without being too wild. The drinker can look forward to hints of papaya and mango in this shining example of a Golden Lager.
This beer is amber-gold in color, full-bodied, mildly sweet and light-coloured, with low bitterness
Aleworks Breweries in Greenfields Borough, Port Ember Megalopolis, Port Ember

PALES, WHEATS AND AMBERS

Fiery Herring (5% ABV)
A fine rich, malty amber ale to cure what ales ya.
Window Road Brewery in Dwile, Apox.

Aleworks Pale Lager (4% ABV)
The Aleworks Pale Lager prides itself in being a beverage exploding with exciting and bold flavor. It contains flavor bursts of oranges and melons.
Aleworks Breweries in Greenfields Borough, Port Ember Megalopolis, Port Ember

Valkyrie Golden Ale (5.3% ABV)
The Valkyrie is a traditional Rhydinian style ale, known as Jecun, named after it's creator. Originating in the central plains city of Anhui, Jecun ales have the characteristics that many people associate with lager beers. Valkryie is brewed with an ale yeast, but like other northern Rhydinian light ales, it is straw gold in color and light bodied. The flavor is mild. The hopping levels provide a crisp, dry finish that make this beer particularly refreshing.
Winner of a gold medal at the first AVBF.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Keefe’s White Ale (5.4% ABV)
A great seasonal ale to be enjoyed in the winter, Keefe's White Ale has just a touch of spice and a warm, yeasty feel to it.
Keefe's Brewing, Breton, Haligonia, Kelssek

Aleworks Rose Lager (4% ABV)
A Port Emberian is known for a great many things - and his brave appreciation of the wild, strange and exotic is chief amongst these. Thus, what better way to celebrate your appreciation for the exotic than with one of our original and staple Aleworks Liilith Rose Lagers?
Our original lager is a perfectly balanced, expertly crafted example of traditional values and quality, boosted with a truly exotic spin! This Premium Lager is infused with the essence of actual roses - the national rose of Port Ember no less! This unique brew will have you begging for more.
Aleworks Breweries in Greenfields Borough, Port Ember Megalopolis, Port Ember

Puync (Boars) Ginger Wheat (5.7% ABV)
Puync Ginger Wheat Ale is an ode to our original brewers favorite spice, ginger. The earthy, warming flavor of this golden-hued ale is derived from fresh ginger. Honey from a local Anhui farm yields a slight sweetness to balance the ginger spiciness. A hint of lemon adds acidity and rounds out the ginger flavor. Warm up your chilly winter nights with this ginger spiced beer.
Winner of a silver medal at the first AVBF.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Dfemekrd (Twilight) Ale (4.9% ABV)
We brew Dfemekrd Ale to be a lighter, but full-flavored ale with a balanced malt profile and a harmonious blend of four hops. Then a final heady dose of bold Amarillos creates a distinctive finish.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Krucd (Ghost) Pale Ale (5.6% ABV)
Boars Head Brewery’s most popular beer, Krucd Pale Ale is a quintessential Rhydinian pale ale with a definitive hop aroma and hop forward flavor.
Krucd Pale Ale has four different hop additions along with the all-important dry hopping. What separates this pale ale, though, is balance. Most folks just heap on the hops and call it a day. Boars Head, on the other hand, uses a deft touch of Crystal malts to offset the definitive Cascade hop profile resulting in a delicate malty sweetness.
The proliferation of pale ales only proves how rare a truly great one is.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Nat Suuh (Red Moon) Amber Ale (6.3% ABV)
Nat Suuh's diverse selection of hops and barley captivates thirsty palates with its toffee-like flavor, intense citrus aroma and defined bitterness.
Located on the northern slope of Mt. Jymuinuic, the Nat Suuh was also known as Nat Remm (Red Hill) due to its reddish color that is revealed as the seasons change, the weather warms and the snow melts. It's spring. Time to get outside.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Red Sky Ale (5.1% ABV)
Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Whatever the colour of the sky, this amber ale is always a delight. A subtle caramel and malty flavour.
Keefe's Brewing, Breton, Haligonia, Kelssek

IPAs AND SPICED ALES

Benyda (Pirate) Ale (6.7% ABV)
Our year-round beer answer to the siren call of the hop. Inversion’s trio of Rhydinian hops deliver an over-the-top nose with hints of orange and grapefruit. Then we toss in seven days of dry-hopping for good measure. Because we can.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Keefe’s India Pale Ale (5.8% ABV)
The standard of IPAs to measure others. A full hopped body and a slight grapefruit taste makes this a popular favorite for the hop-loving crowd.
Keefe's Brewing, Breton, Haligonia, Kelssek

DARK ALES AND BREWS

Arava Dark Lager (5.5% ABV)
Arava is a high quality dark Nachmerean Lager, in the typical central Nachmeran style. It is a rich, strong lager of deep brown color brewed from the finest hops and barley malts of central Nachmeres farmland. Roasty and flavorful, Arava is good to drink on its own, but even better with a good hardy meal.
Nesharim's Finest, Nesharim Island, Nachmere

Tyng Fumv (Dark Wolf) Ale (6.4% ABV)
What better way to toast the fall than to have a bottle of this formidable, dual character brew. At first, smooth with mellow overtones of sweet berry fruit, a bite of bitterness suddenly cuts through, long, deep and lingering. Brewed with rye malt, it is naturally ‘blood red’ in color. Tyng Fumv pours a deep, ruby red with a smallish head and a decent amount of lacing. With a malty aroma with caramel, toffee and bready overtones. Rye malt and berries are the main attraction, so the ale has a somewhat sweet taste with a slight bitterness at the finish.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

St. Fenzel's Abbey Ale (8.3% ABV)
A rich, spicy, dark, Belgian style Abbey Ale. One of the most unique and tantalizing selections from Omholt's. Our Master Brewer Hoppy Jensen swears that they are slapping their label on someone else's brew.
Omholt's Breuerie in Schwartzgarten, Neu Engollon (AVBF 2013 Gold Medal; 2012 & 2014 Silver Medal)

STOUTS AND PORTERS

Tyng (Dark) Porter (7.8% ABV)
Our flagship beer, Tyng Porter defined Boars Head as a place intent to follow its own brewing muse. At a time when dark beer was viewed with suspicion, this deep, satiny brew went out and dispelled the myths for a generation of enthusiasts. Tyng is rich in flavor yet easy to drink, with a creamy, smooth mouth feel. The slight hop bitterness up front only enhances the distinctive chocolate and roasted finish to come. It continues to reap accolades and medals from those who know best. Winner of a gold medal at the first AVBF.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Pmylg Buum (Black Pool) Porter (11% ABV)
The Pmylg Buum has immeasurable depth inviting you to explore and discover its rich, complex profile. Hints of molasses, licorice and other alluring flavors draw you in further and further with each sip. And at 11% alcohol by volume, you will want to slowly savor each and every ounce.
Winner of a silver medal at the first AVBF.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Lrulumyda Tnays (Chocolate Dream) Stout (8.5% ABV)
Lrulumyda Tnays Stout is brewed with milk sugar and milk chocolate. The rich and creamy brew reminds us of a cold glass of chocolate milk. This seasonal is richer, creamier and with a smooth mouth feel that belie its 8.5 percent.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Upceteyh (Obsidian) Stout (7.4% ABV)
Upceteyh Stout is as black as the nearby volcanic flow from which it gets its name. It’s a deep and satisfying experience, with distinct notes of chocolate, espresso, roasted malt and black barley. It is robust and full, with a big roasted finish.
Upceteyh, along with Krucd and Tyng, first set Boars Head on its renegade path of high-risk, high reward brewing. Any tour of great craft beer starts here.
Think of Upceteyh as the malt yin to Krucd’s hop yang, and the perfect beer to sit, contemplate and linger over.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

Whedab Isk (Dark Star) Stout (8.8% ABV)
Pitch black in color, this stout emits a nice, fresh aroma of light roasted malt and a touch of coffee and nuts. The body is very dark with no transparency and a small head of foam that disintegrates in due time.
This beer has an appearance that demands some respect, and the flavor is ferocious as the appearance would lead you to believe. The flavors present include roasted malt, some coffee, and a touch of chocolate. The beer has a bitter finish, but not too bitter, and it is lighter than expected. Winner of a gold medal at the first AVBF.
Boars Head Brewing in Anhui, The City State Rhydin

From: Stefan Germetz, Vice President of BreuPub Operations, Burgunden Breuerie
Re: Burgunden BreuPub locations in Incorporated States of Querria

Lady Aidia,

We are very pleased that you have decided to open Burgunden BreuPub locations in your nation. The 50 locations listed have been researched and determined to be excessive for a nation of your diminutive size. As stated in our promotional literature, we wish to start small and develop from there in new markets, especially when the demand from customers might not be so great. To do otherwise would invite over-saturation of a market and financial collapse. We would like to counter-propose three locations instead of 50, with 2 being in your home nation and one being in your Grol colony. Once discrepancies are straightened out and the counter-proposal is accepted, construction will begin as soon as we line up local contractors. We will also act quickly to find local suppliers and vendors. Also, as far as your menu requests, red wine and whiskey are already to be found in our bar inventories and sea bass will be considered, but we feel that the crusted salmon and lemon tilapia already on the menu may leave our bases well covered.
Please let me know personally of any other way I can help in opening more ties with The Incorporated States of Querria and continuing to grow the Querrian private sector, as well as culturally expanding Querrian horizons.

Sincerely,

Stefan Germetz, BB VP of BreuPub Operations

Re: Burgunden BreuPub locations in Incorporated States of Querria

To Whom it May Concern in the Querrian Government,

We accept the counter proposal. We are indeed looking forward to having your business in our country. We may also notify you when it may be opportune time to expand your business further.

Re: Burgunden BreuPub locations in United Islands of the Pacific

To the FDD Director,

We are very pleased that you have decided to open Burgunden BreuPub locations in your nation. The 50 locations mentioned have been researched and determined to be acceptable, but we would like to start with the initial locations listed by name and go from there, so as to test expansion of the market. Construction will begin as soon as we line up local contractors. We will also act quickly to find local suppliers and vendors. We always follow the alcohol imbibing laws of each respective nation that hosts our BreuPub locations.
Please let me know personally of any other way I can help in opening more ties with The United Islands of the Pacific and continuing to grow the Pacifian private sector, as well as culturally expanding Pacifian horizons.

Sincerely,

Stefan Germetz, BB VP of BreuPub Operations
