International FireStorm Cup II (Everything)

I did sign up for this a long time ago. So I though I will revive it, as it was a good idea

International FireStorm Cup II is an 11 v. 11 soccer (football) tournament. We are aiming for 16 teams to enter the competition. Each nation that signs up will enter two club teams.

Cup Format: The Group Stage will be single leg. There will be a Eight Group of four format. The top two teams will go through to the knock-out stages. Play-off will be there when we need it.

RP Bonuses: As you will be having two different matches playing each match. It would have to be hopefully a single RP to two different parts. But please state which Club it is so I can Apply to the ranking of that team.

0: No RP
1: Poor RP
2: Reasonable RP
3: Great RP

The Mashik domestic football has had a big revamp this year, with the introduction of the new recognition of the lower divisions as well as the name change of the official league, but there's still been the top two teams that have always been there, as South Bartal chase F.C Dagnar United for the title. Just two quick questions: 1. Both of my nations got exactly the same score in every game- is this a coincidence or something with the scoring system.
2. As both of my teams only scored 1 goal is it possible to find out the goalscorer as a point of interest.

OOC: In answer to the questions from TGB
1.) Scorinators always produce random results based on rank, so it was most probably just a coincidence.
2.) Scorinators don't give the goalscorers, as you make it up. That's the whole point of producing an RP, so you can say who scored as well as who played etc. RPs can also give you a ranking bonus just like your roster. For more information, look at the stickie threads at the top of the forum.

Also a question from me, what were the tie-breakers for the groups as FC Dagnar United had the same number of points as the top 2, the H2H was the same, and if it went to GD the. They would go through.

Mixed Results from BGEN

BORING PARADISE- The Bloodbath Generation Sport Association sent two teams, the Ciudad Longanisa Pathogens and Ube Purple Yam FC, to Boring Paradise once more for the International FireStorm Cup, one of the few soccer events the country attends, putting much pressure on the two teams. Finally being broadcast on television after a dispute with organizers, 17% of the nation tuned in for the final two games of the group stages. The boys from CL did not dissapoint, getting a close 1-0 win after a goal from Ji-Hyun Park in the 76th minute. However, Ube Purple Yam FC ended their run early, with no wins or draws, losing to favorites FC Peeto 4-3, with a last-minute Polkopian goal dashing hopes for an OT victory. Facing The PCF Team in the round of 16, can the Pathogens start a streak of wins? Or will their journey just go one extra step before losing once more?

Team overview
The Red-and-White team that finished seventh in the National League and earned them a place in the IFSC II hails from the city of Safurung, on the island of Kangutsu (from which the team name was derived). It had to more or less renew the squad a few seasons ago, and this paved the way for a very young team to march into the KNL without any inhibitation - and with success. Every line has one (or two) experienced players, and all the new young players are in between these five pillars. On goal is Ordhara, 27 years old, who hasn't secured a spot on the NT yet, but tradition in Ko-oren is that keepers are at their best after their 30's. In defence, 3-22719 from Thaulandi is the 'pillar', and lets 2-92831, from the same country, and the central defender Kushad play at their best. In midfield, there is a smaller 2-1-2 formation, with Izanagi Izumo in the middle. The Talorenite, at 25 years one of the 'veterans' of the team, is the passing centre of the team, just in front of Susano Sanuki (who used to be one of the younger players of the NT) and Ryndajilsa, and just behind Nauprija and Jutunheim (the latter is from Arhoren). In front, 3-11721 completes the trio from Thaulandi, and provides a solid point in the attack, and Bjar Walkepi is there to do the running for the both of them. All these youngsters make the team the youngest average squad of the league and has earned them the nickname of 'schoolchildren'. They play their home matches at the Bridge Center in Safurung, Kangutsu, Ko-oren.

The Ciudad Longanisa Pathogens beat the PCF team 3-1 and Imperial Army FC 2-0 for a spot in the semi-finals. Facing Polkopian rivals FC Peeto tomorrow, the team is gearing up for a close match. Both teams are considered favorites for the title, with FCP having a slight advantage according to bookies. However, anything can happen, and the Pathogens are well on their way to the title.
