Like i said you can do if the charge is still there and intact but reactivitating is best left to folks who do it for a living unless if you don't mind losing fingers or possibly your head.

Guys, I'm not a mod and you don't have to listen to me but I don't know if it's kosher to be discussing how to make or reactivate bombing devices in the forum. :/

Reactivating a Hand Grenade is not to be done by people not trained to do it this as it can result in disememberment and Death. The Ignitionary device can actually damage the primary charge and cause premature detonation.

I have a three inch cannon and a mortar, which uses improvised shells. (read: soda cans full of petrol)

Oh i got the canon to fire a deformed bucket i shaped into a shell with a hammer and filled with black powder thing was Sweet!

Nearly ruined the canon though, its generally just firing black powder to make a boom, not shoot anything.

I about killed myself the first time used the mortar. Instead of shooting the shell, it shot burning gasoline, everywhere.

Everything is better with rockets. When in doubt strap some solid rocket boosters on and you're halfway to orbit. OR have a big boom. Win-Win Either way. The Shuttles Solid Rocket Bossters gave 3,100,000 lbf of thrust, (almost Twice what a Saturn V main Engine could do,) each.
