Resolution of the Year 2012: The Grand Finale

And so we've finally arrived at the end of this year's Resolution of the Year. This is the poll to end all polls and decide once and for all which was the greatest resolution in 2012.

It was a year of repeals, shitstorms, lulls, and crap, but we've pruned the weeds down to the following ten resolutions. One one will survive the final cull.

And that's it. It's all over. It's taken us a while, but we've finally gotten here. God knows we had to trawl through a good deal of shit to find the diamonds, but we did it. We've found the Resolution to Rule Them All.

Yes, the Clean Prostitute Act was the best resolution of all of last year with over 34% of votes cast preferring it to all others in the final. My own resolution, Habeas Corpus, came second. So goddamn it Flib. Goddamn it to hell.

REALIZING that constantly passing and repealing resolutions dealing with prostitution is a waste of the World Assembly’s time,

DECIDING to end the madness once and for all,

The World Assembly,

DECREES that the decision regarding whether or not to legalize prostitution shall be left to member nations to make within the confines of international law,

REQUIRES that prostitutes working in nations choosing to allow prostitution be regularly screened for sexually transmitted infections and further stipulates that any prostitutes who are diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection abstain from their work until their infection has been cured.
