Depends on weather you contract Castle for ammunition manufacturing or not. If you do a contract, I typically ignore the price, since it will vary by quantity over however many years you use the round. But contracting will generally insure better quality ammo, and also establishing a Franchise Company will give you better quality ammo for cheaper than shipping it. DPR for the 7x42mm round is 20,000,000 NSD.

30-06 round's full of...Mercury Fulmate? Was that it? What kind of damage would that do to your average Armored soldier?

Not a lot, about as much as a primer cap or two going off in your hand considering the small amount you could actually fit in a .30cal bullet.

You also don't want to be firing bullet containing fulminate of mercury from a high velocity rifle. there is a good chance that the shock of firing could set it off.

This actually was a concern with the jacobs rounds which were launched by a respectable 68 grain black powder charge

Because of server load issues, megathreads are capped at a 500 page limit. Since Mk3/4, it's been something of a small tradition that someone claims the next thread, and when the current thread is locked at 500, the new OP posts the fresh one.

I had number 5, Spree had number 6 and Trans has posted number 7, this iteration.
I believe Risen Britannia is still pining for #10, which at the current rate he may get to do in one year's time

But 30-rounders are availible, and there's a burst-fire setting the use of which in encouraged.
