The vast majority of power is supplied by your equivalent of Generation IV nuclear reactors. Most of them are Very-High-Temperature thermal reactors, but we are slowly phasing them out in favor of various fast-neutron reactors. Our ion barriers around our cities combined with the radiant energy grid and vast computer network gives us a massive energy requirement. For the time being, our reactors are one of the few things that can meet and exceed the demand.
