The ownership of televisions was a brief fad before our NeuroNet was fully completed. They were compact LCD devices that would uplink to a satellite dish on the top of a building. After the NeuroNet was finished, the functions of a television could be done online on a computer, or viewed in an Augmented Reality Interface anywhere in the city. These days, having a television is seen as trashy and a sign of someone of lower intellect and finances.
