Congratulations on the Hansbrough Turtles for winning the 8th BCCC tournament, in what was the third straight Final to go all 5 games. They become the second team from Yesopalitha to win the trophy, after the Irkan City Swarm won the 6th edition.

The entry limits for the 9th Champions Cup are as follows:
- The top 4 ranked associations (Yesopalitha, Darmen, Saugeais, Tyneala) will be eligible to send 4 teams.
- Associations ranked 5-15 (Ko-oren, Karditan, Civil Citizenry, Free South Califas, Zwangzug, Taeshan, Western Cuba, Western Borderlands, Falconfar, Sicoutimont, Icemark) will be able to enter 3 teams.
- Associations ranked 16 and below will be able to enter up to 2 teams.
- Special Consideration: Hansbrough Turtles are assured a spot in the First Proper Round as the reigning champions. If they fail to qualify for one of Yesopalitha's four places, it will replace the fourth-placed team.
Host bids will follow the same criteria as last season: entry must at least have a stadium name, capacity, and city. The Finals venue will be determined via a knockout vote style. Last place stadium in the round is dropped out, and at any time a stadium gets more than half of the votes, all voting ends and that stadium is determined to be the host. If no host bids are received, the Finals will take place at Stade de Saugeais in Montbenoit.
The deadline for entry into the 9th BCCC is tentatively set for January 4th, 2013.
