Introduction
Greetings!
This topic is IIWiki's official topic on the Nationstates forums, and any questions, comments, or concerns concerning the wiki should be posted here or on the site's discussion pages. Occasionally, this thread will be used by the II Wiki staff to post important announcements. For those not familiar with IIWiki, IIWiki is a rather new wiki dedicated to storing national information and facts about the in-character creations of posters from the NS Diplomacy forums. It was founded in 2011 by Solm after Milograd suggested that a new, active, RP-dedicated, in-character wiki be created to fill the void that was left by Wikistates and not filled by NSWiki. It, as of November of 2012, hosts over 2,000 articles. Anyone is welcome to use IIWiki regardless of what tech level they play, how long they have been on the site, how skilled they are as roleplayers, et cetera.
Our IRC channel is #IIWiki on the esper IRC network and we encourage anyone interested in the wiki to visit the channel. Hurricane Sandy caused problems with the site's host and these issues prompted us to switch hosts, but the wiki is finally back up and may be used again. Happy writing, and thank you.

• 11/27/12: IIWiki now has its own tag on NationStates!
• 11/4/12: Due to problems with the old host, most likely due to Hurricane Sandy, and their unresponsiveness, we have taken the initiative to rebuild IIwiki on a more dedicated host, which will enable us many more features and control as well. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, we have recreated the wiki from our own backup on Oct 15 (any edits in that 10 day span from then were not able to be transferred sadly), however, due to the images being saved in a different manner, we were not able to back them up, we will have to wait until the old host comes back online to recreate the images. Thank you for your patience.
• 11/7/12: II Wiki finally has an official thread on the Nationstates forum. It is a work in progress and will be updated to be more comprehensive and informative from time to time. Players of Nationstates and users of the wiki are encouraged to discuss topics pertaining to the wiki therein, though it is not meant to serve as a substitute to the wiki's discussion pages or IRC channel.
