I started the Player Info Submission Thread (which is, unsurprisingly, where you should submit your information for this thread) about a week ago in response to the stupendous inactivity of the old player info thread. After a week, there's been about 35 responses for the new one, so it seemed right to start compiling this info into the new (!) Player Info Thread, which you're now looking at.

Political Beliefs:
Abortion: No; except in cases when the child is the product of incest, when the life of the mother is threatened by the child being born or when the child has a disorder of some kind.
Affirmative Action: I'm completely opposed to affirmative action.
Aid (International): I don't believe the United States should be aiding other nations. I do, however, feel it's okay if we were to receive something in return, similar to quid pro quo.
Arms Trade: No; I am against this.
Death Penalty: I fully support the death penalty. I feel it should be applied to all felonies and that the list of felonies should be rewritten, so that it may include many more violations.
Drones: I think it's morally and practically acceptable for the government to use drones against enemy combatants. I don't feel that innocent civilians should be attacked if it can be avoided; however, I don't feel that our priorities should revolve around avoiding collateral damage.
Drugs: Yes, to legitimate, therapeutic use. No, otherwise.
Economic System: I take the Fascistic model of corporatism but not as far as the Pope.
Education: College should be private. K-12 can remain free for now.
Electoral College in USA Elections - Good? Bad? Needs reforming?: Yes; it may remain.
Environmentalism: I support environmentalism, but I feel that it should only be supported insofar as it allows progress.
Euthanasia: I'm against euthanasia, whether or not it is wanted by the potential recipient.
Evolution or Creation (or both)?: I believe in both. I believe that God created the world and humans. I feel evolution is a tool used by God to advance other animals.
Gay Marriage: I'm against same-sex marriages and unions and partnerships on all levels. The same goes for homosexuality in general.
Gun Control: I feel guns should be regulated and that background checks be ran on anyone and everyone, who wishes to buy a firearm. I also feel that they should all be cataloged with the information of the owner.
Immigration Policies: I feel the U.S. needs to adopt stricter immigration policies by, in essence, stopping immigration.
Income Tax: I support taxation, but I don't believe that certain agencies or functions should be subsidized by those taxes. (Exempli gratia, socialized medicine.) I support a so-called progressive tax rate. I don't like the word "progressive," but I support the idea of it.
Iran: I don't believe we should be there to instill a democracy. The only reason we should be there is to eliminate terrorists and promote national safety.
Israel/Palestine: I support the one and only legitimate state: Israel.
LGBTQ Rights: I'm against LGBT… rights fully and completely.
Philosophy: Fascism.
Political Party Affiliation: I don't identify completely with any American political organizations, but the closest organization, with which I identify myself, is the Constitution Party. Out of the two major parties, however, I identify with the GOP the best.
President Obama/American Policies: I support neither Obama nor most of his policies.
Prostitution: I'm entirely against prostitution. I feel any participants of prostitution, regardless of their role in this iniquity, should be condemned to death.
Religion: I support religion in general and Christianity in specific.
Social Security: I feel social security should be privatized.
The UN: I feel the U.S. should withdraw from the U.N. immediately and remove its headquarters from the territory of the U.S.

Religion: Should stay out of politics. It's not their job to govern the lives of people. It's the government's.

The UN: Needs to be stronger. It's a step in the right direction from the League of Nations, but the United Nations needs to increase in strength to have a stronger chance at improving human rights on a global scale.
Veganism/Vegetarianism: Personally am not. For other people, it's their choice.
War on Terror: Needs to be fought with drones rather than soldiers. Less risk of violations of human rights by men in uniform (and yes, I am aware that drones can miss), and less likely for anyone to put a black mark on the record of our armed forces. They deserve respect for defending the interests of the United States and its people, not scorn for just a few of its members.

Gun Control: I believe guns (including handguns) should be legal, but quite strictly regulated (ie. no [sub]machine-guns, only so many per person, safe storage, must know how to use them, psychiatric evaluation, etc.).
Immigration Policies: We should only permanently take in immigrants who will fill a skilled labour shortage (in the unlikely event that we get an unskilled labour shortage, I'd support a temporary guest worker programme), or have a plan (and the means) to set up a business, and we should encourage integration between immigrants and natives.
Income Tax: Progressive, but not too progressive and not too high.
Iran: The West should seek to isolate Iran (which I'll assume it probably is doing anyway). However, if intelligence ever suggests that Iran has decided to build, and is in the process of building, a nuclear weapon, then there needs to be a clear red line.
Israel/Palestine: I support a Palestinian state on (there or thereabouts) the borders proposed by Olmert a few years back (but no detached parts), with a passage between Gaza and the West Bank, and preferably in some kind of confederation with Jordan. However, it must recognise Israel, renounce all further territorial claims, and accept whatever 'right of return' offer Israel makes - and these pledges must be reflected in its actions.
LGBTQ Rights: Yes, I suppose.

Iran: Iranians have had 30+ years to get sick of wannabe theocrats. Trick is to help them in overthrowing the Islamic Republic without wrecking the whole thing. Oh, and there's an unsurprising amount of ignorance about Iran itself in discourse about Iran.
Israel/Palestine: The worst part of this is nobody cares about Palestinians. Personally, I'd like Israel to abandon its stupid 'Jewish and democratic state" and become a state for all its citizens instead of defining itself through the superiority of one ethnicity, but that probably won't happen.
LGBTQ Rights: Completely for.
Philosophy (what's your philosophical outlook?): Maximise happiness and minimise suffering for as many people as possible. Which is kind of hard to do in a neoliberal capitalist system.
Political Party Affiliation: UK-wise, I'm closest to the SNP and Greens, but I'm probably going to find myself forced to vote for the sellouts in Labour in case the Tories might win again. Stupid first past the post...
President Obama/American Policies: Obama has done some good things and some bad things, the latter mainly in foreign policy, but hey, at least we're rid of Bush. America as a whole, well, it should be more like Canada and Scandinavia. But then again, I generally say that the world would be better off the more it resembled Scandinavia.
Prostitution: Legal and regulated. Makes it easier to crack down on human rights abuses and forced prostitution, doesn't infringe on people's right to do what they want with their bodies.
Religion: Keep it the fuck away from the state, it's a private matter. Religious education should be voluntary, and education about a certain religion should only take place in a private institution. I wouldn't mind the idea of courses about the comparative study of religions, but they should still be private.
Social Security (Welfare): Welfare state for me. I like civilisation.
The UN: Needs reforms, and that's an understatement.

Drones: They are problematic. A useful tool of war, true, but they are morally problematic.
Drugs: Legalize, tax, and regulate marijuana, and loosen restrictions on others to do serious research into both positive and negative effects. Put a moratorium on criminal drug charges until more research has been done. If they (the illicit drugs) are as bad as people claim, then enforce the bans. If not, tax and regulate the other substances as well.
Economic System: abolish the private banks, replace it with a decentralized network of state owned, democratically controlled credit unions. Turn all corporations into worker or consumer owned cooperatives, with each store or factory or plant retaining a significant degree of autonomy.

Immigration Policies: We are a nation of immigrants. Immigration issues are extremely complicated- there is no one size fits all fix to it. Any insta-fix would ultimately be destructive, so care must be taken. I do believe that immigration restrictions should be simplified and loosened- after all, we permit the freeflow of capital- labor should be the same way.
Income Tax: We need to raise taxes (estate tax, capital gains tax, corporate income tax, and individual income tax) on the rich to generate revenue and cut taxes on the poor, including state and local sales tax whose primary burden is on the poor, to stimulate demand.
Iran: If we ignore them, they will go away.
Israel/Palestine: See also Iran. I am fully prepared to recognize both nations the day they recognize each other. Until then, they might as well be called the British Mandate of Canaan.
LGBTQ Rights: Support
Philosophy: In the debate between relativistic morality/reality and absolute morality/reality, I support the dialectical synthesis of the two.

Other information: I was a stand-up comedian once upon a time. But then I stopped finding things funny, and stopped finding stand-up enjoyable. So I stopped.

Abortion: I don't like abortion at all. Unfortunately it needs to be legal, because the consequences of banning it are ultimately worse.
Affirmative Action: Absolutely against.
Aid (International): For, provided the money isn't being used to prop up corrupt or dictatorial regimes.
Arms Trade: Against
Death Penalty: For, but only for recidivists. Everyone should have at least once chance to be rehabilitated. After that, they're a waste of society's time and money.
Drones: For
Drugs: Against. Except medicinal drugs obviously. They should be subsidised.
Economic System: Mixed-Market Capitalism
Education: Should be free for everyone, and of the same high quality. Nothing is more important than education - if you have to privatise healthcare, the police, the army, and scrap the welfare system, so be it. But not a cent should ever be dropped from the education budget. It's too important.
Electoral College in USA Elections - Good? Bad? Needs reforming?: Seems fine to me, but I'm not American and don't really get the whole 'federalism' thing.
Environmentalism: Moderately for. We need to conserve and protect our natural resources and the environment, but I'm not overly passionate on the subject.
Euthanasia: For

Immigration Policies: Need to be tightened. Immigrants should come either to fill a gap in the market, or else to create jobs. Instead we're just letting any old uneducated idiot from Thirdworldastan come in, undercut everyone else in the unskilled workers market, and ultimately causing a decline in our standard of living.
Income Tax: I think it needs to be flat, and if not that then certainly it needs to be simplified a lot.
Iran: Evil, disgusting theocratic regime. But then America shouldn't have been supporting the regime of the Shah before that. So the yanks have no one but themselves to blame for Iran.
Israel/Palestine: Two state solution.
LGBTQ Rights: For

Political Party Affiliation: Former member of the New Zealand Labour Party, left because it's gone from being the party of the working classes to being the party of angry feminazis, angry minorities and university graduates who have never worked an honest day in their lives. Currently politically neutral, will probably vote for John Key next year.
President Obama/American Policies: I try not to look at American politics. I have zero tolerance for stupid people, and American politics involves a lot of stupid people. I'm not a fan of Obama, but he's the least bad option. He certainly isn't left-wing as people claim he is - he's more right-wing than Richard Nixon.
Prostitution: For
Religion: Against. Well, okay, people should be free to believe what they want, so long as it doesn't negatively impact others.
Social Security (Welfare): For, although the welfare system needs to be modernised.
The UN: A for Effort, F for Results. The UN needs to be given broader powers. Much broader powers.
Veganism/Vegetarianism: I wouldn't eat as much meat as I do if it wasn't for vegetarians. While most vegetarians keep to themselves, the more evangelical ones annoy me so much that I eat extra meat to spite them.
War on Terror: I'm actually for it. Terrorism needs to be stopped. Now, the current methods being used to wage the war on terror aren't going to get us anywhere but getting rid of the Taliban and Saddam Hussein certainly isn't a bad thing. What is bad is the failure to create order and properly rebuild in Iraq and Afghanistan in the post invasion years
