Well, I knew they were psychotic, but it never really struck me how absolutely traumatic everything in this RP would be.

Wait, are you implying Crowley is the Hero? Are you mental? Wait, of course you are.
The RP is based around his development as a person, and most things that happen are the result of his action.
He's the protagonist. Lewis is likely the deuteragonist. Damien the threetagonist (I don't think there's an actual word for it). So on and so forth.

Jade spent years roaming around the country and leaving them in the dust if she needed to, constantly escapign everyone. -shrug- She's used to it, but if someone close to her leaves, she flips out. Yay, hypocrisy.

Lewis has had about equal development as Damien at this point. They're both co-deuteragonists. Once Lewis leaves, there will be only one.

Actually, reading through Ed/Will's mental dialogue, it seems to have done a number on his mental sanity. Same kind of goes for Ivy.
Ciel's just kind of like "okay whatever".

Somehow I doubt that equals to dealing with multidimensional megapocalyptic shit, but whatever, that's just me. Plus she's had one arc to get used to that, so again, whatever.

To be fair, Ciel's never really been part of "the group". She doesn't know anyone, and Elfen High's a damn big place.
I don't particularly care when I hear on the news that someone has been murdered downtown.
And what was Atlantis to her? She barely even fought. It was really just watching a bunch of assholes she doesn't know hitting other assholes.

I'm not even going to try to figure out how you arrived at that conclusion.
His development and actions drive the plot.
Think about it - he even fits the Hero's Journey. He's just some shithead occultist who makes friends with an older wizard (Fixban, who was basically Obi-Wan), is called to defeat Loki and the Fae with the help of his magic powers. Fixban's nixed by the enemy ("I will become more powerful than you ever imagined"), and he's begun his transformation.
With the abyss coming up, God help us all.

Actually, I think Crowley's the Supporting Leader, or perhaps the Hero of Another Story. Sure, the overall story is his, and his development and actions drive the plot, but the story doesn't revolve around him.
