:-I quite agree with it since the world is heating up & we need a quick solution
:-Might i suggest of using Hybrid Technology or Hydrogen Fuel Cells in our vehicles
:-Another law should be that companies that gives out huge sums of carbon should be fined or BETTER Bankrupt

ALARMED that some nations are not doing anything to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
BELIEVES that legislation must be urgently enacted to bring an end to Climate Change.
Hereby enacts the following,
(1) Mandates the shutdown of polluting energy source stations 15 years after the renewable energy plant of the nation's choice has been operation.
(2) Encourages governments to hand electricity industries to private investors to assist in the change over from polluting energy sources to renewable energy sources.
(3) This resolution does not prohibit public ownership of electricity industries.
(4) Encourages nations to set targets for emission cuts by the time that the polluting energy sources shut down.
(5) Gives the individual nations the right to choose which renewable energy source they would like to adopt.
(6) Encourages the disuse of fossil fuels.
(7) Establishes the World Assembly Renewable Energy Fund to assist nations in implementing renewable energy initiatives
Suggestions?

You are creating events that you cannot be sure are actually happening here in the NationStates world. How do you know that our climate is changing? My issues certainly aren't saying that. And why "planets?" We're all on the same planet, I believe. In RP we might not be, but gameplay-wise, yes, we are. No, the General Assembly does not apply to roleplaying.
If you're going to dictate events here in the world to us, there's a different forum for that.ALARMED that some nations are not doing anything to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
BELIEVES that legislation must be urgently enacted to bring an end to Climate Change.
How exactly do you know that climate change is happening here in NationStates? Once again, you're dictating events.Hereby enacts the following,
(1) Mandates the shutdown of polluting energy source stations 15 years after the renewable energy plant of the nation's choice has been operation.
I've got two words for this clause.
HELL NO.
If you're trying to absolutely demolish the ability of poorer nations to properly function, congratulations - this clause will do so quite effectively. Do you have any idea how detrimental to these nations it would be to take coal and oil away from them, while they cannot afford to supply their people with expensive and less reliable solar and wind electricity? They'll be out in the woods!
Would this also ban nuclear power?
No! This will absolutely not be happening!(2) Encourages governments to hand electricity industries to private investors to assist in the change over from polluting energy sources to renewable energy sources.
(3) This resolution does not prohibit public ownership of electricity industries.
(4) Encourages nations to set targets for emission cuts by the time that the polluting energy sources shut down.
You can encourage me to, but it don't mean I'm gonna do it.(6) Encourages the disuse of fossil fuels.
You've done more than just "encourage the disuse" of them. You've practiclly banned their use altogether. I can only see fossil fuels being used in vehicles after the passing of this resolution.(7) Establishes the World Assembly Renewable Energy Fund to assist nations in implementing renewable energy initiatives
"Fund?" I'm not going to be funding it.
Look, don't get me wrong - my nation actually does use renewable energy sources. In fact, we have an incredibly clean n' pristine environment. However, I'm not going to force this onto other nations. My nation's economy is doing rather well, and I have the money to pursue these interests - however, there are those that do not have this sort of money, and I'm not willing to force them to kill their economies and screw up the international economy because they should make their land pretty.
