Broadcasting issues have prevented the normal match day to match day coverage of Mytanar Top League football being aired to the world. This has meant that an end of season broadcast will be given, showing how the top league panned out - with the full, game by game coverage being resumed at a later date, to give a more in depth view then. Atletik Thessia secured their 13th Top League title, they will look to win the National Cup after this too. They continued their free-scoring attacking football, Snerik Oiskha being key in the centre of the park, behind the strikers etc. Atletik had won the league with three match days to go, although it had been long over before that. Their local rivals Olympic Thessia managed to finish 2nd, shocking a number of teams with bigger resources and bigger names. Olympic will probably not be able to repeat the feat, but the money they will gain from a Globe Cup campaign will be extremely valuable and could stand them in good stead to challenge for Globe Cup qualification consistently in the future.
1896 Ebor will not be pleased with their season, being edged out of even 2nd and not being able to challenge Atletik at the top. Their manager, Luca Bazarelli will be under pressure over the summer, certainly. Litala '93 round out the top four and will hope to improve on this next season. They have a good team, but we all knew it would take time for new players to gel into their style of play, a leaky defence didn't help them this season, though.
The two East Midland giants, Energia-Yaderny Miago and CDSA Decraa will both be disappointed with their inability to break into the top four, one of them probably should, but nobody was expecting Olympic Thessia to do so well. CDSA will be the happier of the two, though, and will hope to add a few good players to a good squad over the summer and maybe challenge for international competitions qualification next season.
Dinamo Esca, Dtykiga and FC Ararat Severyan will all be happy with their seasons. FC Ararat in particular, after their appalling start to the season - they will be simply pleased that they consolidated their position in the top-flight and finished comfortably in mid-table. Dinamo Esca will be pleased, performing slightly above expectations. Dtykiga's early season form helped them no end as they tailed off a bit towards the end of the season but again, finished comfortably mid-table. Dtykiga will be looking to add players to try and maintain the form they managed in the early stages of the season, maybe add some more squad players who can come in when injuries hit the squad. They will also be looking to keep hold of the mercurial striker Iivari Kaitanen.
Liria Prizren performed well below expectations, big money spent on good young strikers, which was obvious, they scored the fourth highest amount of goals in the top-flight. They just simply lost too many games by narrow margins. The fans at the Westfalenstadion will be baying for blood if no success is delivered this season, so expect Mike Duerr to be out of a job if Liria fail to win the National Cup. The problem could simply have been too many new players in one squad, although it could be for a myriad of other reasons. Zenit Esca managed to stay up, they'll be pleased with that. Lok. Ostrova will be delighted with their season, staying up fairly comfortably in the end, Zivko Marinovic being the catalyst for their great season. They will hope to keep the big man and consolidate their squad for another fight next season.
Torpedo Vershina narrowly stayed up, a 0-0 draw on the last day against relegation rivals Spartak Makarska mattered none, they had ensured their position in the Top League by Match Day 29. Spartak Makarska, Fk Arsika and Pakhtakor Trunca will be playing Second Division football next season, with big names like Yaromir Uspensky and Nils Ingebregtsen already looking for moves away from their home town clubs.
