RMA 290 Jetwind

Postby Moorburgh » Wed Sep 26, 2012 11:01 pm

Image
Image
RMA 290Jetwind

The benchmark Jetwind Family’s largest member – the RM 290 – offers airline customers the best seat-mile costs of any single-aisle aircraft and seating capacities comparable to that of a widebody jetliner.
Image
Standard JetSeating setup

This aircraft holds a stretched fuselage with an overall distance of 44.51 meters, along with an extended operating range of up to 9,000 nautical miles while carrying a maximum passenger load. Like each member in RM Aircrafts’ best-selling JETWIND’S Family of jetliners, the RM 290 offers the lowest fuel burn, emissions and noise footprint in its course of study.

The RM 290 typically accommodates 200 passengers in a two-class configuration (16 in first year and 169 in economy) – while offering unbeatable economics in high-density seating (with up to 220 passengers) for charter and low-cost operators. The matching-engine RM 290 can be powered by Turbofan RMA-B11
While passengers benefit from the RM 290’s state-of-the-art cabin design, airlines profit from the unique operational flexibility of RM Aircrafts’ single-aisle aircraft – with the option to offer wider seats and enhanced comfort; a markedly wider aisle for fast boarding and easier cabin movement; and even a hybrid layout. Overall passenger comfort is further heightened by the RM 290’s optional in-flight entertainment systems.

Image
Jet-Syook IFE System

The JETWIND’S Family’s wide fuselage also offers unmatched cargo capability for operators. Its four members are the only single-aisle aircraft offering containerised cargo, with the RM 290 capable of carrying up to 10 standard LD3-46W containers in the lower deck holds – enabling interlining without special ground handling equipment.

RMA 1000 Zestwind

Postby Moorburgh » Thu Sep 27, 2012 3:30 am

Image
MercerCloud Airways RMA-1000

The RMA 1000 Zestwind is a long-range wide-body double, twin-engine jet airliner manufactured by RM Aircrafts. It is the world's largest twinjet and has a capability of over 300 passengers, with a scope of 5,235 to 9,380 nautical miles (9,695 to 17,370 km), depending on model. Usually referred to as the "Zesty", its distinguishing characteristics include the largest-diameter turbofan engines of any aircraft, six wheels on each main landing gear, a circular fuselage cross-section and a blade-shaped tail cone.

Produced in consultation with major airlines, the RMA 1000 Zestwind was designed to replace older wide-body airliners and bridge the capability difference between the RMA 290’s. As RM Aircrafts first fly-by-wire airliner, it has computer-mediated controls; it is likewise the first completely computer-designed commercial aircraft.

The RMA 1000 offers a flying experience no other aircraft in the sky can fit, and redefines the meaning of comfort for all passengers – whether they are premium customers in first and business class, or leisure travellers in the economy cabin.

RM aircraft has gone to great lengths to reach long-haul flying aboard the RMA 1000 feel more natural for its passengers – with wider seats, more personal storage, better head room and wider steps and aisles.

The cabin air is recycled every three transactions to prevent the atmosphere fresh, while natural light is provided by 220 cabin windows. Four high-level air outlets – as opposed to the industry criterion of two – helps passengers feel refreshed, both during and after the flight.

JIMPOS

Postby Moorburgh » Thu Sep 27, 2012 7:02 am

Image

Jet Integrated Missile Protection System JIMPOS™
Manpad is a threat to aircraft regardless fighter or civilian aircraft. Attacks using manpad on civilian aircraft, especially near the airport on landing and takeoff operations are rampant at the moment. MANPADS have the prospective to produce mayhem and cause injury and human death. The consequence may be a multi-million loss of resources and transport-related revenues with likely knock-on effects for national economies. JIMPOS™ is an effective self-defense measure that enables you to significantly trim down and counter this threat, protect your capital assets, and ultimately retain customer trust.

Concept
The concept behind JIMPOS™ is that the Missile Approach Warning sensors detect UV-light emitted from the missile plume and process the data received to determine the missile’s Angle of Arrival.
Image
Flare dispanser

An optimal time is computed for the Countermeasures dispensing of decoys and this is relayed by the Control Unit to the dispenser to initiate a dispense sequence predefined by a range of parameters, including the number of decoys and time intervals within the sequence.

Upon getting into the free air stream, the decoy is opened up by aerodynamic forces acting along a built-in opening device. JIMPOS™ further distinguishes itself by virtue of an inherent capacity to cut through up to eight missiles launched simultaneously.

Fully autonomous, JIMPOS™ takes effective action against incoming threats without any interaction from the operator.
Highest degree of functional safety

A leading agency in electronic-countermeasure technology for more than fifty years, RM Aircrafts is a synonym for systems that are characterized by reliability, easy integration and outstanding execution. In continuing with this tradition, RM Aircrafts has developed a unique system geared specifically to fit the demands and necessities of the civil air industry to counter the menace posed by MANPADS.

System Design
JIMPOS™ comprises four main parts:
• The JJMAW-300 (JIMPOS Missile Approach Warning system)
• The Electronic Controller Unit (ECU)
• The JDF5 Civil Dispenser System, and
• The CIV-IR Decoys
Image
Sensor Design

A simple Control & Display panel mounted in the cockpit is used by the crew to power, arm and test the system.
Incorporating four JMAW-300 UV sensors and the MAW controller, the Missile Approach Warning system provides speed, accurate sensing and tracking data of approaching missiles.

The system can even be complemented with an additional sensor to obtain hemispherical coverage.
The JDF5 is an electro-mechanical dispenser using CIV-IR decoys to deceive incoming threats.
Manufactured by the RM Aircrafts Tech Pve Ltd, the decoys consist of a new type of pyrophoric decoy material that burns at a lower temperature than conventional pyrotechnic flares, thus achieving a larger radiating area to attain the proper radiation intensity. Located inside a sealed container, the decoys are opened and activated once dispensed and subjected to a sufficient air stream.

All RM Aircrafts is equipped with JIMPOS™ system

RMA 50 Citywind

Postby Moorburgh » Wed Oct 03, 2012 4:45 am

Image

RMA 50 Citywind
RMA 50 Citywindis largely based on the successful RMA passenger jet, the RMA 99. The greatest change in RMA 50 Citywind is the added fuel tanks in the lower deck cargo hold space, nearly doubling the jet's range, which also boasts a lavish interior, divided into up to 5 sections including an optional bedroom, washroom with running water, and a walk-in cargo area at the rear. Another selling point is the larger fuselage cross-section than other comparable business jets

RMA 550 Starwind

Postby Moorburgh » Thu Oct 04, 2012 10:24 pm

Image

RMA 550 Starwind Medium to Long range aircraft

The RMA 550 Starwind is a four-engine medium-to-long-range narrowbody airliner with a capacity of maximum 220 passengers produced by the Moorburgh manufacturer RM Aircraft. The four-engine RMA 550 features one of the quietest cabins in the sky – a key element for relaxing long-haul operations – as well as the best economy in its class, which makes this jetliner an airline favorite. The RMA 550 seats 220 passengers in a typical three-class cabin configuration. In addition, state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment can be contained into the seats or mounted on partitions below overhead stowage areas

The RMA 550 demonstrates outstanding environmental efficiencies, including low fuel cut and reduced engine emissions, while its reduced noise signature comfortably meets international standards.

Below the main deck, the RMA 550’s large cargo holds provide voluminous capacity for additional gross. With large cargo doors as basic fit, they take industry-standard LD3 containers in side-by-side loading. The RMA 550’s forward, hold accommodates six 96-inch pallets or 18 LD3 containers, while the aft hold accepts 14 LD3s or a mix of three 96-inch pallets and two 88-inch pallets.
