"Well thanks for volunteering to go first. Why are you here?"
A conga line of Spec Ops soldiers suddenly goes past the door behind him.

"Can everyone shut up for a minute so we can sort this out, before I lose it and kill you all?... Thank you. Here, let's go around the circle, everyone say a little about their life story, then we end with Mon if she wants to say something by then, alright? Who wants to go first?"

"I'm a four dimensional being that normally exists in phase space... the place between universes and dimensions... who was sucked into this universe when one of our experiments went horribly wrong." She almost added "I like pina coladas and getting lost in the rain" but thought better of it. "That's why the physics here don't effect me," she finished rather softly.

Bone Fort wrote:"The earliest memory I have is from about three and a half weeks ago. I woke up on a conveyor belt, about to be dumped into a furnace, with nothing but the clothes on my back, same ones I wear now. Beside me were Totenkopf and Herr Doktor, who were just as informed as I was: no memory, only fuzziness. We managed to escape, it was some sort of lab in the middle of nowhere in Bone Fort, we go on the run for a little bit, dodge some assassins, survive the wastelands of the Friedhof, blah, blah, blah. Week later, we meet up with the other guys, they were in the same situation, just woke up the day before about to die in an incinerator, no memory, just vague ideas of who they were.
We found a bunker and made it our home. It was a strange place, physics didn't apply very much there. You'd know this as my current room. See, after killing another team of assassins, we decide to disappear to somewhere else. Dok, he figures out how to detach the whole friggin' bunker from reality and re-anchor it somewhere else, and that just happened to be this apartment. We got here about a week before everyone else showed up. We were scared they'd find us again, so that's why we've been so hostile and suspicious of everyone. It's why we kidnapped the new girl, to test her story, see if she was tellin' the truth.
But anyway, right before everyone showed up, we did some digging, found out some interesting stuff about ourselves. Dok tested some samples of our cells to see what he could find, and boy was that eye opening. Like our age, he found it out. Want to guess how old I am?"

"Yes and no. See I'm actually forty-two... days old. I look like I'm in my twenties... ok, maybe not look, biologically I'm in my twenties, but chronologically I'm barely over a month old. So's Totenkopf and Herr Doktor, us three were the first batch. The others are even younger then as, about thirty-one days old, they were the second batch. We're not even 1!... He also found all sorts of things in our cells and such. We do some more digging, we find out the truth. Turns out some military nutcases went rogue and tried to make super soldiers that were immune to supernatural phenomenon and magic, to act as elite hunters to catch other supernatural creatures and magic users and bring them in for study, or kill them, something like that. They spliced some mythical creatures DNA and all sorts of supernatural stuff with some soldier's DNA to make super clones or something, even cybernetically enhanced us a little. Thus, we have increased resistance to odd stuff, which is how I managed to resist Mon's anomaly earlier. So that's why we attack the supernatural residents and try to study them, it's what we were made for... Any questions?"

It may take a while, since I'm not in that state anymore, but I could make you an artifact from one of my anomalies. That's one of the good things about them, and they're scientific wonders! Like the Slug, formed by the Fruit Punch anomaly. The negative qualities of this artifact, such as you are less resilient to burns and acidic compounds, are compensated by the fact that it heightens the coagulation quality of blood. It's not often that one runs into such an artifact, and they pay well for it too." She explained.

"No thanks, that's alright. I appreciate the gesture, but you owe us nothing. Besides, because of our nature, it'd have no affect on us and be useless, and we aren't strapped for cash. You should keep it for yourself, it'd do you more good. And as for you..."
He turned around to face NVE.
"No particular reason. I thought it'd be funny.... Oh, and also, you keep trying to take over the world."
