It is entimated over 3.2 Billion European dollars worth of damage has been caused, with most of the nation's factories, military bases, and diplomats in Zagrab the country may never recover. Although the Venezue controlled island of Ingramistan is now free once again.

OPERATION WILD WEASEL
81 NM off the coast of former territories of Venezue

After several days of preparation, the Red House initiated OPERATION WILD WEASEL which aims to reclaim the former lands of Venezue and reestablish it as a colony of Martilia. Around 3 Armies were sent to capture this teared nation from the hands of rebels who are living on the rubble of this once peaceful nation. The SMAF sent a strength of approximately 400,000 troops which is divided into three armies (107th Army, 127th Army, 89th Army) with a support from the 1087th Airborne Division, two naval task forces (Task Force 18 and 19) with aircraft carriers, and also seven air forces (three bombing air forces, two fighter air forces, and one transport and one chemical cleaning air force) for aerial support.

The Martilian Expeditionary Force to Venezue (or Venezuean Martilian Expeditionary Force abbreviated as either VMAF or MAF-V) landed on the southwestern coastline of the former Venezue with the 1087th Airborne Division parachuted off the nearest city of the southwestern coast of Venezue. The force encountered light resistance forces usually poorly-armed rebel groups/aggressive scavengers. The VMAF/MAF-V is lead by the following commanders, Field Marshall Igor Tatsukov for the Ground Offensive, Fleet Admiral Sacha Roulov, and Air Field Marshall Vladimir Tuytiyenko.

The VMAF forces was able to establish a beachhead, and a HQ on an unidentified city on the southwest of Venezue (the commanders on the frontlines named the city, Kalkonov) and also the engineering unit of the expeditionary force was able to build a small runway and small naval base with improvements and upgrades being made by the engineering unit. Also, due to the radioactive materials still present on the city, the troops we're forced to wear masks for their safety, but the engineering unit of VMAF is starting to clean the city in order to start reconstruction soon also and turn the deadly wastelands of this city into an economic and capital of the future region of Martilia. Currently, the VMAF are heading towards the former capital of Venezue and they have a long way to get there, and as they get closer to the capital, the more resistance they are going to encounter.

It was four days after Martilian forces landed in the remains of Venezue when the first Imerian troops arrived. On the morning 6.23 a single helicopter landed in the most northern parts of the former nation and dropped of a squad of 8 men. It was almost 5 hours later half of the invasion force landed when any real expansion began, but it was fast and in the end of the day the most northern provinces were official under Imerian control and a few local warlords had been overthrown and some had joined the Imerian army there were however still heavy fighting against warlords and angry civilians.

It was first on the second day food distribution and repair began which resulted in fewer insurrections by angry civilians. Also the public execution of a former warlord who had executed 10 civilians on unjust bases further started to convince the civilians that the occupation forces had their best interest in mind.

The temporary Imeriatan military government was concerned by the continued communistic expansion in the south. Especially as stopping further spread of communism was one of the reasons for the liberation of Venezue. Lord Anders of the royal engineering corps suggested that no action were to be taken which were meet by a choral of disapproval. So the debate raged forth and back until the decision were made that the force would be divided in three forces; one would advance as fast as they could and only engage hostiles if they had no choice to until they arrived at Martilian controlled territory, while the second would advance slowly to secure and pacify the newly captured ground and bring it under Imeriatan rule as the last mostly consisting of Venezuean recruits and conscripts would stay behind and continue to guard and govern the already conquered parts of the former nation.

As the royal high command were informed of more nations intentions to annex the spoils of Venezuea a grim silent fell over the room as everybody knew that the royal guard could not emerge victorious from a such massive war.
“We should pull back as we have no real claims other that strength of arms, something we knew that we are unable to uphold for long” Lord Ervius of the royal navy stated.
This was meet by protests from about half of the assembled and support from the rest, patriotic zeal as “we are undefeatable” met with self-doubting comments like “we don´t have the man power or resources for a prolonged conflict”. As the chaos soon erupted between the debating noblemen a calm and steady voice rang across the room.

It was an Imeriatan listen post on the newly North Venezue/ Tyrannian Venezue border that were the first in the very young nation to receive the message. But it was immediately sent to the high command and the temporary military governor.

“If it is the former leader of the old communistic Venezue then it might complicate things for us, especially if some of the allies to the former regime decides to support them reclaim North Venezue, I do therefore suggest that we organize a small strike team to take out this man whoever he is, if it is nothing then we might get our hands on some classified intelligence from the former regime we might use to our advantage!” lord Adam auf Welssbürg of the royal high command stated which were meet with an approving mumble “so who support this action?” he went on and was answered with a loud “aye” from the other nobles in the room. “Well then I shall make the preparations then” the lord said as he left the room and the rest returned to planning the fortification of the young nation’s borders.

Almost 20 minutes later a jet transporter plane left an airfield within it were two squads of 20 special elite units from the Imerian High guard who were chatting idly sleeping our going through some last minutes checks as they left for the former capital building.

Its been a week since the capture of Venezuean territory was accomplish. The entire southern part of Venezue is under Communist control, while the north is under the administration of Old Tyrannia and Imeriata. The former Venezue is now cut into half, the Southern Venezue is now under the government of Martilia and renaming the territory as Grifziek, in honor of the last ruler of Venezue, General Grif. In order to maintain peace, the Soviet People's Assembly with the consent from the Council of People's Commissar and from the Red House has ordered that a diplomatic talks between Imeriata/Old Tyrannia and Martilia will be initiated in order to restore the peace on the region.

Since the entire southern part of Venezue is under Martilia, the forces was doubled on the region, and additional defense troops have been stationed. Anti-aircraft, anti-ship and emplacement systems was constructed along the coasts, borders and inside Grifziek (Southern Venezue) in case of a foreign invasion would be imminent. Also, a wall is planning to be built by the VMAFs in order to ease tension between Northern Venezue and Southern Venezue administrators. Also, Venezuean refugees we're rescued on some areas on the Southern Venezuean territories. The military administrators of the region quickly get these poor people to safety and their nationalities were quickly changed to Martilia in order to received benefits and be protected by the Martilian personnel.

The collapse of the stalinist system implemented in Venezue has both a good and a bad side to it. The good side is that stalinism, a system considered by us to be an afront to communist ideals, is now gone from another country. The bad part is that, as almost expectable in these times, our communist brothers were attacked by those desiring to exploit the temporary weakness in Venezue.However they were stopped by the brave soldiers of the United Socialist States of Martilia, who have succeded in saving a significant part of Venezue from imperialist agression.

Now they will not be standing alone in their efforts. Even as this message has been typed up, the six Osean armies that form the 1st Belorussian Front have been sent to the territory presently being protected by our Martilian comrades. They will be escorted there and supported in their mission by our Mediterranean Fleet. They be be carrying out peacekeeping mission and will act as a detterent to the idea of anyone launching further attacks. Naturally, any attacks on our forces will be percieved as an act of war against the SSRO and will be responded to.

We also note that we said in our prior message that we were sending our troops into "the territory presently being protected by our Martilian comrades". Also, considering how this was started, we do not wish to be reliant only on your word for assurance that the region protected by the USSM, which is also known as the Grifziek Region will not come under further attack. Instead it only seems appropriate that we do all in our power to protect the Grifziek Region, which our troop deployment will do.
