That sums up the typical response, yes.

The impact is somewhat less jarring for me. Maybe because I was used to the diluted and tamer crazyness of APS.

Well. I'm off to see if exercising more will make me less lethargic, sore, tired and angry, because that makes perfect sense. How could it not?

At least I get a Gatorade.

But yeah, I meant for him to be the cocky arsehole. Somebody might as well do it

APS is a semi-serious Elfen High with different monsters.

And a giant fucking finale that might not happen until Christmas at this rate.

Name: Izanagi Hachiman
Age (Actual): 600
Age (Appears): 17
Race: Cursed Human/Monkey hybrid
Appearance (Picture or good description): 1 2 I would edit a tail in there, but eh. Kyoko. Natsu

Powergrid/Powers:
Izanagi (teacher):
  1. Intelligence: 3
  2. Strength: 6
  3. Speed: 6
  4. Durability: 5
  5. Fighting Skills: 7
  6. Magic: 6

    Kyoko (student):
  7. Intelligence: 2
  8. Strength: 5
  9. Speed: 7
  10. Durability: 4
  11. Fighting Skills: 5
  12. Magic: 4

    Natsu (student):
  13. Intelligence: 2
  14. Strength: 7
  15. Speed: 4
  16. Durability: 7
  17. Fighting Skills: 4
  18. Magic: 3

Level 6 Vibration Manipulation: Izanagi has the ability to vibrate his body or surround parts and surround parts of his body with vibrations. Using this, he can vibrate his fists enough to increase his attack power considerably as well as his speed.

Level 3
Weaknesses (Optional, but you could get more points if you do this): Pretty much long distance attacks in general. In most cases the best he can do is dodge them and wait for an opening, however seeing as he isn't perfect, this won't work in his favor due to the fact that the longer he waits, the higher the chance that said attack will land a hit on him.
Personality: Calm and cheerful, Izanagi is very lighthearted and patient. He prefers to wait before acting, although he has no problem fighting should the situation require it. He often makes jokes that are ill placed and inappropriate for the situation at hand. His sense of humor is warped in the sense that he considers almost everything to be a joke, which some would argue leads to a psychotic mentality within Izanagi.

Despite all of this, he is quite peaceful and insightful. This doesn't mean he's necessarily very intelligent. He's never really focused on becoming intelligent. He cares more about having the experience and knowledge to provide support and an informed opinion should the need arise.
History:

Izanagi was born in Japan roughly 600 years years old (give or take a few years). From the age of 5, eh showed promise in warfare. His parents, whom were already rather wealthy, forced him to strive to become a samurai in order to make the name of their family well known and respected (possibly feared as well, if necessary). It only took him a couple of years to actually go from an obscure newcomer to a well known warrior. At the age of 25, he became a general, one of the youngest at the time. Only a year after though, he died in battle.

Upon dying, Izanagi didn't really care about going to Hell. It wasn't like he had anything to live for. After all, all he did was fight. It wasn't exactly a meaningful life. He also never expected to go to a Heaven type of place. His experience in Hell was...unique to say the least. At first, he lived in the "bad" part of Hell. Left and right, dead humans were slaughtered, captured into slavery, etc. Izanagi however just fought them off, refusing to become someone's lunch or personal pole dancer.

After some time "living" in Hell, two demons escorted him to the Gates of Hell, and just... let him go. Although, they had sadistic grins on their faces as the Gates closed... like they knew something was going to happen to him. Anyway, the first thing he did was search for his family. Upon finding them, traveling from Hokkaido to Honshu, they told him about how they had brought him back from the dead. They traveled to Pakistan, where they found a Genie lamp. Although the Genie told them that the Rules of the Lamp forbid messing with love, killing others, or bringing others back from the dead, they wished for Izanagi's return.

He didn't pay much attention to the fact that his family broke the Rules of the Lamp... until he died again. After entering Hell for the second time, he was immediately ejected back into the world of the living, with the appearance of his 17 year old self. Upon dying again, it happened once more. This continued until by coincidence, he found another Genie Lamp. He questioned the Genie about what happens when someone is brought back from the dead, and was told that the person is forever cursed. Izanagi tried to wish for mortality (which the Genie laughed it considering no person had ever done such a thing), but was denied. Punishments for breaking the Rules were eternal.

Izanagi's first life being reincarnated was probably his most favorite. He ended up in China, which allowed him to learn several forms of Shaolin Kung Fu. His life was also pretty laid back and overall very fun. His second favorite was probably his 6th reincarnation. Somehow, he became a pimp in New York. He has no clue how, nor did he really care. His least favorite? Probably North Korea. That one probably doesn't need an explanation. If it does, go back to school, please.

For some reason, his latest reincarnation fucked up. His body was reincarnated in South America, and was mixed with that of a monkey (probably a Spider Monkey). So now he's half monkey, half human, and cursed. If he could end his life for good, he would.
RP Sample: My most recent.

"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

You could just read the recaps for Arcs 1 and 2.

And don't try to understand 3. Some things went terribly wrong and so some bits are missing.
