Annabel City.Annabel City formed itself in 1987,originally as a small coal mining town.Three years later,the coal supply massively dropped in the area.The city quickly turned into a bustling city full of business and attractions.By 2002,it was ranked as the 5th Most Populous US city,and 3rd by area.Four years later,Mayor Paul Guyy decided he would make history,he told his architects,"I want you to make us huge.Huger than any city in the US.Or in the world." After 2 more years of construction,they did it.Annabel City was the largest city in the world,as big as New York City and Chicago combined.In 2009,a massive influx of citizens rolled into the city,increasing the population from 10 million,to a whopping 26,000,000.Not only did this make it the Most Populous in the USA,it also made the most rapid population increase in history.16 million in one year.It was a mirror of heaven,it was the place you'd always want to be....until 2013.In March 2013,several people came down with a horrible flu and Respiratory problems.In June,the heat of the days seemed to reflect on the infection,as it spread considerably.The Downtown area of Annabel City became highly infected,to such a degree that it had to be lockdown.The infection did have a small amount of time to spread to the Northern area of the town.There was,however,not a large amount of infected in the Uptown,but the infection is slowly spreading...
The Infection
The Normal Infected individual has an obscenely ugly growth on the face,and is aggressive when near.Some are very quick,while some are slow and groggy.Some that have been severely inflicted by the infection can mutate to a beast,with large arms,and as tall as 10 feet to 14 feet.One is to consider to not completely confront an Infected person unless you know that there aren't a very large number near by.The Infection has been said to actually spawn more infected individuals.If in combat(hand to hand) with a Normal Infected,there are known to attempt to grab you,and will attempt to bite the back of the neck,or major blood routes.There can punch,and will also kick as well.
Annabel City
Annabel City is a large scale city.Think of,as said in the main text,NYC and Chicago together.The Downtown area is massively infected with The Infection,while the Northern Suburbs are infected,but on a much smaller scale.Annabel City is basically shut off from the rest of the world.The only people who get in are National Guard and FEMA,and it is extremely difficult to get out.The Northern side of the city is widely watched by soldiers,and it is a very hard life to live.The Southern part is considered a Nightmarish wasteland,the neglect evident and The Infection adding to it.People still live in those parts,however.If living in Downtown,it is good to have a weapon.
National Guard and FEMA
The National Guard and FEMA came in one hour after the town was shut down.They regulate just about everything,and set up and blockade separating Uptown and Downtown.There is a low presence in Downtown,but a high in Uptown.There will need to be a couple FEMA/NTLGU charrie in this RP.The men/women guarding normally do not allow residents to enter Downtown,but,if they're that crazy/serious,the soldiers will normally allow them in,assuming that they will die.
The Scientists
The Scientists.They came over to attempt to make up a cure for this.Progress has been slow,and painful.These scientists are are the only citizens fully allowed to enter Downtown from Uptown.

Bio:Nelson was born in Buffalo,NY.He had grown accustomed to city life,and in 2002,when Annabel City expanded,he decided to move there.He lived a great life in the city,by 2013,he was the best known Arms Shop Owner in the Downtown parts.In June,when the infection multiplied,his shop was invaded by the Infected.He fought his way to it,and got several weapons before the Infected completely broke through.As he got to Uptown,the military had already built a barricade.He got what he had and went back to his apartment and prepared to go through the massive downtown area,searching....searching.

Bio:Darrell was born 5 miles outside of the would be Annabel City.He had an extremely great childhood.At 18,he was accepted to Pittsburgh,and was elated.Although,one year later,he started seeing a therapist.The University Therapist said that Darrell's mental health was beginning to diminish,and could have to be admitted into a mental hospital in the future.In his fourth year at the college,in 2008,he was confirmed with a mental disease,although it was unknown what kind.He kept stating his wanting to kill people,and thoughts of suicide.He graduated college however,but was told he would most likely need to be put in a Mental Hospital by Late 2012.In December 2012,his doctor told him that he was going to be put in a Mental institute.But,in April 2013,he contracted the Infection,and was not put in a Mental,but a regular hospital.The Annabel Hospital,located in Downtown Annabel City,was ravaged by the Infection,and Darrell was infused with the infection,resulting in massive bacteria buildup .He could create weapons out of his arms,and could consume individuals,and be able to morph to look like the consumed person.The Infection reached his brain,which made him love the Infection,and also further put a strain on his mental health.
