Specifics on which each of those links goes to. You can't expect to throw that up every time someone says "Ron Paul" and have them sift through each individual post trying to figure out what specifically you were addressing.

I can't edit the post, the thread is locked, and has been for some time. They aren't links to every single mention of Paul, but to the good, detailed explanations of his policies, statements, and actions, and the explanations of why they are so atrocious.

Carter was a bad President. He really wasn't a liberal and didn't attempt any grand liberal legislation like Clinton or Obama, and combined with a string of bad luck, had a bumbling foreign policy.

Carter did deregulate the American beer industry, allowing a resurgence of Micro brews and home brews. That presents an alternative to piss water American generally call beer.

Been meaning to sift through it all anyway:

One stop shop for all my "Paul is awful" needs:
Ron Paul is no Friend to Progressives
Racism, support of DOMA, PMCs, and against the Civil Rights Act
More racism, Paul "approved every line" of racist newsletters
even MORE racism: "95% of African American men in DC are semi-criminal or entirely criminal"
Still more racism from Paul
Paul's stances from the man himself: anti-aborton, privatize energy, end NHS
We The People Act
Paul on anti-sodomy laws: states have the power to regulate sex
Paul's 2012 Republican Primary shenanigans
Only states had power to abolish slavery
No right to privacy, and even more. 2 posts
"US should declare bankruptcy"
Paul acknowledges and defends racist remarks
Ron Paul's ranking on "Secular Score Card."
Why the gold standard is a bad idea
more on State's Rights
Why defaulting would be a very bad thing

Wikkiwallana: if you think I've mis-summarized any of these, let me know.

You didn't mischaracterize them, but you left out a few:
Epic take down by TCT.
TCT highlights how inconsistent Paul actually is.
Paul is opposed to various important Constitutional Amendments.
Paul actively opposes marriage equality.
Why defaulting is an objectively awful idea.
Highlights of Paul's bad ideas that he's tried to put into action.
More nuttery by Paul.
We the People Act, plus a more concise list of aforementioned bad ideas and nuttery.
Paul cares less about the Constitution than getting his personal morals enforced on others; We the People again; anti marriage equality again; health pseudoscience endorsement.
Paul's own words on We the People Act.

Edit: new entries:
Hypocrisy on right to privacy and actions contrary to the Constitution.
Voting for the AUMF and other hypocrisy.
Letters of Marque and why they suck.
Highlight of flip-flops and contradictions found via OnTheIssues.
Connections to racist groups.

it reminds me of an anecdotes a Senator supposedly told once about LBJ's one-on-one ability to persuade people.

A major bill was coming up for vote, and LBJ wanted to speak to the Senator (while LBJ was still majority leader). When told of this, the Senator supposedly told his aides to keep LBJ away from him at all costs. Why? The Senator was going to vote against LBJ's recommendation, and he knew the minute he was alone in the room with LBJ, he would start to cave.

It's not surprising. Remember what Paul supporters did back in the 2008 election when they hosted their own separate convention?

It's good for us progressives, but I cannot help but feeling sorry for them.

No. Neoconservatives can have rather good ideas, especially in moderation, and I'd like to have them around to balance out libertarians and paleoconservatives.
