Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

The fire from that flame-skirmish cooked my refrigerator, ruining my tuna. Should I start forwarding phone numbers and URLs that I think are relevant (and the bill for the new refrigerator)?

On second thought, I found something of much greater importance.

You mean Bramwell? The kid that verbally harassed a paralyzed, confused, and disoriented kid with multiple personalities?

I should remember to clearly mark the opportunities better [+3 Knowledge (My Reference Pools) to the person that catches the reference]. Maybe I should word this differently.

Now there should be no confusing the person being referenced for Bramwell.

I still don't know who you're talking about, but I now assume it's from a movie/comic of some sort.

Conservatism does not equate to religious zealotry.
The zealots you speak of (in the USA, I presume) don't even hold true to conservative values, which preaches progressive policies applied at a safe and gradual rate, while retaining traditional supports. Seeing as the zealots in the USA want the nation to "rediscover" itself, or something like that, they arguing for a regression of liberal policies. Conservatism does not say liberal policies should be removed from society, it merely says that they should be included gradually. The zealots you speak of are merely that: zealots.

I do like the joke that Bieber is a sith though, since the bar looks like a red lightsaber. A lightsaber with a really tiny hilt.

The following is an application on behalf of AETEN II, who can't post the whole thing himself due to technical difficulties:

Name: Tiberius Aurelius/Richard Cooper
Gender: Male
Age: Is actually 2,296, biologically 35
Nationality: Originally Roman, currently American
Height: 5'11
Weight: 197 Lb
Hair: Blond
Eyes: A dark dull green
Costume: Not so much of a costume, but he wears his own handmade bullet proof vest that uses tech he's seen over his numerous lives.
Abilities: Immortality- when he dies, natural or not, his cells remain alive and break down his corpse into a mushy blob- from which a new younger body is made over a decade or so (longer if the corpse was damaged/destroyed and they need to replicate). After a decade a young boy (about 13) is grown from the blob with the memories of the previous lives intact, the body however looks radically different- sometimes even another race. He also is exceptionally aware of his surroundings- able to tell how a person will throw a punch by their motions, notice an assasin due too an increase it temperature, etc. He's like Sherlock Holmes on bigger steroids. It's also a negative in that it makes him nutty, he gets more insane as he ages in each life as he pluges into paranoia. (E.G. He thinks there's a guy in his closet because mold just raised the temp by a degree.) This is part of the reason why he never makes it past sixty.
Subject: Survival Class
Bio: Tiberius was born to a rather powerful Roman senator during the middle of the Roman Republic in the year 283 B.C.. He then went to war throughout the era and gained the recognition of the senate (including his father) as a Senior Centurion in a Legionnaire Maniple that survived many battles without a single loss. After his career as a soldier Tiberius campaigned for office and was elected to senate, and then learned that without war comes the insanity of his increased senses.

I'll try and get my own post in the IC up some time tonight, but since Scott's injury's relegated him to the subs bench it's probably not going o be much more than him going "OMG what's going on???/?"

Considering how bulky bullet-proof armor has been up until the gangster vests came along, I guess it would look more like Ned Kelly's phloughboard ballistic suit crossed with a curiass, myeonje baegab, and WWI German infantry armor that has a literal kevlar vest covering it [to ensure one looks like a gentlemanly immortal gangster (speaking of that and my need for a list) in combat].

For the sake of the incomming joke, Sherlock Holmes had an opium addiction, not steroid addict! Batman, however... Wait a minute. He is old enough to have started up a few bank accounts. He would have watched his parents die at a biologically young age. Give him exceptional intelligence or Lucious Fox and Alfred Pennyworth, and we will have a Roman Batman on our hands!

Hey, I'd like to put forward an application too.
As I'm interested, I've already read the majority of the pages, but if someone could gave me a very brief overlook and if IC some teacher would guide my character, I would be very grateful if that were possible...

Name: William Dewesne
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Nationality: English (British)
Height: 1.75
Weight: 64 kg
Hair: Black
Eyes: Black!
Costume (if any): None, although he tends to be dress in tuxedo
Abilities: He has the ability to create living things from nothing. This ability completly exhausts him, especially when he creates several beings in a short time... More "complex" beings also cost more energy (e.g. creating an army of ants is very easy, whilst creating a hoard of tigers would be more demanding
Alignment: Not sure yet, probably heroes
Brief Bio:

William discovered his powers only during the start of the war, when vampires attacked his family estate in North-England. Drawing from his passion for history and his powers, William conjured up some 200 18th century British Redcoats to fend off the vampires. This made him lose conciousness for several days. When he awoke, William was saved by the interference of the remaining Redcoats and the actual British Army. Needless to say, this experience left a traumatizing impression on William. Pushed by his father and eventually forced to enter the Academy. William, who always was a bit socially awkward, holds the academy in no high regard. Besides he is haunted by his continuous paranoia, which has already lead to several incidents (such as the summoning of ten German WW1 soldiers to storm the Ladies' Bathroom in the local cinema)...

Aeten's character is accepted, though a bulletproof vest based on older technology wouldn't be as good as a newer one, so I'm not exactly sure why the character would choose to wear that.

Liege, being able to create life from nothing on such a large scale would be overpowered, tone it down a bit and choose one of the three alignments, and I'll accept the character.

As usual I got carried away by my own imaginations. Please, do forgive me sir...
As alignment I'll chose hero than.
The Point Being, I'm very bad at defining borders. With that 200 men, I meant extreme circumstances which gravely exhausted my character.I tend also to think that very few 18th century soldiers can withstand the superior strength and speed of vampires. But Do you have any suggestions, where I should draw the line?

Wait, if he can only create biological matter, then how would the Redcoats fight without muskets or bayonets? This is becomming the "How does the Terminator go back in time when only biological matter can go back?" question all over again.

The Point Being, I'm very bad at defining borders. With that 200 men, I meant extreme circumstances which gravely exhausted my character.I tend also to think that very few 18th century soldiers can withstand the superior strength and speed of vampires. Wait, if he can only create biological matter, then how would the Redcoats fight without muskets or bayonets? This is becomming the "How does the Terminator go back in time when only biological matter can go back?" question all over again.

Oh dear, It looks like I overstated these abilities a bit. What about "the ability to create a limited amount of soldiers out of nothing". How better equipped or how numerous they are, the more exhausted my character becomes?

No need to apologize, really.

As for limits, I'd say that being able to create actual fully sapient people would be pushing it in any case, especially people who actually have some sort of weapons as well. As long as you keep it to animals, and don't go overboard with the number of them, it wouldn't be bad. Keep in mind that the students are attending the school to learn more about their powers, so knowing everything about how to use their powers at the start would rather defeat the purpose if it.

How 'bout creating living animals with no minds? It'd explain why it exhausts him (Having to move as many instead of only as one) and it's not really that overpowered.

I didn't meant actually sapient, more the meatshield like thing. But if you want that I stick to animals, than so be it.
