Sopho Kortadze was ready to deliver an excelent show that stood as the début of the Sakhoveli music scene in the international arena. After a very tough national final, she had to achieve a very high position for the nation, for Mariko (the runner-up) and for herself. Right after Jigi's very interesting act, it was her turn. The stage would turn into Kubistvis for some minutes, in just a few seconds.

Sopho was dressed like this, which turns out to be the traditional dress of Kubistvis, given its navy heritage of centuries. She had her hair like this, and she would be joined by two girls on her both sides, dressed in the same way, but without the hat and a different hair colour. 30 extras were going to be used all around the stage to play as Kubistvis pedestrians, dressed in a very summer-y/spring-y mood.

The petals of the stage were not coloured... They projected images of the typical stone platforms of the Kubistvis' streets. And there were palm tree-props all around the stage. The movable background screen was projecting typical buildings, so the main stage looked like this or this (it changes between both throughout the song). The pool in the center has been covered, so it has 'disappeared'. The fire islands are going to be off all the time, so the sand around them (and more sand specially put for this act) has been put around the main stage... So it looks like a giant beach around everything. The smaller stage is like the inside of a building, apparently... And a horizontal ramp connects it with the main stage. The stage will be fully bright all the time... To inspire a sunny day.

It was the time, and Sopho and her two back singers were standing in the "inside of the building" (the small adjacent stage) with a pose like this and black sunglasses on. The song was started by the 'pedestrians' yelling out...

A very stylized "hey" of Sopho showed off her typical 'voice games' when singing. She started to move her hips (with her singers) like in the video. Then, they started singing...

The chorus kicked in, in just a milisecond. Sopho was smiling a lot, and looked very happy, glamorous and sensual (not slutty) to the cameras; the chorus was in Aranese, as this language is regarded in Sakhovelo as sophisticated...

In this little interval, Sopho and her singers went to the main stage with the help of the ramp, which meant they "were out on the street". They started to walk around (with the camera always following them) greeting the pedestrians (who were acting casually, as in a city like Kubistvis)...
Oh yeah....

Again, the chorus came in very quickly, but in this moment, the three girls made a rather complicated dance move... The girl on the right took Sopho by her legs; the girl on the left took her by her torso, and they rose her up... So that she looked like if she was laid somewhere. After the end of the chorus, they put her back on her feet...

A random pedestrian took Sopho by her hand, and she started to make a little fast dance with him (like in the video) as she and her singers made a little vocal improvisation, and a trumpet was being played live by one of the pedestrians. The dance (very 40s-50s) was actually a strapad, a typical dance from Kubistvis. It had spins and lifts and everything... The crowd was very excited watching it.

She kept dancing as her singers made the chorus again...

Then, the strapad ended with a last spin of Sopho, and then they (she and her singers) went walking glamorously to the staircase, and started to descend it as they sang the next stranza, where they mentioned the kavlas, a typical Sakhoveli snack. Their moves were like in the video (but instead of using chairs, they were using the steps of the staircase)
Oh, yeah...

The ladies started to take off their jackets and hat to look a bit like this (without the buttons and the black lines), since they were now on the beach; and then they walked to the very front. At the same time, the pedestrians yelled out again...

Using that space of the front, there was a flash-mob-like-choreography (like in the video, but less militarish, if you know what I mean) for the bridge...

Then, the three girls ran to the right catwalk and that little spiral whilst singing the chorus. Sopho had her voice enough warmed up to achieve amazingly good notes...

Around 5 pedestrians took her by her feet and made her stand up in their hands, so basically... she was standing in the very top. Then, they started to walk by the left catwalk, still holding her as she sang. The procession began, and all the other 25 pedestrians and the 2 back singers were following the leading group of 5 pedestrians and Sopho. They would walk by the left catwalk, towards the entrance/exit of the stage...

Then, Sopho started a long note with lots of 'voice games' that was long enough to let the back singers sing...

They had already entered backstage when the song was about to end. They turned Sopho around, she sent a kiss to the crowd and then the doors were shut (that's the sound of the end).

Everyone started to applaude and from backstage (but still with her audio on) Sopho yelled out...

15. NORTHERN SUNRISE ISLANDS
SUPERSHOCKER - ALL RIGHT


Instead of the expected squad of Supershocker, the crowd finds NSI's national team player and also Center Midfielder of the Ayeville Pikachus, Tyler Corona. On the petals, there are the instruments from the members of the band as Tyler, wearing the jersey of his football team, the one who named the band as well, black pants and shoes black as well.
Tyler: Now, many of you must be thinking? What is that guy doing here? I just came here to tell you that is the time for the gamers to enter in the house! Time for Luke, Skylar, Matt, Júlia, Ai and Jason get here and show you why they were the finalists of NSI! From Amy City to Chernokya, welcome... Suuupeeeershocker!


As the screen ran to one side, the entering area of the scene revealed Jason, with the same jersey of Tyler, jeans and a strange black thingy on his back that seemed to be a cape. Behind him the brothers Skylar and Matt appeared, with both using yellow shirts, black shorts and black shoes and for last, Júlia, wearing a long black and yellow dress, Ai, with a long black coat, a long black skirt, a yellow shirt behindhe the coat, black sandals and a Jolteon hat and Luke, wearing a blue shirt with white circles on the lower tip of the shirt, gray pants and a Marill mask, carrying a soccer ball.

Tyler gave the Microphone to Luke, meanwhile Jason gave the ball to Luke, who carried it to the left catwalk, staying behind of the screen as it returned back to its original position. The members went to their correct positions as Skylar and Matt started the song on their guitars (0:00 ~ 0:11). Ai, with a configurated keyboard to sound a little like a violine starts to participate as Luke starts to sing with the microphone and Jason participates throughtout the part (0:11 ~ 0:32).

Júlia starts her part as well, while swinging around with her dress as Luke continues (0:32~0:52).

Matt and Skylar play louder, giving Ai a break. (0:32~1:18)

A solo is started by Matt, Skylar and Jason, as they play almost like if they were one, coordinatedly, combining the battery with the guitars. (1:38 ~ 1:51). They are then joined by Ai and Júlia. (1:51 ~ 2:10). After that period, they return to normal as Luke, who was dancing around at the set returns to sing. (2:10 ~ 2:32)

Tyler appears at the end stage, starting to make kick-ups with the soccer ball he got earlier. Meanwhile, the lights on that area started to shine in black and yellow as well. (2:32 ~ 2:56)

Luke starts to dance as he continues to sing, even the other members start to do something. Tyler is still keep-uping. The fountain starts to flow upside, though in a small manner. (2:56 ~ 3:18)

The group returns to a "solo" of battery and guitar. (3:18 ~ 3:28) After that the group take a higher tone for small time, while Luke returns. (3:28 ~ 3:40).

As the members start to tone the volume down, eventually stopping it, Jason leaves his battery, turning backwards for the people, revealing that the cape was just a flag.

Tyler ends up kicking the ball to the hands of Jason, to quickly return to the main set as the player joins the rest of the band, giving their thanks to the people that are watching.

Stories of Love - Olivia Londer
Based on; Nothing's Real But Love


Olivia was relatively unknown to the world, and that was a good thing. Not many of the viewers would have had the chance to make a judgement, and not many of the international viewers would no what to expect. She was nervous, but excitable at the same time. Her dress fitted in with the fairtytale like setting of the stage, that was dark predominantly but lit by the screen behind her as if the lights were stars.

As the spotlight shone on her, she began singing as an acoustic guitarist accompanied her upon stage. She held the microphone and floated elegantly across the stage as she sang the high notes that her song required. As the verse went on, the eventually ended up at the start of the very long catwalk, readying herself to go into the chorus.

In chapter one we met,
In the rain’s where I met you.
Trying to stay dry,
And that’s what you tried to.
So you took pen to paper, and began to write,
But then fiction isn’t always true...


As the whole tempo picked up and the the backing track complete with all the instruments kicked in, the whole place erupted. The fire island lit up with a small flame and her passion and enthusiasm for her song began to shine through to the people bot hat home and in the audience. The music dropped as she sang the final part of the final line.

She now switched to the French part of the song, and continued on down the runway, constantly keeping her eyes on the camera. This was the first Albertasbian entry to have a language other than English in, and so it was a risk - but she was willing to take the risk and hoped the added language would lead to extra votes from other nations.

She twirled as she reached the end of the catwalk and once again the music picked up and the fire islands lit up. It created a dazzling effect as her face appeared to glow as she sang.

She jumped onto the end stage at the catwalk and began to follow the camera around as it spun around her and she sung directly to the people at home, connecting with them as her eyes remained fixed on the camera lens.

The attitude in her voice came through as she sang the next mini-verse, and spun to sing it directly to the audience and used her hands to portray the message of this part of the song. She had a slight gruffness to her tone at this point, and hoped this would suit the viewers opinions at home.

Holding you down ‘til you stay.
But what if you don’t come back?
I need love!


The music began to fade slightly and Olivia walked to the front of the mini stage she had journeyed onto, singing to both the audience at home and the audience in the arena. It was so great to get the reception she was getting; after all she was performing in a neighbouring country!

The music completely cut out, as did the lighting and just a sole spotlight shone on her. She sang the final chorus a capella, really delivering home the message of her song.

Carla begins the song standing on top of the stairs in front of the lake. There is a dancer on top of each raised lift, two guys on the front two, and three girls (who also serve as background singers) on the back three. They all swing in a 60's-esque fashion.

The fountain erupts when she sings the word "love" for the first time and the dancers form lines, still dancing in 60's-esque moves.

The fountain once again erupts as the dancers unfold a long piece of silk about the height of a person.

Suddenly, as the music changes to an arabian-like sound, the lights dim and the fountain is replaced by a column of fire. The male dancers stretch the silk in front of Carla so that only her head can be seen. The female dancers duck behind her and change her costume.

The male dancer to her left rips the silk and runs to the back of the stage, revealing that Carla is now wearing Lederhosen. She begins to yodel:

She rips the lederhosen off, revealing a mid-thigh length skirt and sleeveless shirt.

The music changes to a latin rhythm and the dancers conga behind her.

Ay, mi amor...
Love, hahaha!


The music returns to normal and the dancers resume their 60's-like dance.

OOC Notes:
You've never experienced tedious until you've spent 3 hours making a song in full carmadese rhyme!

My OCD had difficulty with the fact that the english rap didn't rhyme, so I tried to make it do so with some not-so-direct translations. Oddly enough, I had no problem with the fact that the english song dosen't rhyme.




The entire stage is black, with no lights at all, and absolutely nothing able to be seen. Somewhere offstage, wind chimes play, and the front half, but the front half only, is bathed in a pale blue light. The back half of the stage is as dark as ever. A blue line appears on the screen, and the wind chimes rise in pitch and intensity. A blue spotlight shines onto the stage, right next to the still lake, to reveal a crumpled heap wearing a frilly blue dress. As the fountain begins to bubble, the form rises, and one can see the striking, girlish figure of Carmadin pop star Pí Þāmjœt as she stands to her full height. The screens look like flowing water, as Pí Þāmjœt rises, then, abruptly, sits near the fountain. At the same time, the wind chimes stop, and the melody begins, soft and gentle. Pí Þāmjœt has her back to the fountain, facing the audience, one leg crossed over the other, as she begins her performance

By now, Pí Þāmjœt rises to her feet as she finishes her first verse, tears already evident in her eyes as she launches into her chorus. The lights swirl around the stage, bathing Pí Þāmjœt in blue light. However, the back half of the stage is still completely dark, with no lights at all.

The fountain is bubbling rapidly now, and Pí Þāmjœt walks around the stage, bathed in the pale blue spotlight, as well as crisscrossing lasers. The screens are still showing a water theme, as well as subtitles in Chenkoryan and English for the non-Carmadese crowd. Pí Þāmjœt's dress billows out around her as the music intensifies, she twirls, and the dress falls off her, falling on the ground in a heap, revealing a pale blue bodysuit underneath. As she begins the second verse, the lights become less fluid, and her bodysuit lights up with thousands of LED lights, giving her a shimmering quality. The back half of the stage remains pitch-dark.

As her voice rises in both volume and pitch on the last line of this verse, her hand goes up, and she falls, more crumples, onto the ground near the fountain, similar to where she started the song. The blue lights and lasers calm down, and the lights on her bodysuit wink off, giving the illusion of defeat. The back half of the stage remains black, and she drags herself to the now-still lake as the fountain shuts off, singing the chorus as she does so.

As she sings the last chorus line, she reaches for the lake, as if to wash her hands. However, the moment her hands touch the water, it begins to slowly drain away. She backs up, and the stages seems to rotate as she does so (though, of course, it's really the spotlights moving around the stage), sending the half of the stage lit up in blue to the back, the spotlights lighting it slowly fading out. The pitch-black half of the stage seems to come around to the front, as it does so, it turns slowly red, revealing Xāgå and four members of his dance crew, laying on their stomachs (they would have had to inch across as the spotlights changed). As the two "halves" complete their rotation, the front half of the stage now lit in red with Xāgå, and Pí Þāmjœt is nowhere to be seen, as the back half of the stage is pitch-dark once again. Xāgå wears a flame-accented black suit, and as the transition completes, and a flame leaps up in the middle of the stage, he and his crew leap up. Once their feet touch the stage, the pyrotechnics on the fire islands come to life, and the screens show flames and fire, as Xāgå begins to tell his side in rap:

This entire time, for the rap, Xāgå's dance crew have been break dancing, flipping and twirling around him as he dances in place while singing. Now, all of them stand, heads lowered, as the stage begins to "rotate" again, changing the split from horizontal to vertical, and, as the blue spotlights come on again, coloring half the stage blue, the other red, the pyrotechnics die down a little, resembling candle flames more than the vicious fire they were during Xāgå's rap. Pí Þāmjœt stands, alone, in the middle of the blue half. She is back in her blue dress, with no sign at all of the lit-up bodysuit. Xāgå's crew seems to vanish, really, they are lifted down by the elevators, and the lake in the middle fills up, with the flame still flickering inside it. The catwalk is lit in blue, but the fire islands are still going strong. The two artists, standing on stage together, do not seem to notice one another, though they walk within a foot of each other as they sing a final chorus. It's like there is an invisible wall seperating them, which is, of course, the desired effect. They begin the last chorus:

As the music stops, the two stand facing each other, hands on the nonexistent wall that had been created. As the audience roars, they hold the pose, and flashbulbs explode around the arena. Then, when the applause dies down, they break character, the spotlights cease their seperation of the stage, and shine upward, and the two break to oppisite sides of the stage, shaking hands and fist-bumping the crowd. Finally, they rise, standing in the middle of the stage, thanking the people and the organizers

Stratonice: We are here doing the coverage of the World Hit Festival 9, I'm Stratonice Sataurage and I'm here with Hanno Charaibalos.
Hanno: Yeah, they've roped me into doing the World Hit Festival too...

Hanno: That was spectacular! It showed us a history of Chenkoryan music in no more than what, 10 minutes?
Stratonice: Yeah, it started off slow, and did drag a bit...
Hanno: Do you just hate Chenkoryan's? You seem to have nothing positive to say about them.
Stratonice: Yes I do! Whoever designed the stage did a very good job!
Hanno: The stage was designed by Chenkoryans, notably Mademoiselle, and built by EUSketch.
Stratonice: Oh, and Mademoiselle is half Euskal too isn't she... but good job Chenkoryans!
Hanno: You're not fooling anyone, anyway, excellent start!

Valena was sitting in green room very excited. She was talking with her crew members and with other contestants. She was very excited,but she was confident in herself because she trained a lot. Her number was 20 and she walked to the stage after the Carmadin entry. She was looking at the audience when the stage was black and told to herself: 'I can do it.' The lights turned on and the performance was about to start.

Audience was noisy and was cheering Valena. Camera was firstly showing the whole stage and the background and it was slowly moving from the right to the left. The stage and the background were showing beautiful night sky filled with clouds and moon. Some of the lights were on and were blue,evoking the feeling of a beautiful night sky combined with the amazing background. Camera was then showing a cellist,who played the cello. Camera was showing the cellist for a second,but then switched to show Valena's face. She started to sing. She was singing well and camera was slowly moving from the right to the left of Valena,who was looking at the camera and singing. Camera started to move faster,and it circled around Valena who was wearing a beautiful blue dress. Camera was now showing left side of the beautiful stage and the cellist who played the cello passionately.

Camera was now showing the whole stage,which looked amazing,but then it switched to and was showing all the performers. Three back singers were dancing in the rythm of the song. A ship passed through the beautiful clouds on the background and the audience was cheering it. Camera was now showing Valena and back singers form the left side,while they sang perfectly,but then it switched showing only Valena and her arm,which she slowly put from her heart down on the end of the refrain.

Camera was moving from left to the right of the stage,passing by a guitarist,who played well and then it came to Valena,who sang very well and put her arm showing at camera,like she was talking the lyrics of the song to her love. Camera was moving to the right,until it slowly switched showing the cellist for a second and then again slowly switching but now showing Valena. Camera now showed the cellist and guitarist,which played well and their music,although very different form each other,blended perfectly into the song. Camera was now above the performers,showing the stage from left side and descending slowly while showing the performers.

Valena sang well,while the camera was showing her and the back singers from left side,but then it slowly switched and now it was showing the whole stage. A beautiful dolphin suddenly jumped over the clouds and snowflakes started to slowly fall on the performers. The audience was amazed. Camera was now showing the whole stage from the air and was descending to the performers. Snowflakes were still falling all the performers,and with the stage and background,it all looked perfect.

Camera was now showing Valena,who made two steps foward and was singing beautifully and passionetly. Camera was now going to from the right to the left side of the stage and made a circle around Valena fastly,while she was singing powerfully. Camera was showing Valena for few seconds,but then switched showing the whole stage which was looking amazing. The background was showing beautfiul clouds and a moon,as well as the stage. Combined with the snowflakes which were slowly falling on the performers and Valena's powerful voice,it was perfect. Camera showed Valena,but then switched showing the whole stage. Snowflakes were fading away,becoming very rare and then totally dissappearing. Valena sang very strongly,but also faultlessly and her voice was amazing. As the snowflakes dissapeared,so did the moon which hided behind the clouds and then the sun slowly rose up,showing and simbolizing a new dawn,a new love and better times.

As the song ended,Valena gave a kiss to the audience which cheered her very much and she said: ''Thank you! We love you!''

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM BLOODBATH GENERATION

The crowd was still yelling for Made of Hair when Jigi Pishkibibi left the green room. When he appeared in the field of view of the crowd, everyone started to shout enthusiastically, while laughing about the crazy things Jigi did while walking up the stage. He was touching his fake breasts, acting like he was a very sexy supermodel. When Jigi and his crew arrived at the stage, everything went dark for the Bloodbath Generation postcard.

BLOODBATH GENERATION POSTCARD

Jigi Pishkibibi's act was awarded with loud shouting from the crowd, and a lot of laughing, because in the eyes of some, this was the worst act in the history of WHF, and in the eyes of some others, it was absolutely fantastic. Would Bloodbath Generation finally get a reasonable results? Next up was Sakhovelo, which did get a less loud cheer as Bloodbath Generation, because Sopho wasn't really a revealing personality.

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM SAKHOVELO

Sopho Kortadze and her dancers were kind of doing an act on their way to the stage. They walked like supermodels, and at the end of the catwalk, they all did a pose. They did that because a lot of things had to be done for their act with the stage, for example sand had to be moved and everything. Then they changed their pose and just walked like usual people. Sopho smiled into the cameras, and then watched the postcard for her nation.

SAKHOVELO POSTCARD

Sopho did get a lot louder cheer than she did get before her act.The people had enjoyed this act, it was real entertainment, with good singing and a good song. Sopho also looked satisfied, while she was thanking the crowd in different languages. She walked down the stairs to the catwalk and left the stage again, together with her dancers. Immediately people from the backstage crew walked up the stage to clean everything.

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM NORTHERN SUNRISE ISLANDS

After Sakhovelo, an unknown country, came another unknown country; the Northern Sunrise Islands. The members of Supershocker were filmed while walking up the stage, but the cameras left (apparently) very known football player in NSI Tyler Corona as a surprise. The members of Supershocker were talking with each other and laughing, and didn't really notice the cameras. They walked up the stage, and their postcard started.

NORTHERN SUNRISE ISLANDS POSTCARD

Northern Sunrise Islands did get a mediocre cheer, and some people didn't even clap for it. Although the band described theirselves as indie rock, which is a genre Chenkoryans love, they left a lot of Chenkoryans unimpressed. The loudest cheer came from a corner of the arena where people were waving flags of an unknown nation that wasn't participating in this WHF at all. The cameras went to the green room to film the next act.

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM ARTSAKHESTAN

A quite lood cheer was there for Artsakhestan. Not because the nation of Artsakhestan was extremely loved in Chenkorya, but with the WHF fans 'Barev, Arev' was one of the favourites for the victory, but then again, fans are usually not right, because in WHF9, the fan favourites were Phoenigetuzstha, Valcluse and Gaituzstha, and all of them bombed that year. Anyway, Sofi (WV winner too!) walked up the stage smiling. It was time for Artsakhestan.

ARTSAKHESTAN POSTCARD

Sofi had put on a very good show with a catchy song, so that was rewarded with lots of cheers from all the people in the crowd. This could really pick up some points from different nations, especially from those in the Fledging Region. The fans (lonely housewives when female, gays when male, like in Eurovision) loved ethno-pop, and this was ethno-pop. Sofi shouted thank you, and then walked off the stage, hoping for another victory. She smiled into the cameras and made a hand gesture which meaned 'vote for me!'.

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM ALBERTASBY

Of course Chenkorya did get the loudest cheer, and nobody would get a louder cheer too, but Albertasby came very close. Of course there were lots of Albertasbians in the crowd, but the loudest cheers came from the Chenkoryans. Olivia Londer had scored a monster hit with her song Stories of Love in Chenkorya, and it was probably the first WHF song that didn't come from Chenkorya to become such a huge hit. Most of the WHF winners had been played one or two times at the radio (Totó wasn't even played a single time!). But Olivia Londer already had a monster hit. Olivia walked up the stage wearing a beautiful dress, looking serious, but with a very happy look in her eyes.

ALBERTASBY POSTCARD

People had high expectations, but this surpassed them all. Olivia had done an amazing performance, and lots of tweets said it was out-of-this-world. Olivia looked very satisfied too. She froliced back to the green room, where Pauline from Made of Hair was sitting. Apparently the girls from the Chenkoryan delegation had gone to Albertasby's green room, and the men from Albertasby's delegation had gone to Chenkorya's green room. Olivia smiled to the cameras one more time and waved, then the next act came.

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM NEW WARWICK

Another love or hate entry came from the nation of New Warwick. Most of the people had never heard about New Warwick, and their entry was bashed by lots of fans. But also a lot of fans adored it. In WHFiC in Beign this year, she did get an amazing chear for her vocal prestations. Carla Rorke walked up the stage on her own, because the dancers would be lifted up later. Carla shouted "HELLO!" in the mic before her postcard started.

NEW WARWICK POSTCARD

Carla's entry was awarded quite big applause, and Carla was obviously flattered by it. She did still stand at the stage for some seconds looking around her while smiling cutely, and then walked off, together with her dancers. Instead of walking down the catwalk, she stood next to her dancers, because she also wanted to go backstage with those cool lifts. Next up was Carmadin.

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM CARMADIN

The two Carmadese artists, whose names could only be pronounced by Carmadese people actually, came out of the green room, waving a little Carmadese flag and a little Rushmore flag. Nobody was really yelling for their song, because it wasn't extremely popular with fans, but most of the people were yelling for the nation of Carmadin, which was really popular all around the world, but especially in Chenkorya. If the Chenkoryans liked the song enough, it could get high points from Chenkorya. The two artists walked up the stage.

CARMADIN POSTCARD

Xāgå and Pí Þāmjœt left the stage while looking very satisfied with their song. It had been a very nice experience for them, and they hoped they could really have a good placing at Carmadin's début. The crowd shouted once again for Carmadin, but the yells soon became softer when they left the field of view and the cameras filmed Valena from Crolacia.

BEFORE THE ENTRY FROM CROLACIA

Valena in her beautiful blue dress walks up the stage while smiling from ear to ear, which is something the previous contestant from Crolacia could not do. The song is also really liked by fans. Valena looks into the cameras and already tells the people to vote for her. Their postcard was about a very poor city in Chenkorya with a 90% black population (which is usually a sign of poverty in Chenkorya) but with a very special canal.

Valena did get a really loud applause from the crowd, and she walked back to the green room while trying to dance in her big blue dress. Other stuff is deleted from the stage for the next act.

Cirila Boris, stop. We asked Pauline from Made of Hair to go around the backstage area, and test the some other artist's knowledge about our nation Chenkorya in the "Big Chenkorya Quiz"! Have fun!




Video material from the backstage area was shown, when suddenly Pauline appeared. On the background you could hear Albertasby's Olivia Londer rehearsing. "Hello everyone! I'm Pauline, from Made of Hair. I've been asked to test some people here around me, well, the artists actually, some questions about Chenkorya and all, so well, I'll do that! I don't get paid but well... Anyway, Olivia Londer from Albertasby is rehearsing right now, she's my friend! I'm going to ask her to join my quiz, when she comes off the stage and has sung her absolutely amazing song, I push everyone away from her, and I'll probably ask the easiest question ever. Anyway, there she comes! Pauline waved at the camera, and ran to Olivia, actually pushing away some people.

"Oliviaaaaaaaaa!" Pauline said smiling.
"Pauline!" Olivia laughed.
"I've been asked to invite some people to join the Big Chenkorya Quiz! Do you wanna join?"
"The what?"
"A quiz about Chenkorya, with a winner and all. Olivia, are you joining us?" Pauline asked.
"Of course I am!"
"That's great! You should know a lot about us, I mean, you're Albertasbian! We have to find Rami Weiner now! Who's that, actually?"
"I don't know, the man from Hagasvyo, I think."
"I don't know anything about Hagasvyo, but I suppose they're in the green room! Let's go to the green room Liv!" Pauline smiled and took Olivia by the hand, while running a bit, and after some running walking again.
"Would that be Hagasvyo's flag, Pauline?" Olivia asked.
"Yes, I think so!" Pauline left Olivia and ran to the part of the green room where the Hagasvyo delegation was watching Rami's rehearsal, probably for the 20th time or something. "Are you Rami?" Pauline asked.
"Yes, I am!" Rami Weiner answered.
"Then you're the man I have to speak! Erm, the organizers asked me to do some quiz game about Chenkorya, and they want you to join! Do you come with me and Olivia?"
"Of course, wait, I eat my sandwich first!"
"That's okay, you can go to the main hall of the backstage area when you're ready, wait for us." And Pauline walked back to Olivia and sighed. "Okay, we now have to find Thoams Altier from Astrolinium. He's the next one joining our quiz."
Everything was now shown double-quick, the sounds were double-quick as well, so you couldn't understand them. You could see though that they were now in the main hall of the backstage area. Pauline was standing in the middle, and in a row were now Olivia Londer, Rami Weiner, Thomas Altier, Tina Yipsils and Matt Nick Kirk. From Albertasby, Hagasvyo, Astrolinium, Melbacia and Boynichov. The cameras zoomed in on Pauline's cute face, and she had a fake look of seriousness on her face.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Big Chenkorya Quiz! I am going to ask you five questions! The one who answers the first and gets it right gets the point, OK?" There we go, with the hardest question! I'm not kidding! No, it isn't the hardest question. Question 1... What's the capital of Sazapkhulo province?
Thomas immediately answered. "Filetto"
"That's wrong! Oh no, it's right! Sorry! Sorry! Point one is for Thomas! Say all seven provinces of Chenkorya! That's number 2."
Olivia frowned. "Erm... Porti. That's true, isn't it?"
Tina Yipsils continued. "Gruzinskiy, Sazapkhulo."
Rami Weiner added one more. "Kapitol Raionne"
Olivia Londer continued. "Hell.. Erm.... Binamissis! Binamissis! Deltaï!
Thomas Altier added the last one, it was obvious Matt didn't know anything about the subject, he was listening well though. "Hollandieux."
Then Matt suddenly lived up. "Porti, Gruzinskiy, Sazapkhulo, Kapitol Raionne, Binamissis, Deltaï, Hollandieux" His lips made a grin, and others laughed.
"Second point goes to Matt! Question three.... What's the name of the hotel with the biggest pool in the world?"
Tina Yipsils was thinking a lot, she had been in the swimming pool all day, so she should have seen at least the sign of the name of the hotel. "Mercury Hotel" she then said.
"Wrong!" Pauline shouted.
Olivia suddenly jumped. "MERCURA HOTEL!"
"And that's right! Third point is for Olivia Londer from the Kingdom of Albertasby! The almost last question is... "What's the name of the cake Samira and I bought on the day we were in the swimming pool? You know, that delicious cheesecake-ish thing we ate that night when the Crolacian girl got drunk and almost drowned herself in the swimming pool and when one of the VIXX grannies saved her? That cake!"
Rami Weiner immediately said "No idea."
Matt had loved the cake and said..."Well, I loved the cake, but I don't remember it's name... was it actually said?"
"No, it wasn't, but you should know, it's not difficult. Tina...?"
"Rukula cake?"
"Almost right..."
"Rukukya Cake?"
"Yes, that's it! Tina Yipsils is currently winning! The last question is an extremely hard one.... What's Chenkorya's prime minister, and what's his daughter called like? His daughter is a famous singer, indie stuff."
All participants sighed and frowned. Matt started laughing nervously. "Erm..." he said. Olivia mumbled.. "Ivan Terakov?"
"No." Pauline said.
"Terasik?"
"Maybe." Pauline answered to Olivia.
"That's a yes." Olivia laughed.
"Ywain Terasik, maybe? I think I've heard something about a car accident with him when he was travelling to some prostitutes. That was the big news, not the accident, actually." Thomas Altier said.
"Yes, I think that's a half point! Can anybody say the name of his daughter...? It stayed quiet. "Terezija Terasik. That's a pity, you couldn't guess that. I didn't knew it too, actually. So strange she never wins CV, then. She keeps on trying. Anyway.. THE BIG CHENKORYA SPECIALIST IS OFFICIALLY... Tina Yipsils from Melbacia! Now, back to the show!

Samira & Jan Ardegorrián - "The Call"

Samira was back in the World Hit Festival baby! And she brought an excellent show with Jan Ardegorrián, an specialist on Lillamut folk, the main inspiration for the composition of "The Call", he was also a virtuoso violinist, a skill he would use tonight. Both artists were aiming to go into the top 3, as the Euskal artists do usually (WHF4 - 3rd; WHF6 - 1st; WHF7 - 1st; WHF8 - 2nd), but all in all, they just wanted to amaze the world with their music and performance.

OOC: Important, please read the following explanation of the lyrics
Their song was rather unusual, as they would talk about an special kind of love.... between nature and mankind; and the special contact between both... A theme commonly found in ancient Lillamut folk. A press conference was not enough to explain the whole meaning behind the lyrics, but Samira wanted to express it all on her performance. It can be perceived as well as a critic towards the current relation between men and nature, where the latter is exploitated horribly. This song invites all to bring back the life, hear the call of nature that tells you to take care of her, to play with her... To convey her message of love and peace. The climax of the lyrics is "Vi är langt vak og, alligvel so tæt på! (We're far away, and yet so close)", a phrase in Lillamut that expresses that lost contact between us, and nature.


Samira was dressed in a blue Lillamut dress (a combination between this and this, but made specially for moving normally); whilst Jan had a Lillamut white formal suit (white pants, a golden vest, a white jacket, and a white shirt (without the black lines)). Their backing singers (8) were all girls, dressed like this. And they also had 10 violinists, 1 percusionist and 1 pianist sitting in concentric circles in the smaller stage. They were 22 in total, following the Euskal tradition. The rest of the music (the electric guitar and synth bits) are pre-recorded.

Both stages are immerse in smoke.... So they look like two islands. The background screen is behind the three back petals (it's normal configuration), and it shows a starry night. The light set is all blue, and there is thin fog (like vapor) coming out of the central fountain... Making it all look misty and misterious.

The petals were projecting an ice/snow-like floor, and Jan Ardegorrián was ascending from the lift of one of the petals (the mid-right if you're looking from the panoramic/roof camera) as he sang the intro of the song.... The back singers were moving around the fog... Projecting shadows on the large stage.

Then, Samira began ascending from the lift of another petal (the inferior left if you're looking from the panoramic/roof camera) as she sang her first part of the song. Her voice sounded amazingly beautiful, and the Chenkoryan and Euskal crowds cheered because of her entrance a lot.

The screen began to show snowflakes, cracking up; opening and closing at the same time, and reflecting different colours. The lights were moving around the whole StephaPhone Arena in tones of blue and white. Samira went on to look Jan directly in his eyes, and both started to walk towards each other. The screen showed the shots of the central-stage-panoramic-camera as they walked towards each other. Everything was still misty and all; and shadows, coming from the backing singers who were running in the proper floor of the stage. The 10 sang together the bridge (in Lillamut language) passionately...

The chorus (a mash-up of Georgian, Mikunan and Lillamut) was ready to be heard. It was opened majestously by the little orchestra of 12 in the smaller stage, and by the hand contact between Jan and Samira. Their voices melded perfectly, and the backing singers were helping them as well. The latter were making an artistic (Pina Bausch-like) choreography as they ran and sang circumventing the big stage.

A flash of water coming out from the central fountain (like a geiser) separated Jan and Samira. The nymphs (the 8 backing singers) had stepped into the main stage, and 4 were with Samira; 4 with Jan. Both were singing at the same time, again with a perfect voice. The lights were now playing around them; and the nymphs were incorporating both Samira and Jan to their choreographies... but it still seemed Samira and Jan were like in a box (representing isolation).

A nymph gave Jan a violin..... He started to play the mid-song violin solo that he had practised so much during the past weeks. The cameras were revolving around him showing how he played in a very professional way... Whilst the background screen was being railed around the main stage. The 8 nymphs and Samira were running beside it (and singing ooh, aah, ooh), touching it... And each time a part of the screen was touched, a dash of green (or other vivid colour) appeared, representing the birth of nature.

Then, they arrived to the place where Jan was, and together sang the bridge, as Samira and Jan looked at each other again, like when you first meet someone. The lights also came to this very place... So Samira and Jan appeared inside a blue halo.

The last beat of the drum matched a huge explosion of blue pyros and fire in the fire islands that painted everything in blue for a milisecond. Then, everything was dark, except for a few bulbs that pointed at each one of the nymphs, and singers (Samira & Jan). Everything had frozen out but the latter two, who started to walk around the stage, watching how everything had been frozen.

The camera makes several interesting shots: a last drop falling off the central fountain, the dead-like look of a nymph's face, the whole frozen-out mini-orchestra, the dress' tail and the running feet of Samira, the mist coming out of Jan's mouth when breathing. It was very appealing to the audience's visual and auditive perceptions. A flash of air coming out from somewhere began, and everyone (even if not in the arena) began to feel cold.

Around 2.30, another flash of pyros/fire came out of the fire islands (this time green) and when it ended, the stage had changed completely... The fog was disappearing, trees had appeared in the back of the stage, the nymphs had attires with vivid colours, and the background screen projected a seemingly-evergreen forest, the lights used now weren't blue..... they were white and yellow. Samira and Jan went back to the place where the nymphs were, and they started to dance around each one of the artists.

It all looked very magical and alive.... Then, they began to descend the staircase, as they looked in each other's eyes...
Oh oh!!!


The final chorus, with a lot more of strength and vocal ability came in. Samira & Jan were totally smiling, since everyone had felt what they felt... And everyone was getting the message behind the lyrics. That was enough reason to be happy. The camera now showed how they were walking in the catwalks, totally feeling their song; but also showed how passionately the violinists were playing, and how the crowd was really enjoying the song.

The frenetic friction of the violins strings was shown on screen thanks to little cameras put in the violins of the mini-orchestra. The big spotlights beneath them projected a greenish-goldenish light upwards, so they looked in a greenish-goldenish halo, almost timeless. Samira was in the center of the spiral of the right catwalk, whilst Jan was closing his eyes and stretching his arms out as he sang. They both had the song in their hearts.

The nymphs surrounded Samira and covered her, she was doing something as the last line of the song was being delivered...

Before the last chord of the music, the nymphs "exploded" outwards, and revealed Samira with a new outfit. She was dressed in a way that evocates nature (like a combination between this and this). She smiled at the cameras, and then, a big splash of golden pyros and fire covered the whole stage, and arena.... Even the exterior of the arena (an helicopter shot showed this).

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause.... Many even cried, especially a group of Mikunans (jungle tribes of Euskirribakondara) who had the same feeling as Samira. She joined Jan and they made a bow shouting...

Thank you world! Spaxhibo Chenkorya i Stephani! Géskerre Euskirribakondara! Magükabañakekalarré!!!!!

The song starts around 0.30 in this video whose rhythm will be used in this song. The fire islands were lit with an orange color, and the smoke was surrounding the stage. A guitarist, a pianist and a duduk player were playing in the little stage, and Dima was on the big stage. instead of water, there was fog coming out of the center of the big stage. the lights would be used to increase the misty atmosphere of the show. Lyena was in the staircase of the stage, with her sand, as she would make the forms that appear on the video. These forms would be shown on the background movable screen, rotating around the scenario. Dima is singing in one of the petals.

This was the time Good Fellows was waiting for. After all those months of practice, they will show their talent. They are about represent Anollasia in the World Hit Festival.
The song starts off with a quiet, yet intense, guitar riff.
You slowly see the guitarist, John Caderburg, rise up of the northwest lifter.
He is dressed in trousers and a white collared shirt.
The guitar riff ends, and comes the voice of lead vocal, Henry Goodman. He rises up of the northeast lifter.
He is dressed in trousers and a white collared shirt, same as John. The spotlight is on him.
You hear him singing the following in a medium volume voice. The tempo is slow.

Rolling hills- Oh, how beautiful
Spining windmills- Oh, how beautiful
Waterfalls
Seen through all those fancy banquet halls


His voice gets slightly louder.
Then, you see drummer, Sam Harrison, rising up of the southwest riser, and bassist, Matthew McLaughlin, rise up of the southeast riser. They are both dressed in trousers and a white collared shirt.

A snowy mountain- Another miracle
Another fountain- Another spectacle
No more time
I've got to love and live with pride


Then you hear the drumming, and guitar riffs. It's a faster tempo, but not upbeat. The riff is played while Henry is singing the following in a loud voice.

This world is wonderful!
This world is wonderful!
Think about all those good things
Happiness is key
Think, 'Half the glass is full'


Then, Henry starts to sing quietly again. The spotlight is on him.

So many debts- I think I have some stress
So many bets- I think I have some belongings less
Oh my god
Why is this always going on?


The guitar riffs and drumming are back. Henry sings in a louder voice again.
The fire islands start having fire.

This world is horrible!
This world is horrible!
Think about all those mistakes

He has tears going down his eyes, but the audience doesn't notice.
He sings in a medium voice.

All those wars- Losing tons of lives

Henry and the rest of the band sing in the loudest voice possible, with the drumming and guitars.
The fountain in the middle of the stage, started spurting fire, same with the fire islands.

John does a loud, epic guitar solo, that's fast tempo.
Henry continues to sing in a loud voice.

Henry goes down the lifter, head down.
The rest of the band continues singing, quietly.

Henry rises up the lifter and comes to the band.
The audience is going crazy. Cheering, clapping, and whistling.
The band goes off the stage, glad that they finally got that over and the audience loved their song.
''Thank you, Chenkorya! Thank you!'' They yell together.

Right after the Artsakhiani postcard, the stage showed its petals in the three colours of the Artsakhiani flag: light green, orange and light blue. Sofi Shahumyan (with that same hairdress) was very excited in the little stage. She was dressed with a beautiful all-white dress (like the one in the right, but totally white, in this image); she also had high heels, like in the rehearsals.... Hopefully she wouldn't fall this time. Her back up dancers, all male (5) were dressed a bit like the guy on the left on this image. Both costumes had an special tone of white that would reflect the colour of the light pointed at it. There were also two backing singers (one male and one female) hidden behind the screen.

The screen was placed so that, when looked at by the cameras, it looked as if it was in the back of the small stage, behind Sofi. Everything was dark now. The giant spotlight of the center was turned on in a bright white light; whilst just 5 out of the 10 small others were turned on, on a very dim red tone (each one of the backing dancers was on each one of these). As the white was so bright, all we could see was a shadow-ish image of Sofi.

She started to sing, and as she sang, smoke was being shot out of the smaller stage... Everything was turning totally smoky as she delivered the first lines with a great vocal experience. Meanwhile, the backing dancers were in their respective spotlights, making totally synchronized moves; and actually, starting from a leaning position (like in MJ's Smooth Criminal) to symbolize the rising of the sun.

As Sofi said "guynerov", which means colours... The letters (in both Armenian and Latin alphabets) for 'Guynerov' appeared on the background screen, in different colours. As the rhythm changed, with each beat of the 'dum-dum-dum-dum-dum' before the next stranza, pyros were shot out of different parts of the stage, in different shades of the yellow-orange-red colour range.

The dancers went to where Sofi was, and this time, the smaller spotlights turned off... Now the big central one projected out a reddish light as the smoke was leaving; and a white roof bulb pointed at them, making it look like a bright red. For the first line, Sofi touched the chest of one of a dancer who was at her left. For the second line, she caressed the face of the dancer who was at her right... And for the last one, he grabbed the shoulder of the dancer on her front, and pulled it towards her. The other two dancers were just behind her doing other moves that did not distract, but complemented the main action.

The smoke had already left completely, as planned. Now the big central spotlight was turned off as the light came from the roof (as it is almost always). For the first line of this next part, the dancers went back to their small spotlights and the latter turned on into a golden-like yellow, to symbolize the sunshine. They made nice moves again, and the lights switched to a water-like white-ish blue for the third line.

For this little chorus intro, Sofi put more strength on her voice to make it sound like a deep shout; and pyros came out from specific points in the catwalk each milisecond (like in the video)

Then, she started to walk through the little ramp to access the catwalk, and her dancers followed her making moves with their arms and torso so that it looked as it does in many Hindi movies (like this). White bulbs were following them. Each tame she said Barev, she made a quick stop and shook her hips a little. For the last part, she pointed at the sky....

The "parade" stopped at that little turn of the catwalk and performed the exact same moves that can be seen in the video.

With the sound of the Dhol (Armenian drum) she started to walk again, followed by her dancers, but this time they were on a horizontal line (one of them was missing, so that they looked 2+1+2). Then, right when they were at the point were the catwalk meets an adjacent catwalk that leads to the entrance/exit of the stage, Sofi and her singers shout...

They keep walking and Sofi adds another line.
Nerkan u ban (The present, and nothing else)


Then, they keep walking through the catwalk, and we can see that the background screen is following them. The camera is now placed from their side so that the audience can look at them walking (in this case, to the right) with the screen on their back. As Sofi walks she invites everyone to move their hips and sing like she does (Like Sirusho does in {1.28}). The background screen is projecting wavy lines of different colours that move with the music.

They arrive to the turn behind the blue petal (as seen here) and Sofi sings. At the same time we can see a dash of fire coming out of the fire island nearby in front of her (since the camera is taking her from her side, the fire island looks as if it was in front of her).

As she does that technically long note, she is risen up by her four dancers to the level of the petal, where her fifth, "lost" dancer receives her and places her in the proper petal. As she is placed there, the background screens moves quickly to be placed behind her and get the 4 dancers out of sight; and all the lights start to illuminate the big stage.

She walks forward, towards the lake in the center of the big stage as another camera (one already in the stage) takes her from her front. A visual effect is used here.... The background screen shows hands surrounding Sofi, like enclosing her. In the third line, she looks at her dancer and pulls him next to her.

The illumination over the stage switched to red in this moment, and her dancer disappeared. Flames appeared on the background screen. She kept singing wonderfully as she had done it so far.

Pyros again came out each milisecond (like in the video), but this time, from all the line that surrounds the petals of the big stage.

Her five dancers appeared as if from nowhere and crawled, dancing in a circle that surrounded her. Since she was standing in the lift, the lift began to rise her up, not too fast or she'd fall. She kept singing, and the lift had a golden colour that made her dress look a bit like golden. A shot was made from the roof, and it looked like a sun... The center was Sofi and her lift; whilst the rays where the 5 dancers.

The pole had placed here in a place around 2 meters above the floor of the stage, and quickly, the dancers brought a staircase they secured at the second. Sofi began to descend through it towards the lake as she sang...

She reached the stage floor and she was right in front of the fountain. They had placed an special transparent platform on the center of it; and Sofi walked in on it. Then, she started to soulfully sing just two words with the best vocal quality of hers. The fountain began to function, making delicate water moves around her; which looked in the cameras amazingly. The camera was a steadicam rotating around the fountain showing her passionate singing and gesturing inside the "jail of water".

Nobody was noticing it, but as she sang those two previous words, each dancer went to the lift of each petal, and began to rise up quickly.... so that when Sofi had finished her vocal climax, they would already be on top of the lifts, 2 meters above from the floor.

The fountain stopped functioning, and Sofi jumped out of it towards the front staircase (another transparent platform had been placed here). She sang, pointing at the camera on her front...

She (like in the video) shook her body as the dhol and guitar sounded before the next chorus, and pyros came out of everywhere in the stage again. Then, this camera started to be used, and as it was revealed now that the dancers were on the lifts of each petal, everyone let out a little "woooo!".

For the intro of the next chorus, Sofi would sing as she walked slowly towards the front staircase; and the dancers would make interesting (50% tai-qi-quan-like and 50% like in the video) moves on their lifts.

Now, special aerial cameras would film one dancer on each one of the following phrases. As they did so, special lasers would project the words "Arev", "Sarer", "Ser" and "Barev" on their bodies. The fifth dancer would be filmed on the next chorus.

In the first line, the fifth dancer appeared pointing at the camera. In the second phrase, Sofi was shown singing and shaking her hips again. In the fourth and fifth it was shown how Sofi sang, and how the dancers jumped off their lifts.

Pyros came out of the line that surrounds the stage each milisecond (like in the video), but at the same time, all the dancers reached Sofi and grabbed her again to rise her in the air. Also, each one of the lifts went up and down and up and down with the music, to give an impressive look on the camera.

In "arev", the dancers threw Sofi in the air and catched her as she came back down. All the fans started to cheer a lot, TOO MUCH, actually, since the Artsakhiani song had been a total success, and the Albertasbian song was up next. Sofi shouted..

"Shnorhakalut'yun... Yes sirum em k'ez Stefani!!!!!!!
Thank you World Hit Festival!"

HOSTS INTERVENTION 3 - REHEARSALS


Cirila So... 21 acts so far! That's a lot, and we're near the end of the show, unfortunately. We don't want the show to end very soon, so we're interrupting you from your show once again.
Boris Don't worry, for the last time. That was Chinese Regions, by the way, very cool, really.
Cirila You've already seen the artist's journey, Tina Yipsils has won the Big Chenkorya Quiz in the previous intervention, and now we're going to look at the third hosts intervention.
Boris And it's about the rehearsals! All artists have been rehearsing for around two weeks, first just in their normal clothes, later with their huge dresses and everything else they desided to put on, and later they had their amazing show.
Cirila Of course everything doesn't go well at the first day somebody rehearses. Let's take a look at a recap of how some acts failed at their first rehearsal, and judge the progress yourself.




DAY 1
Today, all countries from VIXX (song 1) until Chenkorya (song 12) rehearsed for the first time. You could see video material of the Bishniklova Lola's rehearsing in traditional Chenkoryan clothes for their first rehearsal, it wasn't an official dress rehearsal after all. Thomas Altier was shown sitting with his piano, but the rest of the stage was empty, and there were no cliffs on the background, so probably they had changed that later. The Phoenigetuszthan artists were wearing different masks, and the backdrop was changing every two seconds, so probably they were trying out different backdrops. Demphor's cello's were extremely off-tune, so John Vincent laughed and made a movement with his hands, while saying "Just stop, let's do it one more time." Maada Kralin from Folkand was just singing in normal clothes, as well as her dancers. For Mediterra, it was shown that the music started, but Nostra Ardilla didn't appeared on stage. The music continued, but everyone was like... HUH? Then later, suddenly the lift brought her up. The lift appeared to be not-working in the beginning of the song. When the lead singer of the Black Belt Club somersaulted into the lake, he was helding the guitar player of the band, so they both fell into the lake. The last fragment of this clip showed the Made of Hair members were talking with each other about the performance. On the background, a video was playing. It was a so called 'screamer', that someone from the technical team had projected there, because he knew the members of Made of Hair very well.

DAY 2
Now all acts from 13 until 27 rehearsed for the first time. Jigi Pishkibibi was rehearsing when he noticed the camera filming her. He ran to it, and put his hand for it, because he didn't want anybody from the press or internet to film his rehearsal. Later he heard it was actually a camera from people of the WHF itself. Sakhovelo's dance was showed, and everything went perfect already. Olivia Londer was filmed doing a very long note, perfectly. Her hairs were wet somehow, apparently she had just showered. The people from New Warwick were just wearing every day clothes, but the fountain was turned on too hard, they had to change that, so everyone became wet. Most of them were wearing white clothes. In Crolacia's sound test, the mic made a very strange noise that made everyone almost deaf. Chinese Regions was now practizing with lots of lights, something that apparently changed. In Euskirribakondara's first rehearsal, Samira wasn't wearing her amazing dress, and she suddenly sneezed during the refrain, which made everybody laugh. Melbacia's Tina's laptop she had on stage, fell, and it was totally crashed; a reserve one was dragged on the stage. Anollasia's lift goes up instead up down, which made Henry laugh. Artsakhestan's Sofi was on very high heels, which she wasn't used to, and she fell.




After this shorter hosts intervention, the show continued with fan favourite Euskirribakondara!

Aliccia Vasquez: Tómame Contigo

Aliccia Vasquez stood on the stage with two dancers behind her. They were standing still as she was. Aliccia wore a simple floor length silver dress which sparkled in the light. The dancers were wearing black clothing with no shoes and the woman dancer was wearing a fashionably torn dress. As the music began, the dancers began to do a ballet-style routine behind her. Aliccia began to sing the first words of the song:

Un día estás dentro de mí

As the chorus began, two more dancers appeared on stage, dressed in white versions of the clothes worn by the other dancers and they began to dance the same routine.

As the second verse began, the lights progressively increased in brightness, also revealing three violin players to the left of Aliccia.

During next chorus, four back up singers appear and walk through the dancers and flank Aliccia when she holds the word dejara for dramatic effect.

Hello, BGEN, Hagasvyo and VIXX. Live from Baerumnorgen Plaza, here are your hosts for tonights coverage of the 10th World Hot Festival!

John Catropan and Maria Dominguez walk out on stage. There are over 45,000 WHF fans in the plaza, with more of a World Cup final feel than a song contest. The 2 commentators are inside, but outside their window a huge crowd can be seen. Anyway, the banter begins...

John: Hello, BGEN Fabulousidom! This is the only place to watch coverage for WHF 10. Now, let's go on to the first act. Maria, who is it?
Maria: Why it's VIXX! *roar from the crowd* Give it up for Bishniklova Lola and their song "Work Yu Toh!"

Cirila and Boris were standing on the second stage, on the huge light, which was the only light that was turned on. Cirila was now wearing a different dress, this one. On the main stage, the things of the Costa Fieran act were still getting erased. For a few seconds, the camera filmed them while they just smiled into the camera. Then Cirila started to speak.

Cirila Welcome back! Thank you Costa Fiero, I really liked that! Very powerful!
Boris 27 songs have been performed for us, it's gonna be a very heavy battle for the win. For your interest, last edition, we also had 27 acts.
Cirila Yeah, last edition was the biggest edition of WHF ever... but is this edition too? Because well.. it has the same number of acts, right?
Boris Hrm... I don't know! I think it is. Anyway, we've come to the end of the show, and you, watching your television, or looking at your computer screen... are going to get told how to VOTE!
Cirila Of course lots of you already know how to do so, but maybe some don't. This edition, you can vote with your... telephone, cellphone, via our website, via the WHF App and via Facebook. You most have one of these, right?
Boris Tss... when you don't have any of these, you are a little behind on today's developments, I'd say.
Cirila You can vote with your telephone, by calling 0909-00.. and then the number of the act as the last two numbers. You can call us with your cellphone too. With your cellphone, you can also send us an SMS. You have to send an SMS to 9000.
Boris When you want to vote via our website, you can go to... whf.tv, such an original name. There you will immediately see where you can vote. There you click on the nation you want to vote for, and then remit 0,50 cents to our bank account. If you don't understand it yet, you can read that once again on our website.
Cirila If you have bought our WHF App, you can also vote via that. Look... start it. NOW a screen will appear with all nations. You can send two free votes now. Last but not least is Facebook, where you can vote if you go to our page.
Boris For all except the app, voting costs 0,50 cents, and the maximum number of votes you can send per telephone, cellphone, IP adress and facebook account is 3. Yes, 3. You can vote two times with the WHF App, for free, because the price of the votes was already included in the price of the app itself; 0,99 euro.
Cirila You can almost vote now! You still need to know which codes to use when you vote with your telephone and cellphone though! It's very easy, it's just the draw they've performed at. Here you can see them.

The screens show the countries, their flags, and the voting codes, with the numbers to vote and text to on the bottom of the screens.

Boris So, for example... I'd like to vote for erm.. Costa Fiero, maybe. Then I take my telephone.... and call to 0909-0027.. you understand?
Cirila When you want to vote for the Northern Sunrise Islands by texting.. you just text 15 to 9000. Is everything clear for you?
Boris In some countries, 50% of the results are decided by juries. In Chenkorya, it's 100% televoting, but when you live in Euskirribakondara, 50% of your results are decided by juries.
Cirila We are now going to the first interval act, which will take fifteen minutes. You can vote during that interval act. After that interval act, the voting period stops. You can not vote anymore! Then in 15 minutes, the votes are counted and send to us, then we'll have the final results.

INTERVAL ACT 1 - THE (MUSIC) WORLD IN ONE PLACE


All acts had performed, and the hosts had just opened the voting. Immediately after the opening of the voting, the first interval act started. The name of this interval act was "The (Music) World in One Place". The commentators of every nation explained to their viewers what this interval act was about; it was an act with lots of different artists that were active in Chenkorya, and popular there, or at least known, since some artists were more popular and known as other artists. But the special thing about it was, that all these artists had roots in another WHF participating country (OOC: Doesn't mean that you can use them anytime you want yourself), except the first ones, they were 100% Chenkoryan. All of them would perform a part of a succesfull WHF entry of that country.

After the opening of the voting, fireworks had exploded, but after the fireworks, everything had gone dark. After a few seconds, all the little spotlights around the main stage turned on. All of them made rays of purple light, and they were all shining straight up, without moving. Then suddenly around 50 candles were slowly going down from the ceiling to the stage. A similar effect was used on the opening act of WorldVision 19 in Avenion. Probably they were attached on firm but almost invisible wires. When all candles had arrived at the stage, you could see more of the stage. There were two places on the stage where there were no candles. At the biggest one a piano was standing, and a man was playing it. On another place, a woman was standing. When the cameras zoomed in on her face, the crowd started to shout extremely loud. That woman was Zora Agrioli. On the screens of the viewers at home appeared a little bar; "ZORA AGRIOLI & AERONWEN ABAF - 100% CHENKORYAN". This two women had won the second World Hit Festival. The music started, and Zora started singing their WHF2 entry 'False Hope'.

The cameras switched to the second stage, where a spotlight had turned on too. There was Aeronwen Abaf standing. She looked into the cameras, but she recieved a less loud cheer from the crowd because she wasn't as popular as Zora. Both had not had any hits since False Hope, but Zora had always stayed a television personality, while Aeronwen was never on television anymore. And when she was, it was because of her man, who was a famous Chenkoryan footballer. Aeronwen lines are in red. When they take turns at singing, the cameras change between their faces, and during the refrain they sing together, they are slowly walking towards each other on the catwalk

They were now standing in front of each other, and while they looked each other in the face, the lights on the main stage and the second stage and the catwalk faded away. It was now time for the next country, or actually for the next artist. The next artist was Frans Frederiksen. Frans had a Chenkoryan-Dutch father, but his mother was coming from another Rushmori country; The Kiaser Colonies. On the screens of the viewers appeared; 'FRANS FREDERIKSEN - 50% KIASERIAN' Frans Frederiksen would perform a part of the second most succesfull song from his motherland; If You Need Me by the Festival. He was standing on the main stage, and there were no spotlights or something, but the ground beneath his feet (so the stage) was illuminated in a kind of light blue colour, that gave just enough ligth to see Frans and his band. They were going to do a more quiet version of the actual song by The Festival. The music started, although it did not exactly sounded like it does in that video, but much slower and without loud sounds, and with Frans Frederiksen's hoarse folk-ish voice.

Frans and his band started to play their guitars a bit louder, and the drums kicked in. Nobody could have imagined a folk version of If You Need Me, but they had just made one, and a great one. Now it was time for the refrain of the song, and with a lot of passion Frans and the band sang the refrain.

Frans Frederiksen recieved quite a loud cheer from the crowd, and he smiled while the lights on the stage faded away. Then music started. With every sound the music made, one spotlight on the second stage turned on, and when all were turned on, you could see a little rotating platform in the middle of it. On that platform, a woman was standing in a sexy pose. On the viewer's screen appeared 'LULAILA - 75% ARTSAKHIANI', and the people in the crowd could also read that on the background screens, so they started to shout. Lulaila was a moderately dance music artist, à la Inna. She had made a remix of Artsakhestan's best WHF entry; Aha T'e Inch'pes Yen, by Aysel Tsivishnili. Lulaila started singing.

Lulaila stepped off her rotating platform, and recieved a cheer for the song, not for herself, since she wasn't extremely popular in Chenkorya, just Artsakhiani. She walked up the catwalk, and with every step, a spotlight on the side of the catwalk turned on. Those spotlights illuminated the catwalk, and then you could see shirtless men. When a shirtless men became visible, Lulaila played with him, and then continued walking. She did all these things singing.

The music changed, and suddenly a lot of bright lights in different colors illuminated the main stage, the catwalk and the second stage and everything around it. On the main stage were more dancers, and Lulaila ran up the main stage and danced along with them, while singing the catchy refrain that had just become catchier. Also the shirtless men were dancing along on the main stage now, they were standing on the background in a line. It looked like one big party, and now everyone in the crowd liked the performance better.

Also Lulaila did get a loud cheer from the audience now, especially from the people who had also liked the entry a lot in WHF8. Three artists had performed so far, and there was a lot more to come. Next up was another singer that was currently one of the most popular singers in Chenkorya, and who had a very big chance to represent Chenkorya on WHF or WV soon; Jewelry. Jewelry's mother was Albertasbian, and her father was Chenkoryan-Dutch. The family had lived in Albertasby too, so she spoke French and English fluently, but her real home nation was Chenkorya, where she always spoke Dutch. Jewelry made very interesting music, and she was now going to sing one of Albertasby's most succesfull WHF entries. She was going to sing Albertasby's jazz-pop entry A Little Strange, but more in Jewelry's own style, with beautiful background music, and some dubstep influences now and then, and more melancholical.

Jewelry smiled and got a huge cheer from the crowd, as she was very popular in the WHF community. The music got louder and Jewelry also started to sing louder and with a lot of passion. Lights in different colours went as searching lights through the crowd, and the crowd was very impressed with her performance.

Jewelry had ended the song with a very long and beautiful note, and the interval act had ended! All dancers and artists from the interval act ran up the stage and made a bow, the interval act was done, and it was now time for the voting. The interval act wasn't as good as the opening act, but it had been really nice to watch.
