This is the Roster & RP thread for the 36th AOCAF Competition

The Atlantian Oceania Confederation of Association Football Cup, more commonly known as the AOCAF Cup or simply AOCAF, is played amongst the nations of the region of Atlantian Oceania Only.

The Defending champions are Audioslavia

The RP Bonus:

Rosters are graded on Quality, Detail and completeness. RP's will be graded as a running total and there is no limit to the number of RP that can be posted on a given matchday, however there will be a soft cap on the total RP bonus that can be attained on each matchday individually.

And I have a question for the host. Possibly a slightly foolish one, but: does the RP bonus only count for RP that is about the actual football being played? As those who follow the Di Bradini cup, Falcania has just deployed a massive military effort to the relief of the Wight catastrophe, and I plan to RP more of that here, if I get the chance.

All relevant RP counts. That includes AOCAF related, Wight Castatrophe related, anything else to do with anything going on in the region, in the country or with one of its citizens, etc.. The more you can tie it to the AOCAF the better, but its not a requirement

The Schedule:

Matches will be scored in the overnight to dawn hours - likely to be between 05:00 and 10:00 UTC. There will be a day off between each Scorination matchday.

Tivali Ring Stadium Alikki-Corra, Vilita (87,000 Seated)
Home Club: Vilitan National Team
The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

Lunar Park - Seraai, Vilita (129,000 Seated)
Home Club: Eastal Lunar FC
Lunar Park became the largest stadium in Vilita at the time of its construction. Although some stadiums have added poor quality seating to exceed the 129,000 capacity mark, Lunar Park offers quality seats all around the stadium, and onlookers sometimes get treated to events such as Rocket Launches and suborbital testing as the stadium was constructed by the Vilitan Space Program overlooking some of their active launch facilities. Lunar Park is the home of Vilitan side Eastal Lunar FC and hosted the final of the Cup of Harmony 50: Golden Edition.

Lonngeylin Coliseum - Lonngeylin, Vilita (115,500 Seated) - 141,000 Standing Room
Home Club: Jungle Strike FC
The Coliseum is one of the oldest, but most expansive stadiums in Vilita. The Coliseum is known for its unique hillside accommodation, boasts one of the most impressive match atmospheres in the region. Typically, only the home fans are allowed in the south and east areas, which include both hillside seating and open hillside that can accommodate an approximately 30,000 additional fans beyond the seated capacity - depending on how far away from the stadium they wish to prop themselves. Away fans are always seated in the west grandstand.

Marine World Park - Crosaibi, Vilita (57,500 Capacity)
Home Club: Marine Coast United
Marine World Park is the oldest stadium in Vilita, home of the historic club Marine Coast United. The stadium was at one time the largest stadium in Vilita by seating capacity before the construction of the Tivali Ring Stadium in Alikki-Corra prior to World Cup 13. Marine World Park is one of the few stadiums of the Vilitan league that was never hit by the expansion bug in the golden era of the Vilitan League. While many stadiums expanded to over 100,000 capacity, Marine World Park's coastal location made any expansion plans tricky, and some have blamed the lack of expansion for some of the troubles of Marine Coast United in attracting the talent they need to keep up with any of the Stellar Division teams. Marine World Park also hosted parts of the World Cup 17 Finals

Arcticala Electrical Stadium, Arcticala, Vilita (90,277 Seated)
Home Club: Arcticala Inlet AFC
The Arcticala Electrical Stadium was originally constructed during World Cup 34 but was not maintained for some time. When the Vilitan League resumed for Season 26, it was decided that Arcticala would resume play in their original home, the Inlet Stadium, where they continued to play all their league games through their Season 28 championship season. The Arcticala Electrical Stadium was re-opened during Season 28 and Arcticala Inlet used the stadium during their cup campaign which saw them advance to the final. and will host all Arcticala Inlet matches starting in Season 29. The refurbished 90,000+ seater stadium is one of the most advanced stadiums in the region with the funding of Vilita's biggest energy provider behind it, fully covering the exterior of the stadium with solar panels.

National View Stadium - Morata Valley, Vilita (114,000 Seated)
Home Club: Inland Peaks FC
National View Stadium was constructed with the goal of bringing World Cup matches to Morata Valley after the region missed out on hosting matches during World Cup 17. The home of Inland Peaks FC, National View Stadium, as the name would suggest, offers fantastic views of the Vilitan island and has viewing decks on the outside of the stadium at multiple levels. Originally constructed as a 42,000 All seater, the stadium has since expanded to 90,000, then to 114,000 seats with some additional capacity on the viewing decks.

Lirai Asku Castle - Yeaddin, Vilita (62,000 Seated)
Home Club: Yeaddin Owls AFC
This historical aged castle was converted into a sporting arena by the Yeaddin Owls who promised to pay for maintenance on the Castle Exterior while building their stadium against the vacant inner walls of the structure. Despite its relatively low capacity compared with other stadiums in the Tropics of Vilita, the atmosphere provided by the Lirai Asku Castle both inside and out makes it a popular choice to host international matches in World Cup, Cup of Harmony, Baptism of Fire and AOCAF competition.

Cednia Beach Center - Cednia, Turori (103,000 Seated)
Home Club: Cednia Beach AFC
The Cednia Beach Center is one of the purest examples of capitalism and expansion in the Vilitan Leagues. Originally a modest plot for a modest team, the stadium has risen along with the rise of the club. Now, a world class stadium capacity wise, there are concessions that were made. The training grounds outside the center are second rate, and parking is virtually non-existent at the complex. Public transportation - including your own two feet, would be required for fans to access the stadium. Thats alright though, plenty of lodging surrounds the local area within walking distance.

Coliseum of the Inurahtii - Inura Forest, Turori (88,000 Capacity)
Home Club: Inura Forests
Located in the deep forest of Turori away from the population centers, the Coliseum of the Inurahtii began construction around World Cup 31, but construction was off and on until a purpose could be found. The grand vision was to have a stadium facing the beautiful forest with the sea off in the distance, visible to those in the large eastern grandstand that towered above the canopy in the original plans. Finally, the Football Association of Turori agreed that if the stadium was completed, they would host some national team matches there. Additionally, the Vilitan League allowed Turorian Expansion team "Inura Forests FC" to be join the non-league ranks as an official member, playing based at the Coliseum during Season 27.

Bear Claw Stadium - Mavaloiao, Vilita (48,000 Capacity)
Home Club: Mavaloiao FC

4-Time AOCAF Champions

GOALKEEPERS:

[ 85 ] Nycflala Kater [ - Strike FC - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 47 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.76 Average Rating ]
Descended of former National Team goalkeeper Jimmy Kater, who took over the starting position on the National Team under the intense spotlight of the World Cup 17 Finals in Vilita and remained first choice keeper for the majority of Vilitan national competition in subsequent seasons before joining the coaching staff for World Cup 31. Nycflala made his full debut for the Vilita National Team during World Cup 57 where he was named the starter in 14 of Vilitas 16 qualification matches. Kater performed strongly with 6 shutouts and a 5.86 average rating. Many claim that the focus on the World Cup 57 Qualifying campaign distracted Strike players such as Kater from performing well domestically in VLeague 26. Kater ensured there would be no dissapointment in VLeague 27 leading Strike comfortably to both the League and Cup titles, repeating the feat during VLeague 29 and VLeague 30.

[ 1 ] Ronji Miiastara [ - Kiiarana City (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 19 CAPS: 17 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Miiastara joined Marine Coast United in Vilita for their V-League 27 campaign in the Declasse, just the second ever for the club at that level. Miiastara was tasked with keeping the ball out of the net, and he did just that, helping lead Marine Coast United back to the Stellar Division at the first attempt leading up to V-League 28. Miiastara wouldn't stick around for another season of relegation, however, opting for Stellar Division security at Kiiarana City while maintaining his position as the #1 goalkeeper for the Turori Eels

[ 92 ] Jungrii Canopii [ - Eastal Lunar - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 15 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.10 Average Rating ]
Canopii spent most of World Cup 57 Qualifications on the bench, earning three substitute appearances in official matches, though he was named starter for the mid-qualification charity match against Akbarabad to raise money for big cats, where he made 11 saves. Despite spending most of the campaign as the primary backup, Canopii was not given the opportunity to start when #1 keeper Kater missed two matches, leading doubts as to whether he is looked upon as a serious canadidate for the starting role in the future. After starting at the Inland Academy then signing for Inland Peaks, Canopii left the home-town club when they were relegated from the Stellar Division after Season 26, joining cross-range rivals Eastal Lunar. Despite being relegated to the Declasse, Canopii led Eastal Lunar to the Vilitan Cup title during Season 28. Canopii has remained loyal to Eastal Lunar despite their relegation from the Stellar Division, turning down multiple offers to join bigger clubs in the top flight. Canopii thrust back into the National Team spotlight during World Cup 60 Qualifying, stopping 5 of the 9 matches the Jungle Cats won consecutively to qualify for the World Cup through the Playoff Pod system.

[ 98 ] Atacir Tivalan [ - Makosile FC - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Tivalan architected an outstanding season for Makosile FC in the Vilitan Stellar Division, season 26 leading the Mako's to a top 4 finish in the table, and earning a high-profile transfer to the Yeaddin Owls. Although Tivalan played well at the Castle, the team was languishing unfamiliarly near the bottom half of the table, while Makosile also struggled. The Owls decided to part company with the goalkeeper who was welcomed back to Makosile, finishing the season strong conceding just 8 goals in 15 games. Season 30 was the breakthrough for Tivalan and Makosile, an ultra-defensive season fell right into the Mako's hands as they were crowned stellar division champions for the first time and Tivalan got a call to the squad for AOCAF 36.

DEFENDERS:

[ 9 ] Ritopa Simafela [ - Strike FC - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 56 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.85 Average Rating ]
Ritopa was a standout product of the Lunar Academy and was named as one of the captains of Vilita's World Cup 57 Qualifying Squad. The son of a Rocket Scientist and a Physicist, Simafela is already well educated and is in no way reliant on a career in sports. However, strong performances during his debut qualifying campaign including a 6.05 average rating and 2 goals spurred transfer inquiries from foreign clubs and comparisons to Vilitan greats like Enzo Ahat and Ricky Ezis. Simafela transferred to Strike FC for VLeague 27 and was an instrumental part of their double success in the League and Cup.

[ 68 ] Kadi Molali [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D R ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 56 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.94 Average Rating ]
Molali has the ability to make stunning runs up the right side of the field and has put together exciting 'from-nothing' goal scoring opportunities in weekly scrimmage matches. Molali was an exciting prospect for the Turoki Academy who was solid, but not exceptional during World Cup 57 Qualifying, making 13 appearances and scoring 1 goal. After joining multiple clubs, including Strike FC, Molali left the VLeague abrubtly in the middle of VLeague 26. After some time off, Molali returned, signing for Eastal Lunar FC and completing a strong VLeague Season 27.

[ 3 ] Noa-isinao Wioauoi [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D RLC ( AGE: 19 CAPS: 2 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Noa-isinao Wioauoi ws a product of the Yeaddin Academy who caught the eye of one Yeaddin reporter at a training session doing ball handling tricks, and the shared video went viral, sparking a campaign including a fan website and even local town council requests to invite the youngster into the Vilita National Team training camp for World Cup 57. Wioauoi was invited to the camp, but never impressed coaches Massa and Wrice enough to be capped during the process. Wioauoi, born in Turori despite leaving in Vilita, accepted an invitation from the Football Association of Turori to train with them in preparation for a playing role in the World Cup 58 Qualifiers. After spending a season at Arcticala Inlet, Wioauoi moved to new Stellar Division competitiors Turoki Tide.

[ 67 ] Eda Shindhi [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 10 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.10 Average Rating ]
Shindhi is a player in the mold of former Marine Coast defensive stalwarts Ade Hinds and Sibusiso Azaiez. While Shindhi still has some development to go before realizing his full potential, it is expected that he will continue to get a run out from time to time as his skills progress. Shindhi made his competitive debut in defeat against Brendino the 3rd during World Cup 57 Qualifying but did not impress in that performance. After being trainined at the Coastal Academy, Shindhi signed his first professional contract with Marine Coast United. Shindhi switched to Cednia Beach AFC when Marine Coast were relegated for V-League 27, not enjoying success there, eventually returning to Vilita to play for the Turoki Tide, finishing runners up in V-League 28. Shindhi moved to Arcticala for V-League 30.

[ 4 ] Tyaoino Munviola [ - Makosile - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 8 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.44 Average Rating ]
A towering defender with a dependable head, Munviola is not afraid to join the attack on corner kicks, and rarely loses a defensive header. His feet have let him down from time to time, but have been improving. Despite his inconsistencies, Munviola was a surprise package during World Cup 57 qualifying, making 6 appearances and having a strong ratings average. After multiple seasons in the Non-League with Laiotia Locals, Munviola finally signed a league contract to play with Declasse side Mavaloiao for Season 30. Munviola's fast rise continued when making the big switch to V-League Champions Makosile for Season 32.

[ 94 ] Miiara Makose [ - Strike FC - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 55 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.02 Average Rating ]
Makose has Druidan blood, though has been diluted through multiple generations. He was trained as a goalkeeper in Turori but did not want to be stuck in the shadows of Nycflala Kater, so switched over to the defensive role when joining the Strike Academy. The transition was clearly justified as Makose was one of the top performing players in World Cup 57 qualifying, carrying a 6.65 average rating while appearing in 14 of Vilita's 16 group matches. Makose was also part of Strike's dominating VLeague 27 performances winning the League and Cup titles with the club and repeated the feat during VLeague 29, doing one better, having scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of the Cup Final against the rival Yeaddin Owls. Incredibly, Makose did it again during the Season 30 Cup Final, scoring the opening goal of Strike's 2-0 victory over Colonial Sile.

DEFENSIVE MID:

[ 36 ] Retiso Buran [ - Strike FC - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 58 :: GOALS::SR: 6 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.64 Average Rating ]
Retiso Buran was the top prospect at the Sile Academy specializing in the defensive midfield role once made famous by Jürgen Ramzi. Buran is a ferocious player who some has said can be seen with teeth gritted ready to pounce as the attacking side approaches. Appearing almost exclusively during World Cup 57 qualifying, Buran missed only one game and scored 2 goals during the campaign. Burans perofmances both for the National Team and for Makosile earned him a transfer to Strike FC for Season 27, where he earned the Vilitan Stellar Divisions top goalscorer award for the second consecutive season, the first time ever achieved by a midfielder.

[ 38 ] Dronik Ratuva [ - Morata Valley - ]
------- DM RLC ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 1 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 8.00 Average Rating ]
Dronik Ratuva was an exciting prospect from the Valley Academy, who is also able to move wide to defensively cover the wings when 2 or 3 central defenders are used. Ratuva helped Morata Valley earn promotion to the Stellar Division during VLeague 26.

[ 30 ] Ukalai Saluria [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Saluria was a product of the Turoki Academy, who has trained with the National Team as an alternate since World Cup 57. Saluria played much of his early career for Jaguar Moreda in the Vilitan Non-League system. Saluria was discovered by Lopinka United during Season 31 and strong performances quickly earned hte midfielder a switch to Stellar Division side Turoki Tide for Season 32.

MIDFIELDERS:

[ 21 ] Jomur Hulyer [ - Strike FC - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 64 :: GOALS::SR: 11 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.39 Average Rating ]
A decsendent of the exciting Marine Coast and Yeaddin midfielder Jonjo Hulyer, Jomur has been compared heavily to his ancestors and even carries the same squad number. Unlike Jonjo, however, Jomur was trained at the Yeaddin Academy. Hulyer would soon become the quickest player to ever represent all three of the original Vilitan Dynasties, signing his first professional contract with Marine Coast United before transferring to Strike for VLeague 28.

[ 51 ] Steffyn Siazzu [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 59 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.69 Average Rating ]
An exciting prospect from the Yeaddin Academy, Siazzu plays behind the strikers in a clean up or attacking role atop the midfield. Despite not scoring during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Siazzu was an important presence. After spending many seasons in Yeaddin, Siazzu moved to the Turoki Tide, helping them to runners-up in the VLeague29 table.

[ 25 ] Kiroki Mitaroka [ - Inland Peaks FC - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 18 CAPS: :: GOALS::SR: U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
After starting at the Turoki Locals in the Lower Leagues, Mitaroka's talent was spotted by Inland Peaks FC who snapped the youngster up for V-League season 29. At the midway point of the season Mitaroka was setting the Declasse on fire with skillful performances and caught the attention of the Vilitan coaches who added Mitaroka to the World Cup 59 roster despite having never been called to the National Team before.

[ 17 ] Raso Tareak [ - Yeaddin Owls (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 26 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Tareak joined Jlinal Cove FC in Vilita for V-League 26 helping the club to a respectable 8th place finish. In V-League 27, Tareak's peformances improved with a pair of goals helping Jlinal to an all-time best finish of 4th place in the standings. Tareak's impressive performances in Jlinal earned him a transfer, first to Turorian UICA Champions League representatives Cednia Beach AFC, then to the Yeaddin Owls for V-League 30.

[ 24 ] Astara Daiili [ - Kiiarana City - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 31 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.34 Average Rating ]
Daiili is a classic central midfielder who prefers a holding role and short distribution. With Starblaydi blood and Vilitan determination, Daiili was a consistent performer during World Cup 57 Qualifiers making 19 appearances with a 6.07 average rating. After spending the first 6 seasons of the career in Crosaibi, Daiili jumped ship at struggling Marine Coast for a team with far more Starblayde heritage, Kiiarana City.

[ 13 ] Vrotaoa Lorasoiba [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 27 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Lorasoiba's impressive performances for Turoki United, including 5 goals during the V-League 26 season, earned a high-value transfer to top Vilitan side Arcticala Inlet AFC. While it took Lorasoiba some time to get settled into life on the big Island, Lorasoiba's performances were enough to get an invitation to the Turori National Training camp for World Cup 58.

[ 28 ] Riksa Valjariia [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 14 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.97 Average Rating ]
Valjariia is an attacking midfielder who was trained at the Turoki Academy. Valjariia tends to come on the pitch to provide an attack boost, some times as a second attacking midfielder in a substitute role. Valjariia played professionally for Inland Peaks FC before moving to the Turoki Tide

[ 55 ] Viliaka Morasita [ - Cednia Beach AFC (TUR) - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 34 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.13 Average Rating ]
Morasita was the top prospect coming out of the Tivali Academy, playing central and left midfield. His sure footed tackling ability is noted but he is a well balanced midfielder. After playing a season and a half professionally for Alikki-Corra, Morasita joined the Vilitan League with Inland Peaks FC midway through VLeague 27. After spending 3 succesful seasons in the Declasse, Morasita transferred to Stellar Division side Cednia Beach AFC during Season 31.

FORWARDS:

[ 13 ] Yves Gadois [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 18 CAPS: 19 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.52 Average Rating ]
Gadois became a hot topic in Vilita after rising to glory as the spearhead for Strike FC's Vleague 27 championship, with 8 league goals and an incredibly 6 goals in the Vilitan Cup. Gadois, a product of the Inland Academy, earned an invitation to the National Team Training camp for the first time in the build up to World Cup 58.

[ 17 ] Viji-mara Lawaai [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 49 :: GOALS::SR: 11 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.56 Average Rating ]
Trained at the Strike Academy, Lawaai has excelled at shooting from long range, and making space on the edge of the penalty area with crafty turns, and may produce opportunities for free kicks if he wears down the opposition approaching the box. Lawaii made 8 substitute appearances during World Cup 57 qualifying, making his competitive debut against Krytenia, but failed to find the scoresheet.

[ 43 ] Kristofer Kilpter [ - Cednia Beach AFC (TUR) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 47 :: GOALS::SR: 13 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.31 Average Rating ]
Kilpter is joint Vilitan & Turori national, but declared to play for Vilita, with the lure of World Cup competition in Vilita's entry into World Cup 57 the key decision maker after the Turorian side was not entered. Kilpter netted 4 times during the World Cup 57 campaign but missed three matches due to an undisclosed injury. After struggling to win silverware with the Yeaddin Owls, Kilpter made the Largest Transfer in V-League history (12.7 kT) to Turorian side Cednia Beach. The transfer was more than double the 4.5kT previous transfer record in the Vilitan League, which was also payed by Cednia Beach to Yeaddin (for Antonis Siazzu).

[ 19 ] Jukkia Diijelhma [ - Kionao Locals - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 13 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Born in Starblaydia, Diijelhma moved to Turori following V-League Season 26 to pursue a new career in the Island Emirate. Diijelhma was one of the few Kionao Locals players in their disasterous V-League 27 season to receive even neutral reviews. Despite scoring no goals on the season, the Striker showed some skill that was required for the Locals to avoid another relegation in Season 28, and also proved to be useful for the Turori National team.

[ 15 ] Sirkii Moliaudo [ - Makosile - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 37 :: GOALS::SR: 9 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.17 Average Rating ]
Moliaudo is a real force in front of goal, rarely missing from inside the penalty area. Many eyes were on Moliaudo during the World Cup Campaign, to see how he fared with a new partner in attack, having spent his entire development partnered with Xcnaio Bansoa at the Coastal Academy. Moliaudo mostly performed well netting 4 goals and having a strong rating, but still left some wondering if there was more talent to be mined from the Marine Coast youngster. After Bansoa left Marine Coast for greener pastures, Moliaudo remained and his stock also decreased. After a second relegation with Marine Coast, Moliaudo jumped ship up the Vilitan coast to Kiiarana City.

[ 49 ] Xcnaio Bansoa [ - Yeaddin Owls AFC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 15 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.03 Average Rating ]
Bansoa was a training partner of Sirkii Moliaudo at the Coastal Academy, and many believed that Moliaudo's prowess in front of goal was due solely to his close partnership with Bansoa. After not being called to the line during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Bansoa decided it was time for a change, breaking ties with Moliaudo and Marine Coast United, signing for Arcticala Inlet in the Stellar Division. Bansoa featured frequently for the Jungle Cats during the World Cup 58 Campaign, performing well, but scoring no goals, relegating him from the top selection in the subsequent Cup of Harmony held in Vilita and New Montreal States.

Postby Falcania » Thu Jul 19, 2012 10:08 am

Another season, another chance for Falcania to take to the field of battle! And by battle we do, as always, mean that footie-ball thing that the kids on the continent keep talking about. The novelty has worn off for Falcanian viewers, but Boaris Alp keeps on chugging away, trying to justify his Directorate's stipend from the Treasury, and trying not to have to return to his old job as Chief Technology Officer for JayBalls, the Free Kingdom's premier (and only) manufacturer of sporting equipment, currently under investigation for its status primarily as an organised crime front.

However, against the backdrop of the ongoing humanitarian crisis caused by the Wight Catastrophe, and the Falcanian Combined Strike Force's presence in the relief effort, it would be churlish not to at least send last year's squad.

In the interests of fairness and scientific theory, Boaris Alp has appointed Joha Kruppie for the second season running. Kruppie, lest we forget, has failed to hold down a regular coaching gig like this in four years. Let's hope he does better than the second-to-last place finish that the Falcons accomplished last season...

The squadron looks like this - the starting XI highlighted in Falcon Orange. The formation shall be 1-5-3-2.

Sentinels
1 Rarnin Harst (Integral FC)
18 Hebie Treolot (Bachman & Associates)
13 Sams Nertrin (Airsweep FE)
Rarnin Harst is the captain of the Falcons and is known as the level-headed influence on the team.

Guardians
83 Morthal Terinax (Icarus)
44 Yrion Kork (UMANST)
23 Tor Heyaldor (Matsundai)

3 Graehm Fortt (Integral)
4 Luys Boford (Integral)
35 Woltar Crafter (Associated Digital)

36 Jhon Mathis (Associated Digital)
Morthal Terinax's highly aggressive tackling style has been one to watch in recent seasons. Keep your physios handy!

Proteans
54 Qail Pronotiro (Glowsnap)
38 Nicci Alleun (Associated Digital)

37 Thim Rais (Associated Digital)
39 Cristof Foil (Associated Digital)
9 Danniol Parkar (Integral)
Qail Pronotiro has shown a remarkable degree of agility, playing wherever he is needed on the field. A shoo-in for captaincy, some hame said.

Spearheads
33 Colan Battes (Associated Digital)
6 Thax Akirax (Integral FC)

21 Cherald Marthiew (Matsundai)
12 Serent Porilon (Goldmund-Teller)
The ongoing rivalry between Battes and Akirax, the top spearheads in the Free Kingdom, is likely to continue to be a cause for entertainment.

The Kits, as designed by Barrengeka Inc. and modelled here by that corporation's native Astograthians, are attractive and eye-catching.

RP Restrictions: You have fun with it.

Temperament: Falcanians do not really understand football, in the way that they inherently understand ritual combat. As such, Association Football in Falcania is a very bloody sport. Corporate loyalty when mixed together may result in actual intra-team fighting, especially between rivals Integral and Associated Digital, who competed bitterly in the AO Champion's League last season. A so-called "friendly" between the two teams after the Champion Sword tournament resulted in the hospitalisation of AD assistant manager at the time Joha Kruppie, who is now the national team's manager. Falcanian athletes are strong, fast, agile, and quick-thinking, but as I said before, they do not really understand football.

West Guiana National Soccer Team

Head Coach
Image
Felipe Hernandez, was hired by the WG Soccer Board of Directors on July 1, 2012 as the new head coach for the WG Soccer team. Over all his experience in the coaching field is a wide variety. He was formally part of the Gemsbrook United soccer club of the United Soccer League from 2001 until he was traded to the Port Salem AFC. He retired from the USL having been part of three league championship teams. Two from Gemsbrook United (2003 & 2004), and the only league title Port Salem has won in 2008, that year he retired.
He was for one season in 2011 the intern head coach of FC George in which the team that year finished with a 3-6-9 record.
Under his direction the WGSBoD hopes that he will continue to keep the team rising to new heights

Ipeland AOCAF Roster for AOCAF 36
Despite their failures last time out, the selecting commitee have announced a essentially unchanged roster for the competition. Three changes have been made to the line-up, Unique Robinson replaced by Justin Bailey and Matthew Taylor replacing James Spray. The two free slots on the bench will also be replaced as well, by Myron Dene and Gayle Goddard

GK: James Gunn - Walkden University - 21 - 185cm
James Gunn is still one of Walkden University's biggest players, contributing to another league win with some top quality goalkeeping. There was a small controversy over whether he should be allowed to play, which lead to a change in the age limit in the league, brought up to 24. Doing a PhD in Welsh.

RD - Justin Bailey - Trumpton University - 19 - 187cm
A decent defender, good enough for this team in any case. A very hard tackler, loud and often argues with officials for extended periods of time, which had lead to lots of cards, setting the record for the highest number of cards in a season in Ipeland, with 28 yellows and 7 reds. Final year of studying Engineering

CD: Colin Fielder - Caelon University - 20 - 175cm
Much the same person as last time, except for being a few years older and a few centimetres taller. Hard tackling style and tendency to get into trouble with the refs for whatever reason is only outmatched by Bailey. The two of them will make a perfect partnership at the back, hopefully not causing any damage. Studies media.

CD: James Sharp - Pendleton Technical College - 18 - 179cm
A defender who has changed radically over the two years since he last did the AOCAF, in contrast to the rest of the team, who haven't changed much at all. Much better player than last time out with almost perfect passing, and rather good marking. His intelligence appears to have increased a lot too. Still studies Music, still rubbish at it..

LD: D.J. Canavan - Eccles University - 20 - 175cm
The same as last time, average player, who can do most things decently. Is about average height for his age and average weight. Still doing average at university, where he is studying geography.

RM: Sebastion Cichon - University of the Vant Isles - 19 - 177cm
Cichon appears to be a great prospect, and many clubs are going to want to buy him when he moves out of university in a few years time. Great crossing which would make most wingers jealous. Finishing is another strong point of his, scoring in most games, often with a powerful shot from the edge of the area. Studies Mathematics.

CM: Alex Carting - Walkden University - 18 - 176cm
The best known player in the squad, and by far the one with the most caps and international goals. Returning to the squad after not featuring in the last AOCAF, recovering from an ankle injury before being struck down with flu, which made the teams progress harder than usual. Back in the squad, fully fit (we hope). Studies Business.

LM: Danny Potter - Universty Burnden - 17 - 164cm
Small for his age, which in turn make him more agile than most. Probably the best player in Burnden's poor squad, the top scorer in the team and the player with the most assists. Considered the second best winger in the league behind Cichon. Good crossing and finishing. Studies Art.

AMR: Ravania Frattastan - University of the Vant Isles - 21 - 170cm
Good attacking midfielder, more devoted to her studies than to football, but included in the squad to encourage her to focus on football. Half decent passing and very fast. Studies Biology.

ST - Matthew Taylor - Eccles University - 18 - 183cm
A surprise inclusion last time and even more surprising this times. Taylor is considered one of the worst attackers in the students league. Now a bench warmer after a string of consistently bad performances. His only merit is long throw-ins. Studies Latin.

AML: John Carting - Eccles University - 19 - 176cm
Cousin of Alex who also plays football for a different university. Progressed rather well over the two years he has been playing, now better at throw-ins than before, and improving on his penalties. Studies Buisness and IT.

Substitutes
GK - Luke Evans - Salfordon Tech - 20 - 186cm
RD - Myron Dene - Walkden University - 16 - 162cm
CD - Nathaniel Hill - Trumpton University - 18 - 176cm
CM - Mason Cooper - University College F.C. Students - 20 - 172cm
ST - Gayle Goddard - Universty Burnden - 17 - 171cm

With the player crisis now worse than ever for the AOCAF selectors, with even the university teams not allowing their players to play, things got things got desperate. With no other available options, they had to resort to the last option, affectionately known as 'Plan Z-', which has never been revealed until now. Plan Z- lists all people called James Smith from the ages of 16-60, within the country of Ipeland, on a database. When opened, the database would randomize the list and show the first 18 people (16 players, 1 manager, 1 assistant), who would then be told they would be playing for the team.

OOC: This is beautiful. Just beautiful.

Representing the Pacitalian Republic
in international men's football

The Pacitalians, seven-time winners of the regional trophy, have returned
for their 25th consecutive appearance at the AOCAF Cup. A respectable third-place finish at
AOCAF Cup 35 has cemented the start of the Narciso Pennachetti era, and expectations are
ever higher. Can the Pacitalian manager bring home an eighth trophy? It will be a tough slog,
there is no doubt — the departures of Ambrosino Giurimano and Andolfabio Vunghiasso have
created a big void even if lots of big-match experience is still present in the starting XI.

This Cup, the Foxes may be one of the youngest squads to hit the pitch, with several
players on the team with birthdays in 1990 or later. No doubt Pacitalian hopes will rest
on the calm leadership of Michelangelo Mascagnano as much as on the revamped front
line of Cadi Herrera, Xabi Ferrán and Demi Santos. It's the first time ever that an ethnically
Pacitalian player has not fronted the Pacitalian attack, reflecting the multicultural
and multiethnic nature of the sport in the republic.

Official AOCAF XXXVI Kits
Image
Colors --- Whites --- Alternates --- Keepers

Colors: In World Cups long past, the Geisenfried national team sought to separate themselves from other team uniforms by introducing a chequered kit, based off the red and black quartering on the royal family's coat of arms. With their return to the pitch after a long dormancy, the team has once again broken out a variation for primary use in international competition. This kit is their preferred uniform, and will generally be worn so long as it does not clash with the opponent's kit as the away side, or by specific request.

Whites: The go-to second kits for the Geisenfried national team for use on the road, when necessity or request demands a primarily white kit. Otherwise not notable.

Alternates: Based off a set of kits of old, lovingly known domestically as the "Bettian alternates" for being hastily adopted on the fly right before a mid-WC30s knockout match with Bettia, known for their widespread cultural distrust of the color red. This black and gold kit sees use if both of the other kits clash with their opponents as the away side, on certain special occasions, and of course, when facing a nation with the pathological fear of the color red, as Geisenfried strives to be nothing if not culturally sensitive.

Keeper: Originally, Geisenfried keeper kits were black like the current alternates - indeed, the Bettian alternates were originally derived from a small surplus of black keeper kits, altered to have outfield player names and numbers. However, this meant that the base keeper kit had to be changed. The decision was made to invert the base colors, leading to the current coloration.

Regarding RP permissions - so long as I don't have to replace a large chunk of my roster or fend off an invasion, I probably won't have a problem with it. I only ask you be sensible.

With the Draggonnii Socialist Empire playing host to WC61 with Valanora, the Sea Dragons need to be doing something so you will not get the girls squad this time, here come the Big Dawgs.

You can do anything you like short of killing off players

Squad Name: Sea Dragons

Home Pitch: Stadii se Draggonnii Arcea
Image

Colors: Deep Sky Blue & Yellow[b]

Style: [b]Tidal Surge 3-2-2-1-2
(-2 defensive)

*

About the Tidal Surge
The Tidal Surge formation is a hybrid style that makes use of athleticism in key “flex” positions that allow the formation to ebb and flow between styles to take advantage of personnel match-ups and break opportunities. At any point in the match the Tidal Surge can more remind viewers and opponents of a 5-3-3 (most often) or a 3 4-3 (least often) but can usually be found flexing in between those extremes.
Three key positions make this formation work. The offensive midfielder with which everyone is familiar and the two hybrid positions called “UP” backs. These two positions are a direct cross between center midfielders and outside backs. These two positions use athletic ability to move up and down the pitch changing the formation to fit the needs of current needs. Thus at any one moment the formation can resemble anything from a 3-4-3 to a 3-5-2 to a 5-3-2 creating, quite nearly, the perfect positions for almost any situation.

Other style notes:
“Smashmouth Footy”. That is how the Sea Dragons play when at their best. They prefer the motto “Hit First, Ask Forgiveness Later” and yet they have become adept enough as to remain just on the safe side of the cards so many other squads get. When you play the Sea Dragons two truths are evident - 1: You had better be ready to play tough and 2: you had better be ready for rough play.

Coaching Staff

Manager: Kymykera Wu’eres Age:49
A defensive specialist in her playing days and as an assistant coach, Kymy now steps into the spotlight as Manager of the Sea Dragons. The shoes left by Mace as he says goodbye are rather huge but if anyone can fill them it is Kymy. She is loved by players and fans alike and yet is as unforgiving in training and game management as her predecessor.

Offensive Asst: Seyai At’roluii Age:27
As brilliant a run as the Sea Dragons had during World Cup 59, offensive ability was at the forefront very little. In fact, the squad averaged less than a goal per match in an unbeaten qualification. The scoring did pick up in the Cup proper but remained inconsistent. If this area does not improve, Seyaii could find herself coaching only U19s once more.

Midfield Asst: Nonari Em'ran'oz Age:45
Nonari was the coaching staff find that the Sea Dragons had been searching for. Finally the center of the pitch was not a liability in WC 58 and was brilliant in WC 59. Now it is key that the improvements continue as the Sea Dragons attempt to copy their third place showing.

Defenders Asst: Laia Un’jeru’betcii Age:37
Lie Kymy before her, Laia makes the jump from world class player to fledgling coach. Her fire and tenacity on the pitch will hopefully translate to a continued on the pitch success for her defense. Also listed as a resrve, Laia could find herself playing before this run is over if injuries occur or new talent does not develop quickly.

Goalkeeper Asst Koyinii Os'ina Age:43
Few position coaches are as lucky as Koyinii as Sanlioch as emerged as an All-World keeper and Ban’engo could start for more than three-quarters of the nations present if they were that lucky. Fortunately they are not.

Forwards

RS 12 Jaqinze Irin’arbor 19 5’5 134
Utica United (Osarius)
Jonasei is now retired as the greatest goal scoring threat in ASMV history. The pressure is high on this former U19 standout to perform well. On paper she stacks up very well. On the pitch - well that remains to be seen.

LS 17 Fekelii Nab’ibakii F 30 5’9 135
Errion Vega FK
Overshadowed by Ariq’Alara, Fekelii now has no choice but to step up and be the leader on the attack. She has tended to disappear in matches as she bogs herself down by thinking too much. It is time for her to let loose and score or she will find herself headed home quickly.

F 52 Banjuru Shr‘tuu M 21 5’11 171
Shalerix FK
The second leading scorer of the VAFK last season, Banjuru is taing advantage of new rules that allow league players to also play for the national side. Should either starter falter, he will be more than ready to have their spot.

[b}Midfielders[/b]

OM 10 Kylek Ale'ack M 32 6’1 185
TFC Anymore (Civil Citizenry)
Kylek is a distributor from the offensive midfield who will take a shot if given proper opportunity. Now with experience, Kylek is set to lead the charge forward with his brilliant crosses. If he can improve his on-ball skills in transition he will become a very dangerous player in his own right.

RM 11 .Bareqii Ulu’namo F 18 5’5 120
Carrington FK
Brought up to join the national side following the massive success in the AOCAF, Bareqii is a magician when on ball. Cat-quick and with speed to spare she should add some excitement to the middle of the pitch. Do not worry over her young age, she competed well against the best AO had to offer as well as the best (Save Aguazul and TBI) the world had to offer.

LM 29 Akaok Kapekeoa M 33 6’5 210
Et’ai Zirakul
A native Zirakulii, it has taken more than ten years for Akaok to be accepted by the general Vegai public. Now, however, fans cheer when the grass-skirt-clad, body paintrd warrior takes the pitch. Go ahead and let his tribal look fool you. Akaok relishes the chance to prove himself against those who deem themselves to be superior players.

M 39 Turlin Ironbeard M 138 4’5 155
Stonengarten Sarud
Turlin excels at using his small stature to lose himself among the bigger players and come out cleanly with the ball. Kylek and the strikers should benefit from his ability to play the ball forward with pinpoint precision.

Up-Backs

RUB 13 Osurun Ayami M 21 6’5 175
Darmen City FC (Darmen)
A native of the newly acquired territories of Mara-kai, Osurun is a perfect blend of size and speed for the up-back position. Deceptively fast, the youngster looks awkward at times but has a knack for being in the right place. He will be pushed hard by reserve Xia Cuolai, another Mara-Kaii player with more experience but without his natural skill.

LUB 14 Nelijibii Sam'roth'oq F 28 6’0 150
FK Kelsey
The best true up-back the Sea Dragons have fielded since Kymykera, Nelijibii has the potential to become the best player on the pitch. she dictates the pace of not only the opposition’s attack but her own side’s pace while in transition.

UB 69 Xia Cuolai F 224 5’6 135
Loire-Mourenx
Xia is a solid, if unspectacular, player who knows her limits and excels by staying within them. She feels slighted that Osurun was chosen to join the starting eleven rather than her and will make the best of any chance she gets to prove the staff wrong.

Backs

RB 50 Ombar Stonewall M 161 4’10 140
Stonengarten UH
A hard hitting, hard rocking, Dwarf who loves to show bigger players just how tough they are not, Ombar excels at punishing those who challenge him directly (within the rules of the game, of course). Has taken a cue from Akaok and now wears traditional Dwarven War Facepaint for every match.

CB 27 Karinzui Sa’astre F 17 5’8 145
Utica United (Osarius)
Another of the U19 girls side, Kari should be ready to fill the void left by Laia. She plays with a reckless abandon that leaves opposing attackers running for their lives. If she can learn when to hit, a place where Laia excelled, she will be a star in nno time at all.

LB 54 Ozyxomidruin Lamas’Porii M 28 5’10 156
Charleston Athletic (Osarius)
Another thug on the back line, Ozyx tends to be the stabilizer for the back three - a role he has had to grow into. Now comfortable with calling the assignments of the defense he can focus more on the punishment he loves to dish out.

B 97 Sammala Usikoec M 19 6’4 230
Another grass-skirt clad Ziraulii who looks to make a name for himself, Samm is a very physical back.

Keepers

K 99 Sanlioch Bez’Al M 28 6’3 242
Errion Vega FK
This pudgy, young player has come a long way from the pudgy, unwashed kid who challenged Mace to give him a chance. He has also become a world-class keeper that allows very few goals at all.

K 84 Eathohatu Ban'engo M 26 6’5 205
Vegai 4th Quad
A very capable reserve in his own right, most sides wish there starter were this solid.
Champions: AORBC II (Women's Champs); AOHC IV; Cup of Harmony 44, 49, & 54; Baptism of Iron VBrevity Challenge Cup 3

Montblanc Resigns, Barca-Carthy Tops OFA Wanted List

With the Thirty-sixth instalment of the AOCAF Cup just a couple of weeks away, the Osarian Football Assocation are yet to announce a replacement for Alain Montblanc, who stepped down as national team manager abruptly two weeks ago. The only Firebirds manager in history to lead the nation to the World Cup finals cited the desire for a "new challenge" as a major factor, though he has declined the post of National Academy Director in Osarius in the past week. Some have suggested that the former under-21s manager felt "underappreciated" by Osarian football fans, who turned on him in the wake of the team's disappointing qualifying campaign for World Cup 60, yet his fellow professionals still have him leading the ballot for induction into the World Cup Hall of Fame.

It's hard to tell exactly what Montblanc's reasoning and motivations were, but it does leave the OFA in a quandary. With a major tournament on the horizon, whoever takes over will have the unenviable task of selecting and preparing a squad in just one week. Despite that, the Osarius manager's position has never had so much interest. Among the leading candidates are Elissa Barca-Carthy, who has managed the national team on a "caretaker" basis in the past; Trothwands manager Jonathan Herd, who refuses to respond to the speculation; Hastmead manager Amandeep Sahota, who has managed the olympic team in the past; and remarkably, a "team" made up of former national team captains Jermain Lewis and Benni Watson. Many have suggested, based on press comments from certain board members, that the OFA might select a new manager on a temporary basis for the AOCAF Cup only, and appoint a full-time boss in the aftermath, though some pundits have criticised this approach. Roberto Cormega, who is currently the front-runner to become the new Grasshoppers Turic manager this summer, spoke on his blog about the whole debacle.

"I might not be a part of the OFA board of directors, but I can't help but think this 'temporary manager' idea is ridiculous. All it does is effectively write-off the AOCAF as a throwaway tournament, and make the entire national team setup have to reset afterwards. Effectively, if they do this, whoever does get the job will be at a massive disadvantage. If they appoint a manager now, and let them stay on after the AOCAF, though, they could use that time to develop, and plan ahead. That way we can still compete in the AOCAF without embarassing ourselves, while blooding a few younger players, and getting valuable tournament experience for not just players, but the new manager."
- Roberto Cormega, academydropout.osr

Cormega's comments are heavily supported by former Osarius manager Benedict di Corradi, who has often spoken out against the OFA's decisions in the past. The Arcaea County Director of Football called it "another way the OFA are crippling managers and making it harder to succeed" and remarked on how it was "nothing short of incredible" that Alain Montblanc achieved any success at all with the national team.

With the manager's position still not entirely clear, the squad cannot be confirmed either, though it is assumed that whoever takes over will continue the practice of selecting a largely, if not entirely, under 25 squad, which looks set to be semi-codified as part of Montblanc's OFA Directive for player development. With that in mind, several key players for the national team will be excluded, including Alessandro di Corradi, Romario Roberts and Conor Kinsella. With Osarius not entering the most recent Di Bradini Cup, or sending a team to the Olympics this time around, it is exceedingly hard to gauge the ability our younger players against their peers from other nations, though the OFA seems confident that the selection process does not require any change. The OFA expects to name the new manager within 72 hours, with the squad to follow within the week.

OOC: All characters here are based off the British television series Red Dwarf. More information on the characters mentioned can be found here. Three characters aren't mentioned on that list. All characters appear in episodes from Series I-Back to Earth

Hutt River roster for World Cup 60
AKA: The Smegs

GK – Dave Lister [Series I-Back to Earth]

The last human male alive in the universe due to an accident leaving him in stasis for three million years, and has been a main character throughout the show. He wrongly thinks he is a fantastic guitarist, he is lazy and dirty. His life dream was to buy a small farm on Fiji. He is normally dressed in a leather jacket and hat, and his two best shirts have curry stains down the front of them.

RD - Duane Dibbley [Series V, Series VI, Series VIII]

Duane Dibbley is the dorky alter-ego of the Cat, who has a pudding basin haircut and big overbite. Ace Rimmer describes him as "looking so geeky, he couldn't even get into a science fiction convention".

CD – Arnold Rimmer [Series I-Back to Earth]

Lister's bunkmate brought back to life as a hologram to keep Lister sane. He is unpopular with his crew mates, and is often the target of insults and pranks. He wore an "H" symbol on his forehead, which stands for "Hologram", but this has since gone.

CD – Ace Rimmer [Series IV, Series VI, Series VII]

An alter-ego of Arnold Rimmer, who is modest despite being a popular, knowledgeable daredevil hero. Anyone who comes into contact with Ace exclaims "What a guy!" in adoration.

CD – Kristine Kochanski [Series I, Series II, Series VI, Series VII-Back to Earth]

Red Dwarf's Navigation Officer who was the object of Lister's lust before she was killed by a radiation leak. In Series VII, the crew discover an alternate universe where Kochanski survived with Lister as her hologram. She ends up stuck on Starbug and becomes one of the crew.

LD – Olaf Petersen [Series I, mentioned many times]

A Danish catering officer on the Red Dwarf mining vessel, and best friend of Lister. He and Lister's other friends spend their free time getting drunk. Killed with the other crew in the Radiation leak

RM – Ramses Niblick the Third Kerplunk Kerplunk Oops Where's My Thribble [Series IV (mentioned)]

A former friend of Kryten, who, like Holly, suffers from computer senility. His real name is Gilbert. He popped up in a conversation about computer senility.

CM – Frankenstein [Series I]

Frankenstein was a common housecat, who was sealed in the hold when the radiation leak happened. The Cat calls Frankenstein the Holy Mother.

LM – Kryten [Series II, Series III-Back to Earth]

Kryten is a neurotic Series 4000 mechanoid robotic servant. He is humanoid, with the exception of the flat cubical face and head. Once the personal servant of three attractive female crew members of the Nova 5, he was found and rescued by Lister who has been teaching Kryten to "break his programming" in order to develop his own personality and develop human character faults (such as the ability to lie).

ST – Talkie Toaster [Series I, Series IV]

An annoying talking toaster, who offers toasted stuff at every possible opportunity. He was destroyed with a 14lb lump hammer by Lister, before being repaired by Kryten.

ST – The Cat [Series I-Back to Earth]

A humanoid descendant of a modern house cat called Frankenstein, which had been Lister's pet cat. The cat society (Felis erectus) left Red Dwarf seeking the promised land, leaving behind those who were too ill or old to travel. The Cat is the son of the cripple and the idiot.

Substitutes
GK - Holly [Series I-V, VII, VIII, Back to Earth]

Holly is the ships' computer. Holly's user interface appears on the ship's screens as a disembodied human head on a black background, he can also be downloaded onto most television screens, and can roam around on a monitor mounted on a cart. Holly regularly proclaims that he has an IQ of 6000, though there are frequent references to the fact that it is now much lower due to three million years alone, referred to as "computer senility."

CD – Quagaar warrior [Series I (mentioned)]

The Quagaars are an alien species made up by Rimmer, after a garbage pod entered the ship. The warrior is essentially a discarded roast chicken.

LM – Mr. Flibble [Series V]

A hand puppet penguin used by Rimmer when he was taken over by 'Hex virus', often 'Very cross.'

CM - Queeg [Series II]

Queeg was a practical joke played by Holly to make him appreciate him being there. Queeg claims that Holly's IQ is not 6,000 but 6 and that Holly gets his information from a children's science book. He uses an oppressive command style and is prone to unprovoked angry outbursts.

ST - Skutter [Series I, Series III, Series VIII, Back to Earth]

A motorised service and maintenance robot. A 2 feet tall motorized box, with one limb, with three claws on the end. Skutters' behaviour is rather human like, they play cowboys-and-Indians, enjoy watching films and often gives the finger to Rimmer

The Home of Vilitan club Strike FC, the stadium has undergone several renovations, name changes and expansions in its long history, which includes being a knockout venue for the World Cup 17 and 31 finals, as well as hosting the exciting World Cup 59 Final between The Babbage Islands and Aguazul.

Group C Brought to you by the Canary
Wight
Bazalonia

Osarius

Arcticala Electrical Stadium, Arcticala, Vilita (90,277 Seated)
Home Club: Arcticala Inlet AFC

The Bear Claw Stadium is not known for hosting international events, but was accepted as a portion of the 'Turorian' half of the AOCAF 36 draw over competing bids from Terrasport Park and the smaller Riailia Cliff Stadium, both geographically closer to Turori.

Almintora National Stadium - Almintora, Turori (79,000 Capacity)
Home Club: FC Almintora
The Almintora National Stadium hosts both the Turori National Team, and Vilitan League side FC Almintora on a regular basis throughout the season. The stadium originally had a capacity of 45,000 when built, but was expanded to its current capacity as a host site for World Cup 17 and 19 Finals.

Mliona Stadium - Mliona, Turori (90,500 Capacity)
Home Club: Mliona-Lpaka Turori AFC

Legalese Presents...

The National Team Roster for AOCAF XXXVI

As usual, players are sorted by shirt number, age, and club (if applicable):

(The Usual) Starters:
GK: 12 - Bobby Johnson, 24, Selinstown Chiefs. With the decision to go young for the AOCAF, Bobby will join the starting lineup for the first time in his international career, having spent the previous World Cup campaign as the third choice in the net. If he’s ever to have a shot to replace/succeed Stan Thate on a permanent basis, he’ll need to show it here.
D: 2 – Roy Whitcraft, 25, Ostia Ostriches. Roy gets his chance in the lineup after a World Cup campaign spent on the bench.
D: 3 - Liam Todd, 25, Argyle Warriors. Todd made his first start for the national team during the World Cup 60 qualifying campaign, scoring twice. With two newer defenders joining the back line, he’ll be the team’s defensive anchor.
D: 4 – Max Todd, 22, Argyle Warriors. Max first was named to the National Team for the previous Cup of Harmony, but received no playing time. That said, some think he’ll be better than his brother, who is already a National Star at age 25.
DM: 5 - Sam Washington, 25, Bob's Towing. Sam is known for his ability to play back as a fourth defender if necessary, but will generally press forward. At a young age, Sam is still heavy on international experience, with this being his third AOCAF.
M: 14 – Jack Wayne, 23, Brecorn City. Jack, previously a reserve during WC60, gets his trial appearances with the NT, and will receive his first cap in the opening match.
M: 7 - Monte Kelshimer, 24, Tiberian City. Monte, now at twenty-two caps for the National Team, is a bit of a youngster to the side, having only the previous cup cycle of experience.
M: 15 – Lane Wilson, 18, Unassigned. Wilson, when the team takes the pitch on matchday one, will be the youngest player in National Team history. While officially not attached to a club, a strong performance here will help potential suitors for the Binchensburg product make a decision on him.
F: 9 - Garry Maharry, 25, Bob's Towing. Garry started the last cycle as a reserve, only to find himself in the lineup as a withdrawn forward – initially replacing his club teammate, Jimmy Jay, in that role. He now has fourteen starts and fifteen appearances internationally, and looks to remove any doubt about his future on the NT with a strong AOCAF.
F: 10 - Jimmy Jay, 24, Bob's Towing. Jay has a history of being hot and cold; he electrified in AOCAF 34, scoring ten goals in five matches, then scored another four goals in qualifying; flash forward to the next AOCAF, and Jay finds himself benched mid-way through. He came back on, initially as a withdrawn forward, but scored six goals since moving up top with Bassford.
F: 11 - Kelvin Bassford, 25, FC Sandside (Civil Citizenry) Kelvin may be Legalese's first true international star - a heck of a feat, for a 250-year-old country. He skipped the last AOCAF, but is back again, after another strong qualifying campaign, standing at 21 international goals. The shades only come off when on the pitch.

Reserves:
13 – Kenny Stroud, 17, Unassigned (from Tyrellia, Karin Islands) (D)
16 – Xavier Boyle, 20, Bob’s Towing (F)
17 - Fred Rutledge, 23, Francis City (F)
18 - Dwight Marcus, 19, Rhinos (D)
19 – Ty Henderson, 18, Unassigned (From Sagdineo, Mainland) (M)
20 – Titus Armistead, 18, The Knights of Tiberia (M)
21 – Sherwood Hendry, 21, Ellentown Exempts (M)
22 – Tarquin Waldrop, 18, Myre Town (GK)

Manager - Hamish McKinley. Hamish, 31, takes over managing duties for the AOCAF only, as per regular manager Gabe Cushing's extension with the Federation. A product of a brewing family in Binchensburg, McKinley's choice to buck the family business and play soccer was a shock - further solidified by choosing to coach, after a back injury ended his hopes of playing professionally.
Assistant - Mark Barbour. Mark, 37, is a native of the southeastern town of Myre, and was a player and assistant manager for the Myre Town side for over a decade, before moving to Binchensburg, and becoming the primary Assistant at Bob's Towing, before Cushing tapped him for the NT job four years ago. Now, two cycles in, Mark is rumored to be up for a return to Bob's Towing if/when their current manager retires, but for now will have to settle for being passed over by his younger colleague on the NT.

Last, but not least, here are the kits for the AOCAF/the upcoming World Cup Cycle:

-Group Evaluations-
Vilita- A storied program full of stories and legends and championships of it's own. Projected to win the group with dominating roster. Oh, and they are the host of the entire tournement, the home fans might play a factor.

Hutt River- A puppet of Ipeland, which has a storied football program of it's own, Hutt River is an wierd collection of everything from a cat to a hologram on their team. Projected to finish second in the group.

95x- Historically a football powerhouse, internal problems might hender their success in this tournement. They are projectted to end up in third of the group.

Leorudo- Puppet of New Pebble Island, which came in fifth in last years Baptism of Fire, Leorudo is the newbie of the group. Having a completly untested roster, expected to due nothing out of the ordinary, projected for last place.

Home Away Third

Manager
Seydiya At’rod’uin (Andossa Se Mitrin Vega) (F)
Age: 34
A Vegan who seems a brilliant tactician after her three World Cup campaigns in charge, taking the Marauders back to the Semifinals, the Quarterfinals, and nabbing third in this last cycle. The youngest person to have ever filled a role in the Vanorian national team system, she was appointed manager after the Pocoan Sloan's failure to get to the quaterfinal stage in back to back tournaments. The pressure has been lifted off her for a cycle after getting the Maruaders another top three finish. Finishing well in the AOCAF after many Vanorian failures in event would go even further to cement her place as one of the best to ever helm the side.

Assistant Manager
Clin Massai
Age: 10, 799
The mind behind Hondo FC's rise to power, he is another one of the assistants who plays mediator between the manager and the staff.

Keeper

Veryasirion Dart, Raynor City United
1 GK
Age - 671
Sex - M
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 181lbs
The back up who has finally been given a chance to show that his success at the domestic level is no fluke.

Defenders

2 Ainglad Gwavaul, Ousevale Borough (Krytenia) ~
Age - 656
Sex - M
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 140 lbs
A hybrid defender who can play as a wingback or a full back. One of the more aggressive defenders to make it on the team and will take chances to go up the flank and use his exceptional crossing ability to generate attacking opportunities.

3 Amonron Eleneth, AC Valanari
Age - 679
Sex - M
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 171 lbs
Quick for his size, Eleneth is the prototypical centerback who stymies any and every foray opposition bring into the box.

4 Thankanion Elenelwa, Mar Sara FC
Age - 615
Sex - M
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 180 lbs
A strong and physical presence that will put some bite into the backline alongside Titenburg.

Midfield

21 Espy va Drake, Yuba United (Paripana)
Age: 732
Sex - M
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 159 lbs
After becoming a folklore hero for the lower class of the world, va Drake has made himself one of the living legends of the game after help leading the side to a title in World Cup 53. He has traveled far and wide while plying his trade, donning kits for no less than four countries clubs, and finally returned him when he signed with United before last season. Seen as the driving force in the middle of the park alongside Hawk, it is up to the opposition to try and figure out how to deal with the brilliance the winger and his other attackers have rather than them to create magic.

6 Aintôrthea Durosa, Cafundó do Juta (Cafundeu)
Age - 741
Sex - F
Height: 5"10"
Weight: 144 lbs
Durosa is one of those players that can play just about any position, as her skill set is vast and adequate in multiple areas. She proved herself exceptionally well in her CMSC seasons before it went defunct, nabbing goals and assists with regularity and has continued with her transfer to the Cafundeu league since. Her good knowledge of va Drake's typical playing patterns has made the two to be a devastating pair for the opposition to contain.

14 Laborious Hawk, Petardos S/A (Cafundeu)
Age - 696
Sex -M
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 213 lbs
Words do not even began to define his talent, his talent defines words. He was awarded one of the spots that the Vanorians have in the World Cup Hall of Fame, with it being very well deserved, as he has and continues to earn everything he has been given every single day.

8 Morronuth Neltanta, Wexax United ~
Age - 727
Sex - M
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 164 lbs
A strong and physical player who uses his body well when shielding off opposing players off the ball. Lacks the pace of some of the squad but is great at keeping possession and finding an outlet pass.

28 Faeron Soldarian, Raynor City United
Age - 610
Sex - M
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 163 lbs
Soldarian continues to live in the shadow of more well known players both on the national team and with his club. Despite this, Soldarian is seen by all on the squad as the emotional leader and the linchpin the in the middle that allows the more attacking minded midfielders being allowed to play their game.

Strikers

9 Allandren Fresco, Petardos S/A (Cafundeu)
Age - 485
Sex - M
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 167 lbs
Fresco has proved once again that he is suited for any role that his managers wish to give him, easily adjusting to Aerataur's style of play and learning his preferred moves. A great shot and football IQ make him a very dangerous attacker for the Marauders.

10 Tûrin Aerataur, Hondo FC ~
Age - 761
Sex - M
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 156 lbs
Long has he been Hearts strike partner at Hondo, now he replaces the legendary striker on the national team and will look to make use of his dynamic shot to keep the sting of the Vanorian attack strong.

“Hamboooooone!”

Hamish half-laughed, half-grimaced at the howling he heard on the other end of the line. “I would think a Lieutenant in the Coasties would be a little more respectful than that.”

“Lieutenant Commander, you mean, civilian.” The reply came half-indignant, half-amused. “and it’s the Coastal Defence, a branch of the Navy – though you know that.”

Hamish smiled, “I did my time, Lt. Commander Abrams. Got out, hurt the old back, and ended up here. I’d say I’m doing all right for myself.”

“…and promptly chose an inland city to work out of,” Abrams reminded him.

Hamish's video screen finally came into focus, revealing a fair-skinned brunette on the other end. She was dressed in training garb, military issued. The sight helped soften the barb Hamish felt from her previous statement.

“Yes, Emily, I know. I didn’t choose the capital of the country though – or where the team plays, just as you can’t choose where you’re deployed.”

Emily sighed. This was difficult sometimes.

“I know, and I know you know. We’ll figure this out soon enough. I figure I’ll either have a shot at full commander and my own boat soon enough, or they’ll offer me a job in the government. This seems to be when they move folks over.”

“True. How bad was the rumble up there?”

“Insane. I was woken up by it, with the whole barracks shaking. Felt like the floor was a vibrating bed, and my bed was on roller skates. What’d you feel in LC?”

“Not too much – a little shaking as well, but nothing like that. Heard it took down a building in Francis City, dropped a bit on some lawyer’s town car and killed him – but that’s the only bad thing that I’ve heard about on the mainland. Any idea what caused it?”

Emily frowned. “I’ve heard reports of some crazy seismic activity far to the north. Apparently one of the islands just simply broke apart. The rock guys are saying that it was a Mercalli V here, but a XII at the center. The outlying islands of Starblaydia took a hard hit, as did Audioslavia, and much of the Schiavone Archipelago. Could be rough.”

Hamish contemplated briefly, before continuing. “Are they deploying anyone to assist?”

Emily saw the look on his face. “We haven’t been given orders yet, though an exploratory team has headed north. We expect both the Starblaydis and the CCS to be there – the Falcanians, most likely. I’ll let you know if I go out there.”

“I’d hope you would!”

Emily laughed. “Besides, you have your own problems to worry about. Who’d you guys draw for the first round?”

“Well, we face Bazalonia first – good rep there, but little recently from them. Then there’s Wight, who’ve just established themselves in the region – not sure where, though. Then last is Osarius, who just had their manager quit on them, so they may be in a bit of disarray. It’s not the hardest group we could’ve gotten, definitely.”

“Good!” Emily smiled. “Then you shouldn’t have any problem winning the group, dominating the playoffs, then coming come so that we can celebrate properly with that cup.”

Hamish blushed. “Er, it might not be that easy. I’ve got a lot of young kids on this team. Two new defenders in the lineup, a new keeper, two new midfielders, and a whole bench of kids under 21. They’re talented, but there’s not enough experience here. I did get Kelvin to not sit this one, at least, so there’s that.”

“Nice work, babe! How’d you pull that off?”

Hamish smiled, and leaned in towards the screen. “Well, I laid the deal out for him: Gabe’s not going to manage this team forever, and could be done after this qualifying run, assuming we get in. We have no clue who’s going to be next, but the most likely options are either some other manager here who doesn’t know Citiz soccer, and doesn’t care that you play in Rushmore; or it could be me or Mark – especially if this AOCAF goes well. My goal here is to build depth with this side, which is why we went young, but we need the ringleaders still. And besides, a few more international goals won’t hurt come transfer time, right?”

Hamish leaned back. “So for Kelvin, it’s a simple choice: help out the guy who knows you, or do nothing, and put your fate in the hands of someone who doesn’t. I’ve never seen his shades come off so quickly, when he asked me about how soon he could get into the training facility.”

Emily’s eyes brightened. “Impressive,” she purred.

Behind her, an arm came onto the screen, tapping the Lt. Commander on the shoulder.

Emily frowned. “Time’s up, dear. Sorry.”

Hamish half-smiled. “Part of your job, I know. Go protect us from whatever flotsam might be reaching our shores! And seriously, stay safe out there.”

Emily smiled. “Yes, dear. Good luck to you as well.”

Days of Summer
Soccer in West Guiana
Chapter 1 Part One:
1870-1900

Around the world, it was a new sport it took hold quickly in many nations and grad the hearts and minds of both young and old, soccer has it is called or football where ever you live was invited not so long ago at this time. However though the year was 1870 and West Guiana wasn't even heard of, the nation that where live in today didn't even exist as you were taught in school our land mass that we call home was once part of the majestic Kingdom of Alkoul, 1870 was a year many would like to forget, it was the year of one of our nations worst winters, the temperatures plunged to well below zero degrees, many thousands of people had died. The Alkoulian parliament did very little to heat our homes or care for the sick and dying.

Matter of fact for those who would tell you, it was as if the Alkoulians wanted our people to die, to die because we sucked the life out of their upbeat culture with our misery and serve depression. Until that winter no one in the colony dared to speak out against the atrocites that their military had been doing to us. No one could under stand why they did such a thing, weren't we of the same color the same religion and the same species? Then why would they torture our people, that was the question hushed between others in the streets of Gemsbrook, which back then was nothing more than a dirty village of 12,000 people.

Oh my did those who lived in Gemsbrook truly hate those who lived in the colonial capital of Saint Johns. The citizen who lived in St. Johns those many years ago were considered by many in the rest of the colony as Alkouls little lapdogs, always so willing to point out spies or those who openly despised the Alkoulian government. Those in St. Johns weren't not to be trusted.

I must tell you though, when the Great Uprising of 1873 occurred then brought down with the mighty iron fist of the Alkoulian military. Afterwards a great many were executed or imprisoned. the people outside of St. Johns were at lest 70% poorer than they already were, parents that couldn't afford toys for their children, now couldn't even afford the most basic needs to live. At this great time of famine and starvation, not much joy could be found. The only sports that were allowed to be played in the colony was what the Alkoulians wanted to be played, which the only sport was Kings Soccer.
Kings Soccer in very few ways is played like normal soccer but like said in many different ways, the first oddity of the sport is that when a match begins there is only one offensive team one the field at once. The game starts at the Starting Kick Tee located at the very edge of the field farthest from the goal box. There are three offensive players on the field at one time, and there are two defensive players, and one goalie.
To move the ball down field one of the three offensive players must kick the ball from the SKT(starting kicking tee) any which way he/she wants. However though if he/she kicks it and one of the two defensive players gains possession of the ball, the ball is placed at the nearest kicking tee(KT) and one of the offensive players must kick the ball once more and to be careful of not allowing one of the def. players to gain possession, because each offense only has four chances to score on the field before the team must swap places. Each side does this twice four turns each half.

The sport was invited many centuries ago in Alkoul and when they colonized this land they brought it with them. Matter of fact that was the only sport that the Alkoulians wanted to be seen played in their colonies.

Ah..yes they knew about the other sport called soccer, but they believed theirs to be better and far more important, but even their dictoral ways of ruling those who lived in the colonies couldn't keep that unknown sport from making its way to West Guiana.

The sport in early 1876 first made some sort of appearance along the Bay de'lger cost line when a few boys between the ages of six and nine saw several Alkoulian military men kicking a ball and running around. They didn't know what they were doing since they knew fully well those men weren't playing Kings Soccer. So they crept a little closer, lucky for them the beach was littered with massive boulders so those boys were able to get a very good look at that game.

That day they were watching was very windy and one of the pieces of paper that some were reading blew at the boys. One boy picked up a piece, of course they couldn't read much since all colonial schools were banned. So they hurried home and took it to their parents. The parents read it carefully and knew what that paper was saying, how to play soccer. Now like I noted soccer in this form was strictly banned for play in the colony, but what the boys found would change this.

Now it only took less than a few days for many others around the colony looking to play this new sport. however since everyone knew that this sport was banned and anyone seeing playing this sport would be executed on the sport and all others watch would be tortured or killing also. So in the first few months (May - Oct 1877) games between local men and boys, and yes a few ladies would join in, were played in warehouses or deep in the wooded areas where the Alkoulian military would look. Well this sport took off and many people greatly loved it, in 1878 the People's Secret Soccer League was formed. The PSSL was played in the spots mentioned, there were only four teams and all four were from Gemsbrook, but people from within a 100 mile radius would try to come to see at lest one game. The first PSSL season had only nine games, and the peoples Lions Club won the first title, they played against the Rebels at the old Mining Co. Warehouse to a crowd of 56 in all. The Lions beat the Rebels 17-9.

After that first championship game, the people wanted to be able to play the sport en-masses and with out fear from the soldiers. Well that year King Piaoto acssened to the throne. He unlike the last king was very sympathetic to the people of the colony and allowed the sport to be played along with several others. For the 1880 season the PSSL expanded to ten teams, and for the third starit year in a row the Lions won the league title, this time in front of a crowd of 5,000 in St. Johns. The Lions beat the newly created team the St. Johns United Patriots in a decisive 10-0 beating in front of only those from St. Johns.

NS is just a state of mind, time has no boundary nor does our sanity.

Please ignore my senseless ramblings, I'm getting old.

"It's... FOOTBALL FRIDAY! With your hosts, Jackwell Tollioni, and Tom-Live-In-The-Studio"

"Thanks for that over-enthusiastic introduction, Jackwell. Tool. I'm Tommen Hond, and we're live here from the Airsweep TotalSport 1 Mobile Broadcasting Centre, here in Vilitan capital Alikki-Corra!"

"Kind of funny, isn't it, Tom, how you're no longer in the studio-"

"Very funny, Jack-"
"Very funny since your wife left you, Tom-"
"You're a funny guy, Jack. The Falcanian National Corporation has once again deployed its football team to the AOCAF. The Atlantian Oceania Cup of... Associated Footballs?"

"Something like that, Tom, something like that. And set against the backdrop of Falcania's ongoing involvement in the Wight Catastrophe-"

"I should point out, Jack, for the viewers at home, that Falcania's presence in north-east Atlantian Oceania is merely for relief and peacekeeping efforts,"

"Ah yes, a word from our sponsors in the Falcanian National Corporation there, Tom."

"So what about the team we're fielding this season, Jack?"

"Glad you asked, Tom-Sleeping-In-His-Car. There's actually been very little change in the lineup compared to last season. And by very little, I mean, none at all."

"Last AOCAF season was, lest we forget, the season that ended with a 24-year-old rookie sports journalist clinging to the skid of the Airsweep TotalCopter."

"It sure was, Tom-40%-Pay-Cut. Which is why they've deployed a full Airsweep Security Division to the Mobile Broadcasting Centre. Remember, fans: we've now wrangled an extraordinary rendition treaty, so don't think that being on Vilitan soil will help you if you start another riot."

"Useful advice there, Jack."

"You could have done with some useful advice last week, couldn't you, Tom?"

"First match is against Scandonia, at Lunar Park."
"Like don't score coke off an undercover Lawco"
"Where we'll face the fundamentally-untested Scandonian side. You may remember Scandonia as the tiny nation across the Carcossian Sea, to the east of our great nation."
"Or, make sure the lady you're soliciting isn't undercover Justice Inc."
"LIKE I SAID, we don't know much about them, but they are close neighbours of AOCAF royalty, Pacitalia."
"Like, really weird stuff, too."
"So we could see some kick out of these newcomers."
"What is a 'Spike City Sunset' anyway?"

[beat]

"This has been your AOCAF coverage on Airsweep TotalSport 1. Stay tuned."

"Is that the one where she uses the chilli sauce and then-"
