Malik's an instructor teaching Astronomy 101 and 102 as well as Force Application. He's also not just a pilot, he's a Pararescueman and was assigned to a multi-national superhuman black ops squad. Think Captain America meets The Punisher, sort of.Ularn wrote:Northern Dominus wrote:uuuuh Ularn, was that deliberate character ignorance on Scotts part or did you just not check Malik's profile
The latter. Its hard to find recent character sheets now that MA's ran out of space on the OP. What did I miss?
On that note: Mighty Asgard, if you're reading this, can I suggest that to free up space in the OP you get rid of all the accepted character sheets and instead just put the player's name, the character's name, and a link to the player's post where they submitted the successful application? It would use less characters than copying out the application in full and it also means that if any of us make edits to our applications for whatever reason (e.g. correcting spelling of fleshing it out) then it doesn't render the OP out of date.

So yeah, more than just a staffer, but if you want to play it as Scott not really keeping up with profiles we can roll with that

A mixture of Captain America and the Punisher is like a mixture of Cyrus the Great and Vlad Tepes III or Theodore Roosevelt and Andrew Jackson.

Name: Vincenzo "Cen" Lombardi
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Nationality: Italian
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 91kg
Hair: None
Eyes: Red, Pupil-less
Costume (if any): (Image) An all-black ensemble resembling a character from a 1930s police movie, completed with a face-concealing balaclava and mirrored aviator goggles.
Abilities: Super-Strength and web shooting
Subject: Self-Defence
Brief Bio: Vincenzo was one of several reptilian or spider-like creatures created by the Vamperial Empire in preparation for their war on humanity. Though meant to be used and discarded as another disposable shock-troop, Cen was removed from the lab and taken by a wealthy Italian family under circumstances which have never been adequately explained. It is known that while in the family's "care" Cen was abused physically and mentally, though by stealing books from the family library he was able to teach himself to read, write and give himself a general education.
At the age of five, Cen was shot in the head by one of the family servants while trying to escape. He survived, though the bullet caused irreparable damage to the part of his species' brain which governs emotions, conscience and morality. When he was twelve Cen finally escaped, massacring everyone in the house where he had spent his childhood before embarking on a five-year rampage to hunt down those who had been away at the time of his escape, and the families of his tormentors.
Though his murderous actions drew the attention of the Italian police, some followers also began to recognise him as a tragic hero figure as, along the way, clues emerged suggesting that the same person responsible for thinning the ranks of the Italian aristocracy was also responsible for destabilising several organised crime factions. By the time he was finished with his vendetta, Cen had drawn the attention of the Academy for the Empowered and was offered a place shortly afterwards.
As a student at The School Cen was recognised as a persistent troublemaker who assaulted students, hoarded weapons and once even set off live grenades in the school cafeteria. Indeed, The School's current heightened security is recognised as largely a part of Vincenzo's legacy. While attending the school he also dated Roxanne Redwood for a while until she left him for Scott Kerr. This would be the start of a long rivalry between the two students that would continue into their adult lives.
After graduating from The School Cen disappeared off the face of the Earth, though some believe he spent the time since hunting down stray vampires in Central America.

Everyone's favourite sociopath is coming back! I'm guessing that the players of the previous self-defence and shooting teachers have quit or withdrawn their characters and, given it would be the obvious subject for Cen to teach, I hope that's not a problem.Name: Vincenzo "Cen" Lombardi
