Match Preview: Leon Dillon vs Reverend Eugene Martin

After the Close lose to silver beaches George Jones, Khytenna's Nightmare will be back to fight in the second Al-Mumtaz Boxing Championship, this time he will be hoping to go futher and win it!

He will be Taking on Eventian Reverend Eugene Martin in his first fight of the compertition, a fight that Dillion is well prepared for and not backing down from, we Spoke to Leon's trainer last night to see to catch up with his progress.

"Leon is well prepared for this fight, he have been training his movement and making sure that he will be the best pound to pund fighter in the ring, Leon's very unique unorthidox style of fighting will be the great advantage to him, we here at the team Dillon are sure that he will live up to his nickname, and be the true nightmare in that ring"

Both fighters are Equal in tactical fighting, but Martin seems to be better in that department, we hope that Dillon's durabiltiy and power will be enought to finish this fight in his favour. Dillon made this statement to us whilst we where in his gym.

"i am truly pumped for this fight, i am ready to take to the Preast for the full 12 rounds! He knows im more powerfull then him, and i can match him on interlect as well. This fight will be mine Preast! I'm back for the championship."

Dillon is Clearly ready for this fight, and once again the strong contengent of khytennan traveling fans will be there to cheer him on, and mabye it will be his night to shine.

What was that? The feeling... he didn't want to take the tournament very seriously at first. But then, just as he was starting to like it, he lost.

Ah, he couldn't hide it. He wanted to go back and do better. Show them all who's boss.

He didn't even go back to Laserna. He stayed at Al-Mumtaz until the new tournament opened up the signings.

He could feel the old bloodlust returning, that wonderful sensation of power that he felt during the war. He ached to get back in the ring and punch someone's lights out.

His first opponent would be a former gladiator. Someone who made a living out of fighting to the death. Now that was an opponent worth a look.

Nightmare Reigns supreme!

A close fight, and some rounds Equal scores, but last nights unanimous was in the faviour of Dillon who beat Reverend Eugene Martin , and now he will advance to second round to face Lupus Steel.

The fight started very well for Leon as in the first minute of the first round, Dillon landed two hard and fast cross punches to the temples saw The Preast fall straight down, Leon eye's where fixed on the Martin in that almost demonic way that he is famous for back in Khytenna. Martain came back strong with more punchs. in the second round Martain had dillion against the ropes with some hard straight punches. But Dillon made came back hard with his signiture sudden, fast cominations that found gaps in Martin's defense. In the 7th round Martin managed to floor Dilion with a superb straight punch, but the dogged Dillion managed to shake it of, and in the 10th round, Dilion managed to bring martin to floor with a quick combo to the chest and a powerfull cross punch to the face. The last minute of the fight was Dillion strongest, he was constantly on and of fighting making quick and hard combo's, backing of and going straight back again, the Martin was reeling and even though he manged to land some punches of his own, Dillon looked like he was almost ignoring them and looking for the knock out.

after the final Bell, Dillon new he had done enough, and when the desistion was made, Dillon punched the air in delite! and later he went over to the traveling fans to celibrate amounst them, the Khytenna crowd where cheering and waving flags!

on to the next fight aganst a strong Lupus Steel , who stopped Ralph Spencer-Short in the 3rd round (although beating a boxer known as the wimp may not be the greatest of acheivements). Known for his awesome Combination boxing, this Wolf will be a tough fight. but dilion had a few words to say himself about the next fight, amougst the khytennan fans, he said this:

"Steel, i know your good, but the Shadow of the Six islands is back for bussness! you see how i dominated my fight? that will be you for i am ready for this! So you beat a coward, I'm a fucking born fighter my wolf freind, bark all you want, i will be your nightmare!!! "

A clearly conferdent dillon will take this fight to the wolf and it will be an amazing figth to watch, we will be there and hopfully you will be there two

It truly seems that staying for the next contest was the right idea.

The gladiator was as ruthless and powerful as Olivier expected. He was fast and strong at the same time, with a dangerous left. He walked circles around Olivier, punching between his guard. His reaction was to stay there and took the hits, striking back with force. If that gladiator thought he could outlast the hero of Laserna, he would be proven wrong.

"Wearing me down won't work, boy. This body is chiseled from pure steel. I can take whatever you dish out"

Things didn't work as expected, however. He did notch D'Amone's eyebrows, but his agility meant most of Tusci's punches weren't finding their mark at all, which prevented a knockout. In the end, it came down to the judges' decisions. It wasn't what he wanted, but a victory is a victory, and that's the whole point.

However, it was really what he knew after the fight that made him think he'd done the right decision.

Again, he was to face The Fists of Terror, George Jones, in the tournament.

"I wonder what nugget of ancient wisdom Kydo would say about that? Something about karma?

Revenge!

In the International Boxing Championships at the Hall of Strength, George Jones won a split decision matchup, and now will face Olivier Tusci, in a #2(George Jones) vs. #1 match. Tusci knocked George Jones out of the International Boxing Championships at the last one, so the Fist of Terror will be looking for some sweet revenge.

"C'mon George, hit harder! Faster! Stronger! This is a must win, remember what happened last time?? We cannot afford a knockdown. MOVE my friend, MOVE!" Grant Telibsy said. He was Jones' manager, and wanted a championship here. He also wanted Dillon from Khytenna badly....

George Jones was practicing at the Treasury Arena, the practice place he had found in the city. Here, he fought local boxers and favorites, to prepare for his matchup against Olivier Tusci, the #1 boxer in the world at the moment. He was doing right hooks, jabs, left hooks, etc.... The matchup was being shown at 9:00 PM Silver Beach time, which might set a record for most viewers at a Silver Beach boxing event. Since it was 6:00 PM Tasmania time, those people would be able to view it too. Because of that, he had to work and train hard for the matchup, so he could get a victory.

After knocking out this high schooler, he decided it was time to wrap it up for the night. As he walked back to the hotel, and got into bed, he started thinking about the next day's match. The crowd would be against him, he was sure of it. Tusci had brought his fans along with him, and the Silverian fans had not traveled well for this tournament. Well, at least he was sure of a sellout crowd, this was the most hyped up boxing match Jones had ever participated in. As he fell asleep, he looked forward to the next day's events....

IC : 26 hours before the next matches begin, there was a terrorist attack at the Mahlabuka Port, 5 KM from At-Tajra. So, all of international activity inside Al-Mumtaz will be suspended to make sure the safety of all people until undefinited time. Sorry for any inconvenience.
