It took the Global Alliance and the Democratic Institutions Act to acquire the necessary alliances to be able to turn the GCN into a functional alliance, but a lot has happened since then. The Anti-Communist International was one of the first alliances to join the GCN after the GCN was formed, and it had acquired its roots by fighting against the Oceanians and other enemies. This was followed by the Unified Defense Alliance, which primarily was responsible for chartering new potential colonies. This was then followed by the democratic military alliance known as the Global Alliance of Democratic Nations. All of these alliances joined the GCN, and my superiors in the Marajarbian Government believe that a total of at least 15 Alliances have to join the GCN, and that all alliances with ties to the GCN must be further united, as that allows for the GCN to become a WA successor in the eyes of the Marajarbian Government. Another thing that should be in everyone’s minds would have to be having the GCN work alongside a trustworthy and large alliance instead of outright merging with it. Peaceful collaboration and cooperation can truly create a utopia of peace, for inter-alliance conflict only causes more trouble. Any questions?”

Southeast Marajarbia wrote:Carl Williams: "Alright then, I will continue with the new deals and ties. Due to the ongoing Cold War against the Kalisight Treaty Organization, this particular inter-alliance conflict actually sparked the creation of the IUN, an alliance that is officially neutral in the conflict, but based on the actions of the IUN representatives in the current battle for the Mediterranean theater of the Cold War, the IUN could be classified as GCN-aligned. As such, after some closed-door negotiations, the IUN is more than willing to support the GCN in this conflict. Another deal that's worth discussing would be the trade deals made with non-GCN nations via the more than useful Olpenese OEZ Program. The Outer Economic Zones have been improving time and time again with various corporations within varying GCN nations joining the program and selling their products. The GCN is rapidly continuing its expansion thanks to the OEZ, while also promoting the GCN to gain new members. Any questions?"

IC: Carl Williams: "Then I believe that now is the time to commence discussing GCN's future in the world. As many of those present here may or may not know, by the time of the Global Alliance and United Federation, the world was in absolute chaos. ICDN and CUSP collapsed, leaving a major power vacuum, and aggression made by the government of East Stal Saillnerce against the Meretican government resulted in the creation of the United Federation, which was recognized by the Global Alliance as a rival. Nations and Alliances alike fought for dominance, but thanks to the actions of the Marajarbian, Meretican, Olpenese, and Atlantican governments, the GCN was created, and the world was stabilized. The mere existence of the Global Confederation of Nations is one of the few things left in the world actively preventing such events from ever taking place again, which is why it is time we discuss GCN's future. The GCN won't last long, but it will leave a big mark on international geopolitics similar to how GRAIL or even SETA left their marks, and that is especially thanks to the proposals made by the new Global Senators, most of which have had experience running successful alliances that form a piece of the pie that is the GCN. I would very much like to hear some ideas as to what some of the representatives here think should be done to ensure GCN's successful future."

Without Democracy a country cannot prosper and have peace. Having peace with them will be bowing down towards a Undemocratic Alliance. And having peace with them will break GCN's Ideals. GCN is Democratic. GCN can't have peace with a corrupt, Undemocratic Alliance. This will break GCN's ideals and would not be beneficial towards GCN's future❞
