A Blizzard In Hell

OOC

Prologue:

The year 2026 has begun to dawn on the world of Ausozera. It is a world where superpowers and their powerful alliances battle each day for supremacy or for some, survival, in an increasingly hostile world.

There is a particular continent in Ausozera by the name of Helsen or Hell’s End as some of their inhabitants call it. In Helsen rest two nations, Vanquaria and Empire of Donner Land.

Literally bordering each other they both are at simmering tensions with Vanquaria, an exceptionally aggressive country, laying claim to land that they say belong rightfully to them as well as air space in the area though this may be another land-grab attempt by the Iron Empire. The Vanquarian people, having the belief that theirs is the ultimate race, fanatically support every action taken by their ruthless Autarch no matter the consequences.

Empire of Donner Land is one the defensive, defending their ownership of the land especially their faithful citizens native to the contested area who are at risk of harm from Vanquaria who has a reputation for committing war crimes. Many of the citizens of Empire of Donner Land, especially the Ulianish natives, believe that the mountains are the hereditary right of their people. This has become a heated debate as to if Vanquaria should cede the mountains back to Donner Land since it is possibly the birth place of the Ulianish and even the nation itself.

Pretty soon, with tensions seeming to reach breaking point, all hell will break loose in hell.

The Grand Palace was surely an architectural masterpiece with a dazzling design by Vanquaria’s best minds yet also built to withstand sieges and known forms of attacks. Resting in the middle of the incredibly tiny island called Auraxis it had been home to the line of Autarchs since the legendary First.

Now, its current owner sat comfortably inside a round, dome-like room. Seated on a deluxe, red chair in front of a circular, wooden table ,specially hand-crafted, for him Autarch He grinned. Laid out on the table was a detailed report by his Imperial Secretary of the Iron Empire’s current state. Vanquaria was economically prospering with new gains from the provinces of New Azenyanistan and Revasa.

I shall invest a sizeable amount of these profits into the military of course. It was because of the mighty Vanquarian military that I now have these overseas additions. It’ll serve as their reward.
Putting aside the papers he activated his advanced computer. Almost immediately came a list of highly classified folders of the Vanquarian Regime. This computer would have been hacked countless times for its valuable data if it wasn’t for the multiple Vanquarian agencies protecting it. Accessing an online, government-protected site he headed over to recent government expenditure. His eyes scanned over it for a few seconds then he quietly moaned.

It turned out his son, recently married to the Jaclean Queen, had funded a considerable amount of social welfare departments.
I blame all this international exposure. Dangerous ideas are definitely being opened up to him. It won’t even be surprising to me if he changes into a damn hippie! He certainly needs to be reminded of the harsh reality of this world…

The ageing Autarch continued to check recent activities/notifications until he came upon reports of the situation between his nation and the neighbouring Donner Land. I have been so preoccupied with other events that I have completely forgotten about this. Let’s see… this land dispute seems like an opportunity…
Putting in a highly encrypted E-message to a few select military commanders Autarch He decided that it was time for another Vanquarian ‘’righteous’’ expansion. He also sent message to his son who was currently in Marie Jois for a charity event to return back as a officer of the military.

I’m sure it’ll be a short conflict. Vanquaria’s Ground Forces will maintain their claim as the best

A telegram was sent to the Donner government:

Official Iron Empire Telegram

To: Donner Land Government

We ask that you relinquish control of the rest of the mountains and the surrounding land to Vanquaria. The lands rightfully belong to our nation. We await your reply to our peaceful request.

Major General Steiner was inside his expensive, red limousine on his way back to his mansion located near the snowy city of Mithril. He was having troubled thoughts about his son.

I wonder if he will even survive the Commando Program…maybe it was a bad idea. Actually, no. He will not dishonour my family which has a history of military achievements. If he dies then that is only life

His weary eyes stared outside at the beautiful, ice-capped mountains visible in the far distance. Suddenly his government-protected touch-phone rang. Picking it up he said, ‘Hello?’

Steiner heard a voice which he was used to hearing. It was the Minister of Defence. The man was infamous throughout the government for his ruthless approach to order with his Absolute Justice ideal. The minister replied, ‘Its me, Steiner. And I have a new assignment for you. You are to take your divisions up to the border with Donner Land. There is going to be an end to this land dispte issue with that annoying country which we call ‘neighbour’. Other generals are massing their forces there as well. I want you up there ASAP. Out.’’

Steiner heard the phone call end. Whispering, ‘’Yes sir’’, he told his chauffeur to change course for Mithril Private Airport. It was time for work.

The Prince watched with a smile as the sick children played happily in the newly-built playground inside the hospital.

This should be the future of Vanquaria. A better nation, set on the road to peace

Scott had used the Imperial Family's treasury to pay for the improvements to this Children's Hospital. He knew his father would disapprove but in his defence the Imperial Family's funds were up in the billions. The refurbishments to this hospital only cost a few million!

He remembered his time in the Commando Program, though brief thanks to him being the son of the Autarch, it was still a nightmare. The kids there were more monsters, not knowing happiness. The wars he fought in were also equally as horrible. Scott had only through sheer willpower refused to become a monster as most of the other officers in the bloody Vanquarian Military.

Abruptly his phone vibrated. Turning it on he read the text message on the screen. He was to return the military service as a Colonel and be posted on the Donnish-Vanquarian border....

Ah shit! My damn father! Scott thought angrily.

Teeth clenched Scott knew he had to obey lest he receive harsh punishment from his powerful father. Giving the children one last look he headed for his black Ferrari.

But why the Donnish-Vanquarian border?

Banshee Versus Saladin

Postby Azenyanistan » Sat Oct 31, 2015 7:34 pm

New Azenyanistan

"All right, girls, take a break! You want to see my little girl handle a tank on her own with her little crew, I'm giving you the show. Now come on, Hope, make us all proud here, all right?" Said Banshee as she escorted her growing daughter, the eldest of her children, the other and the youngest being with Steiner, to the tank that her little girl would command with her crew of growing New Azens.

The soldiers of Banshee chuckled and smiled and had fun. Azens were known for being happy even if they were in the military. The Banshee gave her little girl a pat on the back as she climbed up the Azen-Vanquarian tank. The Governor (Banshee) realized how well Azens could mix their growing expertise on tanks with Vanquarian industry. And she did not regret being in New Azenyanistan.

Once the tank was fully manned, Banshee took a few steps back, her soldiers doing the same, Banshee giving her girl a thumbs up. Hope did the same. And in her uniform, her daughter looked beautiful and appealing to the most basic needs of any human.

"Give them a show, Hope!" Said Banshee before her phone rang a few times, forcing her to leave the training grounds to communicate clearly with the one who is calling her. Banshee gave them a few gestures, letting them know that they can continue without her. The tank came alive and soon was moving at the command of Hope and at the hands of Hopes driver. The soldiers whooped and Banshee picked up the phone.

She said "Hello? Steiner, is this you?"

Sakura City, Urran, Old Imperial Palace

It was late at night in the Urranese homeland, yet the dazzling lights of the ultramodern capital lit the sky up a shade of pale red, only the major stars could be seen in the vast expanse of the sky, peering down to earth between the skyscrapers and towers. In the old Imperial Palace, Prime Minister Saki Hanajima stood peering down at the immaculate gardens on the palace grounds. The Prime Ministers had made the palace their home at the fall of the monarchy nearly 120 years prior. Yet all of the work was still done at the capitol building across the heavily guarded street.

The PM ran her fingers through her soft, green hair, red eyes peering into the darkness. It was far past her bedtime, but he had a lot on her mind. Times for Urran were getting more and more perilous. Their fair island nation had always been prosperous and enjoyed relative neutrality, being content to make some of the finest electronics and trains that the world had ever seen. They had watched wars come and go, leaders rise and fall, protected by the expanse of ocean between them and the mainland, as well as their reasonably large and powerful military. However, things were not as they had once been, times had changed. Large monarchies had emerged as superpowers, constantly bickering amongst themselves and each other. Azenyanistan had been divided and parts of it returned, yet Urran still held a chunk of that land. This was what troubled the PM. As she sat, staring at the ancient trees and mats of moss, she was fearful of these new powers, as was Parliament. It was becoming more and more rare to be a Constitutional Republic it seemed. The world was now ruled by powerful men. Powerful men with ambitious goals and imperialistic minds.

The former PM had done what he could. He had secured allies in the Diarchy, particularly the Head State, Cirilla. He had also built up Urran's military and his administration had seen the first successful and mass produced Mobile Suit, something that Urran was proud of. However, Urran was still fearful. They were small compared to these superpowers and far from their territory in Turkey. It was on everyone's mind that war between Vanquaria and Donner Land was not far off and that Turkey might get in their way, or worse, the homeland.

Saki left her window and got on her knees in her bed chamber. Dear God she prayed. Give me wisdom to lead this nation. Help me to make the right choices to keep us and our allies safe. Protect us from those that wish us harm. Amen.
A lie doesn't become truth, wrong doesn't become right, and evil doesn't become good just because it's accepted by a majority.

An AV-8B Harrier touched down on the carrier Ise, engines cycling down as soon as it had hit the deck. Bouncing a little, the Harrier immediately came to a halt. A small towing vehicle came out of the shadow of one of the control towers as the jet engine powered down and the jet wash dissipated. The aircraft was towed to a small transfer area on the flight deck while another Harrier landed. The two had just completed a patrol, doing regular scouting around the small ASW fleet. This force was but a component of the larger Kantai, though the core of the main fleet was well out of sight of the Ise. What felt like the whole FAP Navy was going on a maneuver in the waters north of Sishai, apparently as a show of strength.

An empty one, it seemed, to the pilots of the air wing assigned to the Ise. She was an Escort Carrier, essentially the center of a tiny escort fleet whose primary role was keeping submarines off the back of the main fleet. That was the job of Soryu, the Helicopter destroyer just off the starboard bow of Ise. Soryu's load of Sea Hawks was the primary weapon of the fleet, scouting around for stealthy attack submarines. And protecting Soryu was Ise's duty. It is virtually uneventful, as not a single enemy unit has ever sent aircraft or surface vessels to harm Soryu. Being a pilot for a squadron assigned to an Escort Carrier was a job considered a cushy number, one where pilots rarely logged more than 10 hours of flight time per week. Nominally, the ASW fleet was part of the Kantai. In reality, none of the ships here had line of sight of even a Battleship or Supercarrier, the pride of the fleet.

The crews of these "Sideline Fleets" were getting bored fairly fast, and hoped they either get deployed for real or sent back to port for extended shore leave. They would soon get their wish.

Postby Empire of Donner land » Sat Oct 31, 2015 8:46 pm

Euroidocazy Capital Building, Bögt, Donner Land

"The clean up operations in Roal City are going well, yes?" The head of state said into the telephone as he sat in his office behind his wooden desk. In the room were 3 windows on all sides of the room except for where the door to the hallway was. The windows were eclisped with white from the snow fall, a blizzard was making its way across Donner Land. There was a gandfather clock sitting in the corner syanding at 8 feet tall, a rug sitting under the desk and chairs infront of the desk and a few paintings hanging on the walls depicting the november revoluition. He had just been elected after the crisis and overthrowing of Holtz, the corrupt head of state before him who tried aboltioning the council. Thankfully, he was executed brutally much like the king that used to rule the Empire in the 19th century.

"I see, tell the LG operators the war is over, they no longer are under S2. And make sure any foreign troops still there are arrested and put on trial, execute them if needed. Alright, Boghaim, yes have a nice day." He put the phone down on the desk on the hook. His name is Ajeskei Gehref. The new head of state of Donner Land. People look up to him for guidance after the civil war the cause so much pain. It was stressful, so many people needed help. At times he just wanted to cry or resign and say "I can't do this." But he didn't, he stayed strong.

After some emails a assistant walked into his office and dropped off a paper that said "URGENT" in a large red stamp. He was used to seeing these things. On it though, was something much more disturbing. It was from Vanquaria, the nation that laid across the mountains, the evil peoples Donnish children were taught threatened their way of life and their families lives. Recently tensions burned again around the mountains and having them ceded back to Donner Land due to cultural and ethnic reasons. Those mountains saw the birth of a people and a nation. They still held Ulianish people even today. But as Ajeskei read further he was horrified, angered, threatened. "Sovarich scum!" He yelled as he finished reading it. His fingers tore the paper from his anger. Eventually he just crumpled the paper and threw it at the window. He picked up the phone and pressed the rubber number pad. "Ja, Get me the council leader and order an emergency hearing. I'll be there in ten. Ja, have a nice day." He put it down and threw on his black suit jacket grabbing his keys and opened the door walking down the hall.

Reply to: Vanquaria

No, we have a sovereign claim to those lands and the other mountains that you own. In fact, we request that you cede the mountainous region you own on the border to us. Ulianish peoples live there and those mountains were the beginning of a people and out nation. What reason do you have? Imperialism? Getting what you want because you think you can have it without a fight? This request is not peaceful as you claim, it is a threat to our people and the nation.

Signed, Head of State Ajeskei Gehref.

Aleksy, Enroute to Donnish-Vanqaurian Mountain border.

Aleksy sat in the ARIDV. The tension in the back of the APC could be felt like a weight on your shoulders. He was being deployed, his EAR training was completed. He was officially a Donnish Ranger, jokingly called "Donner Lands second best." He took that title with pride even if his parents didn't want him in the millitary. Observing the other people he trained with his eye caught Yskela looking worried as he usually did. "Hey! Ysk! Arid as fuck right?!" The rest of his squad laughed a little cutting the tension. Ysk looked up and grinned at him "Arid as fuck Aleksy." He said in reply. Aleksy has trained with the others for months, now he was ready. He didn't know why they were being deployed but he knew something was going down. The tension slowly builded again as the ARIDV shook on the mountain paths.

Then He thought about Kat, he tried hard not to as he read the deployment order but kept failing. How would he get through his life? He couldn't send or receive anything to or from her. Am I going to be okay? What If I get killed in action? Who's going to tell her, some guy in a uniform carrying a letter who will just walk off? I'm only 17... he thought as the ARIDV shook and rocked then someone tapped him on the shoulder. He looked to his left and someone presented him with a envelope. "I forgot to give this to you Aleksy. I went to the fence for you since you were busy." He nodded and took it, he knew exactly what it was. "Aleksy got a love letter again eh?" The woman infront of him said and a few others chuckled. "Shut it, Fren." He grinned at her before placing it In his pocket.

After a few more hours they arrived at FOB Landesko. The door on the ARIDV slowly opened and the blinding white light entered their eyes. They all squinted, some in pain but it was better than the dim red buzzing light they had on the ride there. Aleksy was the first out as he crawled out of his seat ducking his head under the roof of the APC. He walked down the ramp and his foot soon found the thin layer of snow on the ground. Around him surrounded the various buildings and defencive structures of the FOB. He knew things were serious now.

"This... this is a millitary base. It was just set up even. What's going on?" He asked, distressed as people left the APC from the ramp.

"War, Luwenser Aleksy. Get used to it." His Sergzen said as he stepped off the ramp and walked to the armory across the snow.

No... No, no, no! he thought as the ramp for the APC closed and started driving away. His squad was walking away and he jogged to catch up. This can't be happening, I thought this would just be our station or something. What's going on!? I lied to Kat! he looked down at his boots as they walked through the snow following the heels of his comrades toward the armory to drop off their equipment his eyes were darting around, thinking about what would happen to her, what would happen to him. He was more than worried now, he was almost petrified.

Fallager Sea, Esgonia

2 F/A-18's take off the carrier EFS Great Balls of Fire, alongside 2 destroyers, namely EFS Bangard and Yuudachi on a routine patrol on Esgonian waters. It was no extraordinary patrol though, usually this is what most of the airmen would do to pass the time as they await for deployment. As for the carrier's crew, most of them who have nothing to do usually just roam around, maybe get a tan on the deck as they watch aircraft take off and land like usual. The carrier's inventory had been changed recently though, with some new aircraft in her hold, 6 AF-12 Greyhawks, a locally-produced variant of the A12T Tenrais, and 4 F/A-46 Tempests purchased from North Arkana, the rest are the usual F/A-18s, Su-33s, Carrier, AW&C, and ASW Aircraft. Alongside with them, a few FEMC Marines who are merely shooting at the water as target practice, a waste of tax money, but they had nothing else to do anyway.

The two destroyers accompanying the carrier have been recently upgraded. Installing Patriot defense systems to complement the CIWS systems and had their VLS Cells modified to use Trinity-N missiles.

Meanwhile in Palermo Base, the 22nd "Pargaden" Armored Division had recently acquired new equipment and vehicles in their arsenal, namely Korvan T-72-21's, Iveco LMV's, newer SMETCON Comms sets, and all others. For now, since there was no major conflict happening recently, they thought these new gear would just end up being toys being played about by recruits to be recorded then uploaded on the internet or what not, but they didn't realize that they would be of use soon.

Steiner relaxed when he heard his beloved wife's voice and replied, ''Yes, its me. I just want to let you know that I am going on deployment again this time on the Donnish-Vanquarian border. Tensions between my nation and Donner Land are heating up though I am sure everything is under control. How is our daughter doing?''

The Vanquarian General was now inside a jet bound for Sidni. He had recently, before making the call to Banshee, got into contact with his subordinate officers and now the 3 Armoured Divisions he commanded were no inbound via military aircraft to the Vanquarian Military Base in Sidni.

Steiner had not seen his daughter for over 8 months now due to work. He usually visited her only once a year for a month then left Sishai. The situation with rebels in southern Vanquaria was a growing threat and required his full attention which was a setback to relations with his family.

Donnish-Vanquarian Border, Vanquarian Side

Night was beginning to cast its shadow over the mountains. The Minister for Defence watched, draped in rare animal fur-clothing, at the mountains on the Donnish side of the border.

Around the Minister battalions of troops were setting up artillery pieces as well as bunkers. All this was necessary in the Minister's opinion as the Donnish people threatened each day to reclaim their supposed ''birth lands'' .

Personally the Minister did not believe any of that nonsense. Donner Land just wanted to gain more territory as well as a strategic advantage over the Iron Empire.

They think we are stupid. I know that the people in the Donnish government just want to annex our lands though I find that ridiculous. They cant best Vanquaria in direct war so instead they use moral influence, taking advantage of their people's belief that these lands are theirs to use as a proper cassus belli. I think not!

The Minister walked inside a large bunker near the back of the defensive line which served as the Communications station. He nodded as soldiers saluted him.

He called one of his lieutenants over and inquired, ''How goes the reinforcements from Sidni?''

The lieutenant replied with a monotone voice, ''Multiple divisions are due to arrive tomorrow. Extra artillery and armour will be with them as well, sir.''

This information pleased the Minister. He dismissed the officer and sat down on a brown, high-quality couch at the back of the room. He clicked his fingers for his servants to fetch him dinner which he felt like he deserved.

The Minister of Defence knew he was a valued man in the Autarch's eyes. He had been apart almost all major Vanquarian military campaigns. His achievements spoke for themselves. He was also responsible indirectly for a few genocides in the conflicts though he wasn't going to reveal his involvement any time time soon.

The Autarch chuckled. He admired this man's strong stance in the defence of his people though it was futile in his perspective.

I only wish for a peace. It is just a simple request after all, heheheh

He had a few minutes before received the replies from the military commanders he had sent the secret messages to. Their obedience was good.

His forces were gathering but the Autarch did not want to be so rash. That would be...uncivilized indeed.

We are after all intellectual men who wish nothing but the good fortune of our two nations. I'll try my luck at another 'peaceful' request

Signalling his Imperial Secretary he ordered the sending of another email.

Official Iron Empire Message

To: Donner Land Government

It is not hard to hand control of a few mountains and land to the Iron Empire. Your people will still be allowed to enjoy the preservation of their ancient culture which we in the Iron Empire respect. We in the Iron Empire mean no harm when we request this. All we want is peaceful relations with each other seeing as our two esteemed nations are both neighbours.

As for your request for us to cede our control of the mountains our response is a simple no. The land rightfully belong to use since old times and we do not intend to change that. We hope that your government understand this.

Saladin Versus Banshee

Postby Azenyanistan » Sat Oct 31, 2015 9:59 pm

Azenyanistan

The 2nd Tank Company of the ANA, which was under the command of Saladin, was moving from Syria to Iraq and to Iran. Moving from place to place with them included the 1st Tank Company, 3rd Tank Company and the 4th Tank Company. The 1st and 2nd Motorcycle Companies were also on the move with the Tank Companies as the Infantry and the Orders were already waiting in the cities of Iran close to the Persian Gulf. The Azens have sent telegrams and other communication forms to Cirillian Arabia, to occupied Oman, to Cirillian Yemen and even to Cirilla itself as the Azens were already mobilizing for what the Azens feared to be another war.

Saladin wore complete Azen military uniform while she also wore something to shield her face from the desert and the sand and from the heat of the sun as she did not like to wear caps or helmets as she travelled. The tank that was under her personal command and which served as her command post was the famous LOBOS-1 Tank of the Azens. This tank, a tribute to the Iraqis, earned the Azens many great victories against the White Movement and against other internal threats of Azenyanistan. Her keffiyeh and googles and removable sleeves protected her upper body as she observed her formations move through a sandstorm on the highway to Iran. She scanned what was before them using her binoculars and because of the sandstorm, could not see more than a few meters or so from her tank. She sighed and gave her commanders and their men a gesture.

Saladin, the Azen commander, gave them one closed hand, a fist. She also said into her radio "All units stop for a while. I want all of you to recheck your fuel and your vehicles. This sandstorm is not doing us any good. I'm giving you all ten minutes to do this until we have to move again. Go!"

---

New Azenyanistan

Banshee smiled and listened to the long gone voice of her husband. It has been too long for her. She said to her lover "Darling, do you know how much Hope misses you? You magnificent, war mongering bastard. She really wants you to see her command her own crew and tank! She's giving a good show right now. I hope I taught her well." She then looked at her child. Her child was now commanding her crew to fire on the run a few times on some selected targets. 4 targets out of 10 were hit. 4 down, 6 more to go. She smiled then continued to talk with her Steiner

"You should be proud of your daughter too, Steiner. She's gonna make a great tanker, someday. And she might be the first of Azen and Vanquarian blood to serve in the Vanquarian military. Your country could really use someone like me or her. And I pray our son is doing good. When can I see him again?"

In reply to: Vanquaria

You know what is hard? Seeing your people slaughtered infront of you like dogs. That's what I fear may happen if it remains under your controll. You don't respect anything that lives, how can I trust you that what you want is peace? How do I know you won't demand more?

Because you will, they always will.

You will destroy their culture, suppress them and kill them all. I can not, WILL not allow that, oh 'glorious' Autarch. You are just like our king in the 19th century, and you and I both know what happened to him. I would sooner make sure the same happens to you before I give up the mountains and doom my people.

Sighed, Head of State Ajeskei Gehref.

Council Chamber, Bögt, Empire of Donner Land.

"Vanquaria will declare war. They are a savage and uncaring nation. Imperialists for Emthyias sake!" One the council men, a older gentlemen by the name of Hyrum stood up and spoke. He couldn't have be younger than 70 in the Head of states eyes. "Ajeskei, there is no peaceful option." He added.

"There is only war, I'm sorry."

Ajeskei sat infront of the council rubbing his forehead as the councilmen argued amongst eachother after he had spoken. "Now that the parties closing arguments are over, voting will proceed." He said as options came on the screen in front of him. He pressed the large white circle with his finger. It filled with green instantly and submitted his vote. Next to the circle were three letters arranged in a scary word.

War

He hated to admit it, but it was the only choice they had at this point. He had already sent back a reply to the Vanquarians. He was sure this was a last chance before war was declared yet he declined. He knew what the Vanquarians would do as soon as they laid their hands on his people. He would probably commit more atrocities, he couldn't allow that to happen. He didn't tell the council, he could be impeached but it was for the protection of the Ullian people. But he did the right thing? Right? His job was to protect his citizens and the nation.

"The results are in, we are going to war. I would... advise some of the council members here say their last good byes to their loved ones." He said as he banged his gavel once and left sternly through the door next to his seat. Some council members were happy, others were disappointed but some began to weep. Their Children and Grandchildren were in the armed forces.

Donnish-Vanqaurian Border. Heading into Vanquarian territory.

Eluesnt Wernstaiya threw his pick into the ice in the rock once more as he and and his Squad climbed the mountains into Vanquaria. Their objective was simple, a preemptive attack at their command structure. In other words, an assassination attempt on their leadership before the war started. Command knew it, the HOS knew it and the Squad knew it. Their orders were top secret and being captured was not an option. With that, they all carried Cyanide pills in their right breast pocket and sharpened their knives for a last dance with the devil. Wernstaiya's rope was attached to the rest of the Sqaud as they climbed. If one fell the rest wouldn't go with him. They were protected up and down with cold resistant gear and white camouflage. The night sky was great with the stars and galaxies above, all visible without light pollution to destroy it as they climbed.

They had pulled them selves over the ridge and we're now in Vanquarian territory. If they were found they were no longer apart of the Donnish Millitary and couldn't be saved. They began to hike their way to find their target.

"Sir!" the man said. He carried a envelope with him. "Yes, what is the meaning of this?" grumbled the man put in charge of the country. He was appointed only yesterday "Ersatzführer", or Substitute Leader. Until the throne had been taken control of by it's rightful man, who was already declared missing awhile ago, he was in charge. It was about 5AM in the WPT right now, and this event. surely, must be important.

The man opened the envelope, which explained everything about the Vanquaria-Donner situation: And how war might break out. Given a glass of water, and some time to think on it, he later reported with a decision. The man from before had met with him, and the Ersatzführer gave him his decision. He said "It is a tragedy to see this happen. Tell Donner Land, that we will support them... in the worst event, war. I have reason to believe the lights in Helsen will go out, and won't be lit. Soon, it will all be enveloped by the darkness of the Iron Empire. I hate to do this, but tell me if Vanquaria declares war on Donner Land or vice versa. Either way, I will be declaring war on Vanquaria very soon. Tell the generals to mobilize. I'm heading to bed." He finished the speech, and walked to his bed. The man left.

Shinza Shipyard, Hyogo

Hyogo Shipping Corporation, Shiganshima Electronics, and Toho Defense Company Limited had all just received major orders. Together these industrial giants made up the conglomerate, Urran Defensive Shipyards. The nations of Esgonia and Free Asian ports had just ordered 8 and 10 warships respectively, now it was up to these companies, with strict government oversight, to produce said warships, Formidable Class Frigates.

A large tanker had just been launched, another satisfied customer. 18 dry docks were, thankfully, available so that construction could begin at once. A nearby steel refinery had just received orders for the first keel. Urran's industrial wheels were humming.

"So, the Esgonian vessels will be built in these gates, and the FAP ones in those over there." The Chairman of the conglomerate stated as he motioned to large dry docks from a window of an office high rise. He was surrounded by other company bigwigs and construction foreman. Construction of all of the vessels would take time, however, Urranese prided themselves on their craftsmanship and work ethic so it would be done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Meanwhile, Urranese airbases were preparing to receive Esgonian and FAP helicopters for upgrades, and various factories were preparing to churn out vehicles for Azenyanistan. If there was one good thing about uncertain times, it was that they were profitable for defense companies.

Urranese Capitol Building, Sakura City

There was a roar of conversation in the air. The large, open, amphitheater like room that was the meeting room for the Upper House of Parliament was full of chatting Parliament Members. The Ministry of Defense had just put a request before the House and it was now being discussed in earnest. A rather tall man, for an Urranese, in Navy dress uniform stood at a podium in the center of the room.

"And so, Members of Parliament, we humbly ask that you allow us to host a joint military exercise between Urran and any other non hostile nation that wishes to join us." The Admiral asked slowly, and deliberately, commanding the attention of his audience. The way that he saw it, Urran needed to procure more friends if it was to have a future. Armed neutrality was good, but it left you alone should war even come upon you.

After only two hours of political bickering, it was voted 475 to 25 that Urran should indeed host naval war games with other nations interested. The Prime Minister, technically the head of the military, put out a statement.

Day 1
On board RNS Schönewalde

To whom ever may read this, my name is Elisabeth Ulrich, i am a War Journalist send by the Rattean government to observe the tensions developing between Vanquaria and Donner land as well as interview citizens and see what they think about the tensions. My Journey will start in The Empire of Donner land and end in Vanquaria, once my journey is over i plan on reporting back to the mainland and turning in my information. Hopefully it will benefit the citizens at home who plan on travelling to these nations in the near future. If i am to get severely wounded, injured or killed traveling between both nation, have this daily journal send to----------

While Writing her journal Elisabeth was interrupted by a voice, upon hearing the voice she closed her book and looked up at the person.
"Why are you writing in a journal, its unnecessary." Said Mike, a fellow War Journalist
"Well you never know what could happen, we are traveling between 2 nations in turmoil. We could get hurt and even killed"
Replied the young journalist picking up her book and walking towards the flight deck.
running towards the journalist to continue their talk, "I know, i understand but your practically untouchable wearing this blue vest and helmet"

Image

The Talking ceased for around 10 minutes until they reached the flight deck, the flight deck as booming with activity. while walking on the deck, Elisabeth spotted the helicopter in the corner of her eye. The Helicopter that would take her was a UH-60 Black Hawk, when the 2 journalist walked up to the helicopter the pilot opened the side door for the girl and helped her put equipment and other utilities inside the aircraft. Continuing the conversation, Elisabeth replied to mike's previous statement.
"Regardless, anything can happen and many cant be trusted" Replied the female, Now on a Helicopter which would take her to Donner Land
"Well good luck, don't get hurt. Remember many care about you" yelled the Journalist, as the helicopter started up
"You too" Yelled Elisabeth, sitting back into the helicopter she gave the pilot the signal to go.
Once the pilot received the signal, he started the helicopters engine. Letting the rotors spin, once at a certain speed the helicopter began taking off the flight deck. Levitating above the ground, the helicopter turned around and began flying upwards away from the flight deck. With the helicopter officially taken off and heading towards Donner Land, Elisabeth pulled a picture out of her bag. The Picture contained her family, tearing up slightly she tucked the picture into one of the many pockets on her vest and laid back in her seat, enjoyed the flight.

Office of the Ministry of Defense of the Free Asian Ports, Osaka

The papers had arrived on the desk of General Nanasawa Kubo, the assistant to the Minister of Defense. Unfortunately, the whole office seemed in total chaos while it was constantly organizing the deployment of the Kantai in the northernmost ocean. The Minister was busy, and couldn't tend to a great many issues. So it fell to Gen. Nanasawa to deal with this kind of thing. He did have the authority to approve deployments, and thus his position had some power. Situations like this were ones he excelled at. This particular issue that had just landed on his desk was an offer to join an Urranese naval exercise. Sending the Kantai was out of the question; it was the vast majority of the FAPN and distracting it with a naval exercise would tie it down. Nanasawa thought this over. Large numbers of old ships were being brought back into service, and to man them newer officers and crew were being pulled straight out of the academy. They were fresh meat, with no experience at all. They desperately needed training, and this exercise was the perfect opportunity. The refit fleet would be sent, and they would finally get the experience they need to become a true part of the Navy. Nanasawa signed off on the deployment orders, as well as responded to the diplomatic note that had suggested the exercise. He called an aide to deliver the papers, and sat back, remembering his own time as a young officer. Canaam was brutal, and it had hardened him. Looking at a family photo on his desk, he wondered how combat was affecting his own children. He smiled. They would do fine...

Fathiyyah read these documents and papers sent from Urran concerning the exercises and was smiling. She chuckled as she recalled her time in Camaan, leading a fleet or two of so many soldiers and other ground forces. She then dictated what was to be sent and what shall be done to her aide and then what is below this was sent back to Urran.

She missed the time when she commanded a great army of units and personnel on the sea and on land, during the war in Camaan and during her time in the Azen Regional MIlitary. Back when Azenyanistan was a regional power, the power that united The Middle East and Central Asia, keeping it together in peace, the Azen Speakers constantly meeting with tribes and mayors and other sub-leaders, the Azens always trying to get their neighbors to get along. And they did.

Fathiyyah was now old and no longer as she was before. But in her heart and on her patches and badge, she was a Knight of her familys Order.

Azenyanistan

"Commander Saladin!" Said an Azen soldier as she saw her Commander and her incoming forces reach their final destination: The Persian Gulf. The Azens were waiting, sitting on the sand or on their vehicles or inside of them or just standing around, having a chat with their comrades or were on the move, carrying supplies or going to get supplies.

The Azen Muslim leader was then saluted by the soldier and Saladin returned the gesture before the soldier allowed them to pass into the coast. There were thousands...no...more than thousands of Azen soldiers and vehicles on the very body of the Persian Gulf. Helicopters were coming in and out inland, bringing in some more men and some more vehicles and even a lot more supplies. Fuel was being distributed to the ships and to the air units stationed here, waiting for the ground forces to get on board. As the Azen motorcycle companies rushed into the place, dodging men and riding into the air above them, impressing the men and worrying the officers and as the Azen tank groups crawled into the assembly area, Saladin reflected upon her ORBAT.

She was going to command 2 infantry battalions, 1 regiment of infantry and vehicles, 2 companies of fast moving infantry and 4 tank companies. She would also lead 3 Orders of Knights into the war, 4 regiments of Knights Templar, 2 regiments of Knights Hospitaller and 4 battalions of Knights Oasis. The Knights deeply struck her. She was in awe of her own elite troops. These women and men armed with a mix of the best technology Azenyanistan has and of the best technology Azenyanistan could purchase or receive from other nations such as the USEA or even the Diarchy. She worried about the coming SF, the 2 platoons of Azen Ultra White Operations and the fireteams from the Azen White Operations. She worried even more about the behavior of the Azen Ultra White Operatives, worrying that they might go too far with their amorality and their dedication to the country. The Knights were better, capable of conscience and morality, but the AUWO? They frightened her with their brutality and lack of conscience.

Soon, she saw her tanks line up for boarding the ships that were on the beaches and ports. And she saw infantry emerging from the helicopters coming in and out of the inner lands of Azenyanistan. Hopefully, they would win.

Jack City Palace

Queen Victoria II of The Jaclean Empire sat in the throne room with her 6 year old son George III, as she watched him play she realized she wanted another child. Then her chief servant emina walked in with two men; one man, a plump middle aged man with a large bushy salt and pepper mustache she recognized as the minister of defense. The other a thin, balding old man with a wheezing cough she recognized as the minister of foreign affairs. "We have to discuss some foreign events." The MoD said as he took if his bowler cap, and him and the MoFA took a seat in front of the large wood desk carved with the royal crest and inlaid with gold leaf. "I see." The Queen said "Emina will you take George to play somewhere else." The Queen told the servant as she sat behind the desk the ministers sat at. "As you command, your majesty." Emina said as she took George out of the room. "Now onto the issues at hand." The MoFA said "Ausozera is looking at a war, Vanquaria and Donner Land's tensions are rising. I say we claim neutrality. Most Jacks don't want a war, but we can give Vanquaria support as you are married to the heir apparent over there." "I agree with Tom, but we should build up our forces and prepare for war. I already have given the navy funds for 5 more frigates, 3 more destroyers, and 2 more cruisers." The MoD said. "I agree with both of you, and I will start discussing this with my husband." Queen Victoria said as a servant brought them all a glass of brandy. The MoFA brought out some official documents, and showed the others "We will gift the Vanquarians 10 billion NSD from the foreign aid budget, as well as gift them 4 Smythe Class corvettes." The MoD piped in "Might I suggest sending a naval group to secure our alliance with the Vanquarians. Perhaps 4 destroyers, an aircraft carrier, and five battleships." "Great ideas gentlemen, I believe we have to play our cards right, support our allies, but not go to war." Victoria commented.
To: Vanquarian Prince
From: The office of his consort Queen Victoria II
Hello darling, I've heard about this incident with Donner Land. The Jaclean Empire wholly supports your government with 10 billion NSD, and 4 corvettes. We also support the alliance with a naval task force. We hope this can be resolved,
Department of Royalty
PS. If you go into combat, try not to get killed.

Admiral Henry Halifax sat in his office at a plain sheet of steel he called a desk, and reviewed his orders. He told his men and other ships in the task force to set a course for Vanquarian waters. He walked onto the bridge and blew his gold naval whistle which was engraved with the naval symbol and glistened in the light from the windows. "Attention!" he yelled as he blew the whistle. The men shot up from their chairs and saluted "Sir!" they shouted out in unison. "At ease! Alright boys, inform everyone we run into as we make our way toward Vanquaria that we are not looking for war, and that we are peacefully supporting a long time ally." Admiral Halifax ordered as his men sat back down.

Defense Minister's Office, Eldrichta, North-Western Esgonia

The Defense Minister sat on her desk after throwing away a cigarette, currently keeping track of the deployment and status of every Esgonian military unit deployed locally or overseas from reports of Esgonian High Command, it was a tiring job for him. But hey, she had to make sure that all soldiers were all safe and organized. As she slouches on her seat, remembering the war in Canaan where Esgonia had a humiliating start to the conflict, having an entire unit cut off and destroyed and then managed to make up for it and got revenge for those 45 fallen soldiers, she receives a telegram forwarded from the President himself. It was an invitation from its north-eastern neighbor Urran, whom the government also contracted them to produce 8 frigates, for a naval exercise. The President had agreed to the invitation to help assess the capabilities of the Esgonian Navy since it hasn't seen any action since the Cirillian-Azen war years back and has been the 3rd in priority, next to the Air Force and Ground Force. She decides to send in the 8th Fleet since it was on standby in Esgonian waters as the others are either deployed overseas or docked at port and thought they could need something to do.

"Well, guess an exercise with our fellow neighbors wouldn't hurt." She thought to herself as she forwards the communique to Esgonian High Command, and then further into the participating fleets to alert them of their invitation into the exercises. After sending it, she returns to her seat and dozes off a bit until a reply or something else arrives.

Azenyanistan Enters The War

Postby Azenyanistan » Mon Nov 02, 2015 5:13 am

Asyah, Sadisia, Tiberias, Saladin, Dannah and the rest of the League of Speakers and several Azen politicians were now in communication with one another via video chat. Thanks to the efforts of Azenyanistan and several other nations, both foreign and neighboring, the Azens are finally stepping up again into the world and are getting into good hands. But now, the Azen military must be tested once again as New Azenyanistan, under the governance of Banshee and under control of the Vanquarian Empire, is on the edge of entering the war in favor of Vanquaria. Azenyanistan is supporting Donner Land due to the fact that there are many Azenish and Azulnish persons in Donner Land, living in refuge or for other reasons whatsoever. It was in the interests of the Azen government to go to wherever ethnic Azens were and protect them if allowed.

It took several minutes for the Azens to finally begin this emergency and secret meeting in Yaneza for the politicians were bickering and quarreling amongst themselves, the politicians supporting peace or war, total focus on rebuilding or not, there were many sides...until Tiberias was forced to silence them with his own voice and authority as Marshal. When they finally began, they knew Banshee, a member of the League, would not be present as Asyah was informed by Banshee that she could not attend to it for why should she? She was the governor of New Azenyanistan and the Azens were considering her a member of the League? Still, with this error, the Azens forged on with this meeting,

Sooner or later, the Azens were moving focus. Azenyanistan is going to need this war to test the re-organized military and to test their best soldiers, the Knights. And the Azens present in this meeting have also decided finally: Azenyanistan would focus on rebuilding WITH NO EXCEPTIONS and become COMPLETELY NEUTRAL for years to come until Azenyanistan is as the Azens dreamed their country to be before the Azen Wars.

Then, at night, the Azens have finalized. Saladin, one of the military arms of this League, would lead the first group of Azens into Donner Land in preparation for war between their ally and interest against Vanquaria and New Azenyanistan. Quickly, the borders with New Azenyanistan were manned by the police, some of the Orders of Knights and the rest of the Azen military that were staying in Azenyanistan. The Persian Gulf was now full of Saladin and her men and their things of war.

It was time.

There is a time for war and a time for peace the Bible quotes. And so, for the Azens, it was time for war...once again. But with the dream and promise (With promise not being a popular word in Azenyanistan) waiting for the Azens after this war, there was no reason why the Azens would not go to war and mobilize first.

And so all were finalized.

Secret messages have been sent to Donner Land from Azenyanistan

i know this is not a UH-60, all the black hawk pictures are the middle east so i went with this

The Helicopter was close to Donner Land, the flight from Ratte to Donner was an estimated 5 hours. it was dead silence in the helicopter, occasionally you hear the pilot getting checked on by base but other than that there was nothing to hear. Elisabeth was sleeping & with the helicopter being no further than 10 miles from Donner Land, the pilot decided to wake her up to enjoy the view.
The Pilot turned towards his cockpit and pushed a green button, upon pushing the green button a mildly loud alarm turned on waking the journalist instantly up. Once the journalist woke up she stared at the land in amazement, the ports were bustling with activity and the streets of the city was filled with many cars and commercial buildings. the nation was truly a beautiful sight to see, and the journalist could not wait to talk to its citizens. The UH-60 was now above a port which connected to the town of Verruft, while the UH-60 was landing the journalist was preparing her things. Once the Helicopter landed she was met by crowds of civilians and workers, the Rattean guards guided her. Once she arrived in the city, she saw skyscrapers, Businesses and people walking the streets. Seeing all the activity in the city reminded her of the city were she grew up in the city of Kordel. After interviewing a few civilians, Elisabeth decided to travel to the capital city of Bögt where the disputed territory is closest to. She began searching for a vehicle of sorts such as a taxi to take her to the city.

Major General Steiner watched as the jet soared into a thick bunch of grey clouds. He listened intently to his wife’s voice then replied, ‘’Yes, I hope she’ll become a great warrior. As for our son he is currently undertaking the Commando programme but don’t worry, I have arranged for special protection for him so he will not perish so easily. As for when you can see him…I am not sure. Maybe in a decade when he officially graduates from the training though that is the cost of being a Vanquarian Commando…

You know what? I’ll use my powers to try and arrange dates every year where you can meet him. How does that sound?’’

The plane meanwhile flew quietly towards the major Vanquarian of Sidni in the peaceful, dark sky of Vanquaria.

The Autarch of the Iron Empire read the reply message by his Donnish ‘’friend’’ closely. After a while he smiled.

This is great material! I can definitely use this as a good cassus belli! Finally something to break the tension and in a bad way! This Donnish idiot is clearly unnecessarily threatening me or provoking me into war…I think its time

10 minutes later…

A small group of high-ranking Vanquarian officials were gathered in the Autarch’s office including his political advisors and the powerful Imperial Secretary.

Autarch He had them analyse his emails to the Donnish president and compare to the Donnish president’s and all of them concluded that their was no clear threat intended by the Autarch’s emails whereas the Donnish president’s email clearly threatened the Autarch himself. The Donnish president was very undiplomatic after all.

With an encrypted, government-protected smartphone in his wrinkled, old hands Autarch He made a call to the Minister of Defence who was on the border with the massing Vanquarian army.

The Minister picked up his phone, not knowing who it was since the numbers of the Autarch were ever-changing though he instantly recognised the voice who was speaking to him.

The Autarch spoke, ‘’I want you to open the gates of hell and unleash Vanquarian-trademarked hell right now.’’

Then the call abruptly ceased though this was to be expected.

When the Autarch ended the call he quickly turned to the large computer screen in front of him. He picked up a small speaker, similar to the ones radio hosts use. In the screen it showed ALL the radio, television channels and broadcasting systems there was in Vanquaria. This was due to the fact that the Iron Empire controlled every single one of their broadcasting systems, whether private or not it was controlled due to pervasive policies introduced by Autarch He. The system was currently connecting which would take about a full hour which was just perfect for the Autarch.

1 Hour Later

The Autarch coughed while glancing at his Imperial Secretary who gave him the thumbs up, then spoke to his Empire including the overseas provinces,

‘’This is the Autarch of the Iron Empire. This is an emergency broadcast.

Recently I have sent a couple of emails to the Donner Land Head of State, not with threats but wishing to end the tensions between our two nations. I did not intend any threat against the Donnish man though I wanted Vanquaria to claim those lands in Donner Land. The Donnish man could have stated that he refused my requests and stood his ground.

Unfortunately, the man in his second reply email clearly personally threatened me, the Autarch of the Iron Empire though I have not wronged him in any way. I see this as not only a threat to me but the entire Empire so thus I have no choice but to…

Officially Declare War On Donner Land!

Copies of the email will be put up for display on all government-news sites. That is all, goodnight my beloved citizens of Vanquaria.’’

The Empire-wide broadcast ended and Autarch He leaned back in his chair with a sly sinister smile on his face.
I must thank this Donnish idiot for threatening me. Our two nations are at tensions with another and he does the stupidest thing ever! Hahahaha!

45 minutes before Autarch broadcast

Donnish-Vanquarian Border, Vanquarian Rear Officer’s Bunker

The Minister smiled and stood up from his desk inside the highly-protected, bustling Officer’s bunker. He shouted out orders immediately to his officers. The shouts did not surprise the officers, it was the orders.

The Minister was giving out orders to begin the first phases of invasion against Donner Land. Work immediately began. Calls were going out to the whole army gathered on the border currently as well as the reinforcements arriving from Sidni.

At the moment this was an unprovoked attack on Donner Land but only the Minister and the men back in the Grand Palace knew that…

Vanquarian Defensive Line, 3 minutes before official broadcast

Along the entire kilometres of the Vanquarian Defensive Line in the border next to Donner Land artillery and MLRSs activated. Since this was a sudden bout of orders the forces were slow to prepare and follow the orders as effectively if they were expecting orders but this was good in the Ministers eyes because a large time lapse between the declaration and attack would lead to the public knowledge. This strange time difference would not be recorded officially by government documents of course.

The artillery placements pointed up towards the direction of the Donner Land border, specifically at the known border defences of the Donnish military provided by surveillance/intelligence, and fired a mass volley of shells. About 20 shells were launched.

The MLRSs however turned their sights on the mountains in Donner’s territory, the mountains at the rear in Donnish territory to be specific. Their aim was to cause natural disasters which were bound to happen if you fired multiple missiles at a mountain, wanting to cause avalanches or even better, earthquakes. The missiles aimed upwards then launched with over 15 projectiles.

The Ground Forces on the border which currently consisted of about 10 Armoured Battalions numbering 10,500 men began slowly moving into Donnish territory. The tanks were not in the advance as the mountains were too narrow for such bulky machines.

The force was spread out across multiple narrow mountain passes, black-camo Vanquarian Shock Troopers walking steadily while overhead groups of Super Cobras watched over them.

By this time the Autarch had just finished his speech and war had officially begun...

Sidni Vanquarian Military Base, Exact Time of Broadcast

About 25 Stealth Bombers flew off their landing zones towards Donner Land, under cover of dark.

They flew at high altitudes each loaded with 20 cruise missiles. At a steady speed they intended to bomb any Donnish defences on the Donnish-Vanquarian border that were still standing after the shelling/bombing by the placements on the border.

Alongside the Bombers flew F-22 Raptors, numbering 10, to provide aerial support for the Ground Forces beginning to advance.

Vanquarian Intelligence Base, Undisclosed Location Somewhere In Marie Jois

Director Zero received the highly classified orders from High Command by encrypted email. He had deleted the email after reading it over. He strode with speed through the long corridors of the Intelligence's headquarters in Marie Jois. The Director entered a large door on the right side of the while corridors. He came across a long room that was filled with many military-uniformed men and many of the latest government-modified and protected computers. This was Vanquaria's cyber army.

Director Zero nodded to a group of supervisors who also acted as bodyguards while the hackers were working. One of the supervisors who ranked higher than the rest came to the front of the room to the about 100 hackers who stood to attention and shouted,''Now is the time for the call of duty to fall upon you! Your orders are to hack every Donnish government website and launch cyber attacks on them. DDoS, phishing, Trojan malware, whatever! Just cause chaos on their cyberspace. Understood?
''Yes sir!'' was the response from the cyber soldiers then came a loud sound of frantic typing.

Director Zero smiled. As the modern age progressed so did the ways of warfare branch out. Cyberwarfare, truly a great spectacle to witness and hell for those who are at its mercy which are is currently the Donnish government.

This army shall work for about a 8 hours straight with a constant supply of water and food with hourly breaks. This ‘’invasion’’ will last a week, a week of consistent cyberwarfare.

Banshee chuckled and said "Dates? Thank you so much, dear. And hey, maybe when we see each other again, I'll welcome you as much as you want and give you a proper break from the military, even if it is just for a week or two. Now I have some good news and bad news. I just received reports from my scouts on the borders, my agents in Azenyanistan and from my officers. Good news is...Azenyanistan is rebuilding. That's something happy for me. I don't know about you and your country. But since I came from there and was born there, surely, you would understand my happiness. The other good news is that we just received our newest artillery orders from The Jaclean Empire. They really are quick with their deliveries and I had them paid double for their services. Most of it came from my pockets since I didn't want to trouble New Azenyanistan or even the Empire with expenses. Now for the bad news: The League of Speakers and Azenyanistan has just dispatched their troops and fleets to the people of Donner. ETA 3 or 4 hours, I think. I had a few informants there. A few but few enough. But I am afraid I have to take them out of Azenyanistan as my informants are getting really pressured by the Knights and the ANP. They're doing a really good job keeping the peace and rooting out any enemy spies. I'll have some of my own secret soldiers get them out safely and soundly. There is also a question I have been meaning to ask you for a long time now. I know that we have children and that I am a woman but still...there is that question and that is in my heart and in the hearts of my soldiers.

Will you allow me to lead New Azenyanistan to war against Donner and Azenyanistan on your side?"

Hope and her crew were finished with their show and when she finished her part of the call, her soldiers cheered her daughter and her tank crew on. The time of war has come again to The Banshee and to the Azens under her command and leadership, both civilians and soldiers.

Border of Helghan-Vanquaria

Troops marched or rode across the border in columns. They sang a traditional Helghast Army tune. Their morale was exceptionally high and they were excited to take part in the conflict. They're destination was a choice piece of land near Sidni. Helghast troops also gathered in the port of Vegara in preparation for a possible amphibious assault if needed.

In the Vanquarian capital Danek and company made their way to the palace of the Vanquarian Leadership in hopes of hammering out a good plan of operations.

Theme to my troop movements.

ACM Headquarters, WPT.

The Director was taking a phone call from the Ersatzführer, regarding a very special task that was to be upheld. The Ersatzführer was talking. "Alright, Director, Vanquaria has officially declared war on Donner Land. Shortly, I will be declaring war on Vanquaria. Before I do that however, I give you direct authority to reek havoc on Vanquaria's cyber teams. We saw what they did to us, we need to show them the other end of the stick. Here's what you should do. Find anything that leads to the location of their cyberteams. Hack into their equipment and essentially, DDoS them constantly so they get delayed while they try and look for us, fill their hardware up with spam, put in viruses. While you do that, I will be having our forces move. Remember, this war depends on you. We need those cyberteams eliminated or delayed." The Director replied "It'll be a hard task, given how their Autrach loves using his cyber divisions. But, we'll get it done, we have former deep web hackers and software designers working for us. Unless they have their own personal computers only Vanquaria knows about with a unknown software and security setup we'll take care of them."

Shortly afterwards...

"Ersatzführer, what is it?" he replied "Tell the generals we have declared war on Vanquaria. Our task force will move shortly." the man replied "Yes sir."

Later, the generals meet to discuss a war plan. One of them begun the conversation. "Currently, Vanquaria has declared war on Donner Land. There are a unknown number of Vanquarians on the border, but we can assume a large amount of their forces or on the border. Their cyber groups are extremely effective, but we have a agency designed just to deal with the type of cyber warfare Vanquaria uses. They should be neutralized. I have a bold plan. We directly invade Vanquaria and take the pressure off them. It's a very risky gambit, but hear me. We land our army somewhere between Zaetia in Donnish territory, and Siber in Vanquarian territory. We land and start destroying anything that may support the war effort for the Vanquarians. Factories, roads, weapons, anything of use is destroyed. The Vanquarians notice that we have a army in Vanquarian territory, and that we are destroying war materials. We move to a location where we have the advantage in a fight and lure the Vanquarians. We destroy the force they send at us, and we will take Sidni before moving to Auraxis. There, we will use artillery on the city and turn it to rubble. Then, we capture the capital and force the Vanquarians to surrender." Another general spoke up. "What about Revasa? They're in a tough position right now, we have the perfect chance to recapture rightful land." The general responded "That'll be taken care of later. Anyways, all in favor of my plan?' The entire room shouted "Aye!"

Marshal Vasily Petrov raised an eyebrow at the folder which was handed to him by his aide. It was a full description of all major movements by military forces, compiled in a joint intelligence operation by the SSS, SATCOM, and INCOM. Pieces were being moved around the board, and if what he was reading was correct, there was a war starting between Donnerland and Vanquaria. Who the National Council would decide to side with was essentially predetermined. What was of more interest was the movements of the Azen forces.

Azens. Petrov frowned. It was well known that the Arkanan government held them in low regard, and Petrov could understand why. They were a violent people, prone to bringing human made disasters upon themselves. Officially they were dedicated to rebuilding, but moving around military forces with naval assets was disturbing. Throw in the known allegiances of the so called "New Azens", and there was no guarantee the Council wouldn't express a desire for a puntitive campaign to be launched against the Azen homeland. Of course, the other option would be to focus efforts on the war between Donnerland and Vanquaria, while paying special attention to whatever New Azen forces were sent to support their ally.

It was an easy way to take care of the Council's desire to see that Banshee woman punished. No need for a trial, or dealing with stupid Azen protesters. Just an airstrike on enemy forces. A perfectly legal method of unannounced execution.

Now... we just need things to happen... give us a reason...

Whether or not a reason was present for Arkanan intervention yet, Petrov gave the orders. The Arkanan Expeditionary Force was to prepare for action, and it's supporting air units were placed on standby. It would take quite some time to move the Joint Mobile Fleet into position, and more time to move the AEF, but the 37th Air Bombardment Wing could reach the war zone within 24 hours and start dropping precision guided Mk505s.

Yes... war was coming. It was about time the ADF got to do some live-fire exercises.

Parliament Building, Jack City

Prime minister Padrick Mentorum yelled "Order!" as he hit his wooden gavel against his yew wood desk. The sound echoed through the domed building, and the Parliamentary Lords and Ladies quieted down. "Now." He said "Our great ally Vanquaria has declared war on Donner Land; The Queen had declared biased neutrality if they were to go to war, but now we make the decision of war." "And why should we go to war? What is in it for us?" Parliamentary Lord(and former PM) Charles Brotsan questioned. "Well." The PM responded "We have to support our allies, and they will support us. I am certain that if we give them unwavering support they will return the favor." "But what if they don't?" Lady of Parliament Veronica Williams inquired. "They've never given us a reason to think they wouldn't. I've met the Autarch, he is the kind of leader who values his allies." The PM informed to the Parliament. He went on "We will vote today over whether or not to join the war, and to what extent we will go to war.". "50-28 the levy didn't pass! The Jaclean Empire nearly escapes war!" a newspaper salesman shouted at his small stand outside the Parliament Building. "Come to me to read more!"

Admiral Halifax was immediately notified by his Comms Officer "We should reach Vanquaria in one day.".
