The Gulfstream IV jet took off and turned toward North-East, the roar of the engines growing more faint until the aircraft was just a speck upon the horizon. The Gulfstream belonged to the Foreign Affairs Division of The Federated States Of Arnhelm, it was headed to Shiraz International Airport in Fars Providence, formerly of the Persian Empire. The Federated States Of Arnhelm was interested in annexing the areas known as Hormozgan, Fars, and Bushehr. The nation of Arnhelm had recently conquered Bahrain in an effort to stabilize the Persian Gulf and now the attention was turned toward the former Persian Empire.

The Arnhelian Gulfstream IV touched town with a squeal from the tires on the tarmac. Unlike other jets landing at the airport the Gulfstream did not taxi toward one of the terminals but instead headed to a small hangar off to the side of the runway. Once inside the door of the Gulfstream opened and a ladder descended from the aircraft. A man wearing a light green suit and a pair of designer sunglasses climbed down the ladder and shook hands with one of the Persian representatives and said in Farsi, "It is nice to see you again, I see Allah's blessings have been with you, you haven't aged a day since I saw you last." The Arnhelian was Yusef Saleh, a former Lieutenant General in the Armed Forces Of Arnhelm, he had fought along with Persian troops in the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula while eradicating terrorists during the time of the Eurasian Empire. The diplomats entered a pair of black Chevrolet Suburbans, armored of course, and they headed toward the diplomatic compound in Shiraz.

The Arnhelian diplomats were well rested for the long day ahead. Yusef was dressed in a stunning blue suit with a dark green tie. Yusef was about 5'11" tall and around 190 pounds. He had a short brown beard and short brown hair, with a balding patch on the back of his head, a fact he refused to accept. Yusef was carrying a small briefcase and he wore a pair of tinted sunglasses.
"So I will assume you know why we are here today, am I correct?" Yusef said.
