I would read the lore thread about the fae before dabbling with them too much, they aren't the same fae from our myths. They don't have corporeal bodies and don't reproduce with humans. They are basically transdimentional creatures made of energy.

  • Modern samurai armour (a gold-titanium alloy that is bullet resistant against most firearms below .50 cal and up).
  • Fae Infused odachi (minor boosts to physical strength; easily slices through rock, concrete, kevlar, and people; sword swings too fast for the human eye).

Drawbacks & Limitations:
  • Max zone range of 300 metres.
  • Extending the zone's range lowers accuracy.
  • Zone only useful for combat within 5 to 30 metres (accurate enough to detect individual enemy hairs).
  • Weaker armour near joints.
  • Difficulty dodging firearms.

Weaknesses:
  • Greatly reduced combat ability without equipment or sword.
  • Slow traverse speed in armour (can only do a light jog).
  • Bad in hand-to-hand combat.
  • Zero immunity to noxious gasses or poisons.
  • Armour and sword conduct electricity and struggle in muddy or sandy environments.

Personality: Silent, stoic, humourless, honourable, despises those who break promises, appreciates a good book, likes small animals. Most problems can be solved by cutting them.

Bio: Born and raised learning the way of the sword, his parents owned a popular chain of kendo schools in Japan. Unfortunately, Ken was born with a frail and weak body, which his great swordsmanship could never overcome. His parents, disgusted at his inability to succeed the company began tortuously experimenting on him until eventually triggering his latent powers. 6 years later he escaped, stealing the family's ancestral sword in the process. With no choice but to trust the powerful interdimensional fae that resided within. Knowing that his family would search for him, Ken vanished overseas. He now works as a wandering mercenary, donning his trademark samurai-inspired suit of armour, far too heavy for a normal person to wear. Trying his best to fight his blade's corruption.

A spandex one-piece body suit of seafoam green with thin black gloves and hi-top black running shoes.


Powers: Charisma. Low Light Vision Personal Telekinetic Energy/Matter Force Field capable of stopping bullets and reducing the effects of energy attacks, with a seafoam green colored glow. Shadow (Telekinetic) Limb Extension out to 10 meters of arms/hands and legs/feet, with a seafoam green colored glow, Telekintic Running Speed of 60 miles per hour with seafoam green legs of light, Telekinetic Strength able to lift/push 500 pounds with arms/hands of seafoam green light, Telekinetic Punch/Kick of 5,000 newtons (like a boxer's most powerful punch) with a seafoam green colored fist/foot of light.

Drawbacks & Limitations: Cannot maintain powers for more than one hour. Requires twice as much time to recharge power (example: use power for five minutes and need ten minutes of rest).

Weaknesses: Fast Metabolism (powers burn lots of calories) may starve faster than a normal human.

Equipment and weapons: Backpack, is capable of using most modern technology, but generally does not carry much.

Personality: A Prince, one who strives to do right and leads by example, who wouldn't ask anyone to do something he wouldn't, firm but compassionate and who people hate to disappoint.

Bio: Jim Long was a seventh son and an American Lawyer, sent to the United Kingdom to help smooth over import and export legalities. One day, in Northern Ireland, working on a whiskey contract, he was love-struck at the sight of a young, red haired Irish woman. Her name was Maire and she found the American both interesting and pleasantly charming.

Jim emigrated to the emerald isle and, in the space of a year, the couple were married. They made their home in Bushmills, not far from The Giants Causeway. Over time, they had nine children. First a pair of twin boys, then a pair of twin girls, followed by five single births of boys.

The seventh boy they named Thomas. As he grew, Tom developed a passionate but even temperament. No one ever faulted him for not trying his best, either in the classroom or on the sports field. Everyone imagined a bright future for Tom.

What no one imagined was that shortly after his thirteenth birthday that Tom would manifest unearthly powers. It first happened that Tom was playing goalie and went to try and catch a ball that was just beyond his reach. Seafoam green light extended from his hands and grabbed the football. His mates were amazed and happy for him. They didn't doubt he'd be a superhero one day.

Over time, Tom learned more about his power and the changes it caused in his metabolism. When he turned eighteen, he went to the superhero Academy and also studied law.

Upon graduation, Tom agreed to be "on call" for superhero duty, but has also chosen to pursue a legal career

Powers:

Temperature Control : Kelvin has the ability to gradually make things much hotter or much colder ranging from -150C to 1500C (the temperature at which glass melts), within 10 meters of his body.

Custodian Suit: A powered suit running off thermal energy that Kelvin generates. It is designed to protect Kelvin and assist in controlling his powers, the suit has temperature sensors, it is heat and cold resistant, and in some cases protects him from his own powers. The suit itself is bullet-proof, provides Kelvin superhuman strength through its servo-motors.

Drawbacks & Limitations:

Gradual Power : The time it takes to go his full range of -150C to 1500C takes about 5 mins or 330C/min.

High Metabolism : Kelvin has to eat much more than any ordinary person to be able to live and function. Especially in cases when he has used his powers frequently. He will spend lots of time sneaking and “carb-loading” before and after he uses his powers.

Weaknesses:

Still Human : Without the Aegis Suit Kelvin is very vulnerable. Furthermore, he is affected by his own powers, he does not get any immunity from extreme temperatures by himself, the Aegis Suit protects him.

Pacifist: Kelvin will refuse to cause any physical harm to a individual, however he still believes in justice, and wishes to protect humanity from evil-doers. He will resort to pasifying and containing others without inflicting too much physical harm.

BACKGROUND


Nationality: Icelandic
Hometown: Reykjavik

Personality: Stoic,Patient, Kind, Stubborn, Brooding

Bio: Erik was born in the outskirts of Reykjavik to a small seemingly normal family, living with his Parents and his older sister. His father was a cod fisherman while his mother was a co-owner of a restaurant in downtown Reykjavik. Erik had a nice stable life, doing well at school and often going on fishing trips with his father. From an early age Erik was quite large, but never “took advantage” of his size. He was the child who always tried to defuse the situation, or the one who would end up being beaten up if a peaceful solution wasn’t found. While this infuriated his father at times, Erik’s parents were proud to have a sweet little boy who only wanted for everyone to get along.

Erik found his best friend Karl in elementary school, the other kids avoided him because he was gifted. But Erik’s protective nature and his kindness compelled him to help Karl, and they became very close friends. Karl was the smarter of the two, and Erik remembers countless times Karl helped him get through school and learn all sorts of new things. Although Erik never did learn what Karl’s potential powers were, but it never bothered him, he would still be his friend.

Erik always wanted to help those in need, so he became a helicopter pilot for the Icelandic Coast Guard at the age of 21. He made many flights, and managed to keep his powers hidden for over six years. However one fateful flight changed Erik’s life forever. It was in the middle of winter, and they got a call of a man overboard in the sea. Erik took the helicopter to the scene and saw an upside down vessel in the water, a small fishing trawler. Erik recognized the ship, and his fears were proven true as he saw his father being tossed by the waves. Erik jumped in despite his co-pilot's insistence that he stays, and dove into the ice cold waters. Erik found himself drenched in sea water, and cold to the bone, as he opened the cabin door to the ship. He found himself in a smoky waterlogged room, with electrical fires sparking in the lower deck, some sort of chaotic mess of ice and fire. Erik saw his father, unconscious on the floor, and saw the flames from below threatening to burn everything. Erik never really knew why he reached out to the flames, but when he did he seemed to will the heat away. It went from a roaring blaze to a smoking coals, and he dragged his father out of the ship, and managed to get him into the helicopter. His father was suffering from hypothermia, and no matter what they tired, they wouldn’t be able to save him before they reached land. Erik then tired to mimic what he did in the ship, but focusing on warming his father up. He managed to warm up his father, saving him. When they reached land many described it as a miracle, but those who were more familiar with Metahumans knew otherwise. Erik himself was confused with the events that occured and tried to make sense of things.

Karl had heard of what happened to Erik and called him, Karl was worried that Erik had become a Metahuman and needed help. When Erik came over, the two tried to figure out what happened and what it meant for Erik. The too soon figured out that Erik could indeed manipulate temperature, but he was inexperienced in controlling it and his powers could risk others. However, Karl had a solution. This is when Erik learned that Karl had special powers when it came to machines, a master engineer of sorts, and Karl used his powers to create something to help Erik control his own. After many days Karl eventually made the Custodian Suit, a way to protect Erik and help manage his powers. It would run with Karl’s own powers through a thermodynamic generator. When Karl unveiled the Custodian Suit he claimed that it would be both a way for Erik to control his powers, as well as become a superhero.

At first Erik was reluctant, but he soon took on his new role. He had a great purpose, and with his powers he could protect humanity. He took on the alias of Kelvin and took to the streets in order to serve justice. With the members of the Custodian Project in the shadows, watching and learning, unknown to the world.

Either way, he would be put on Argus' Metahuman registry. That would prevent him from working for the Coast Guard (metahumans are prohibited by law from working for any national government services like that in any capacity as per the St. Petersburg Accords). so that would need to be tweaked.

As for the Aegis suit, that would be tech too advanced for a non-builder type to make, so I doubt he would have access to that. He would need to meet a builder/tinker-type to have the suit seeing as he doesn't have the wealth or reputation to contract it. If you're set on this, I can possibly bend, but we'll need to discuss it.

Otherwise I really like this app.

All these "bulletproof" suits.

I wonder if people realize there sre different levels of pullet proof tye differ widly in strength abx build.
So apparently Cobalt has named me a Cyber terrorist, I honestly don't know to be Honored or offended.

Name:Marilyn Willow

When activated, part of her suit's rear wings open up to vent out heat energy as a mask appeared over her face. Most of the purple markings on her suit also turn orange, as a result of the heat from the suit's activation.


Powers:
-Lightning manipulation: Scraping away her previous strategy of 4 forms of using her electric manipulation, she now primarily uses martial arts in conjunction with her strikes. This means that if an enemy is struck by her, they will also receive an additional burst of electricity to their body. However, this form of fighting utilizing electricity generated from her own suit means that it can only be used for a maximum of 5 minutes before she needs to power up again, forcing her to rely back on the suit and her martial arts to fight.

Another method of manipulation that she uses is to simply just fire off the electricity in the form of lightning bolts.

Organically, she is able to take massive amounts of electricity coursing through her body thanks to her genetics, this is also further supported by her suit which takes the electricity and stores it for future use. In theory, it means that as long as a constant stream is hitting her she should be able to continue fighting. However, despite this the suit can be damaged due to excess electricity.

-Tinkerer, suit type: From her previous generator based specialization which allowed her to biologically implant a turbine into her back, her specialization soon turned over to powered suits which could operate independently. This meant that it had it's own independent self-replenishing energy source, although the prototype for this was ultimately unable to power itself without an assisted power source. The suit used by Marilyn is a similar prototype, albeit a more successful one as it was integrated and linked up with her body's generator.

-Willow blood: Due to her connections as a Willow, she does have hidden contacts to Triads which allows her to pass through most nations without any hassle should she need it, although this means that part of the Willow triad's hidden reserves and manpower are at her disposal

- X-5, engage!: When her generator and suits both enter overdrive, Marilyn's combat capabilities are heavily enhanced. With superior speed and striking power, this mode allows for her to down many enemies in one go, possibly allowing her to almost become a 1 woman army.

Drawbacks & Limitations:
-The suit can be destroyed and once destroyed, she will be out of action for a long time as she will need to produce another copy.

-The suit can ultimately be broken due to excessive electricity which can backfire against herself, resulting possibly in the electric overload causing her death.

-Despite having 4 years to continually build upon and improve her generator, the generator is still capped at 5 minutes maximum outburst although the intensity is higher than when she was in the academy.

-Overdrive can only be triggered for roughly 1 minute max before she needs to disengage to let it vent and recharge.
Weaknesses:
-Due to the way her suit was designed, an EMP would be able to knock the entire system out and force her out of it, making her slightly weaker in most factors. When out of her suit she'll be much more vulnerable but still able to conduct, an albeit lesser, amount of electricity.

-Using electricity in water may backfire and shock all, even after 4 years she still can't control the lightning and its direction. She may even end up shocking herself.

-She is slightly hotheaded and quick to take action sometimes, which may give others the upperhand.

Equipment and weapons:
-Prototype X-5: The suit she currently utilizes both off duty and during combat, the prototype itself is built upon 4 years worth of intensive research with assistance from the academy. X-1 to X-4 were mainly chassis based prototypes so this one could be considered as the first suit type prototype. Armed with an adapter for her built in engine, the limbs have all been heavily reinforced while her chest area is likewise armored against heavier strikes. Despite this additional armor, it is still somewhat light to her owing to the generator to some degree supporting the entire suit.



BACKGROUND


Nationality: Chinese
Hometown: Shanghai

Personality: Silent and brooding, Marilyn after 4 years and many years of training still has kept at heart her old morals. She spends most of her time when off duty training and refining her suit based prototypes. She is widely regarded as a sort of 'lone wolf' hero, operating usually alone and gone in a flash once the dust settles. She is usually not used to working in teams with others, although in such cases she usually operates independently in the end, just with more specific orders.

Bio: Born as a child of the rich 'Willow' triad, Marilyn from a young age lived in a sort of pampered life. Sitting upon piles and piles of blood money that her family had from their days as a major triad before they went underground after the Chinese government launched a campaign to clear them out of the nation. This had resulted in most of the triad's downfall, although the Willow family stood strong with contacts from America all the way to Sicily and even deep in Russia. From a young age she had shown that she was a child prodigy. She had a deep curiosity and later understanding of and for generators, primarily the way they produced energy.

By the time she was 16, she had produced a generator which could produce large amounts of electricity albeit only within a short span of time with a long recharge period. It lay unused in her laboratory for a long time. When she was spotted by the academy for her hidden ability in manipulating lightning, she opted to have a special request before she entered. She had the generator installed into her back which allowed for her to conduct larger amounts of electricity on top of her natural abilities but also gave her a sporadic source of energy to manipulate electricity.

Entering the academy, she would spend the next 4 years researching and creating better prototypes, eventually creating experimental prototypes of what is now known as the 'God's series'. The years she spent studying the powers of her fellow heroes-in-training, eventually picking up and creating some weapons based off of them. Some included gauntlets which could manipulate fire, a blade which upon impact could cause frostbite and eventually a radio set which could interfere with snakes and place them under direct control. However, due to limitations and eventually some minor intervention she was forced to scrap all these projects. She still does have a few blueprints relating to these prototypes and has repurposed the gauntlets, meant to be heavily reinforced in order to provide striking power and heat resistance, as part of her suit.

By the time she graduated, she joined ARGUS officially as a sanctioned hero, although she operated independently within the limits. In the years she had operated, she eventually began to specialize in suits, and after many operations in the field and research she produced prototype suit X-5. To date, she travels around the world aboard a VTOL, deploying wherever she is needed as she operates under the same alias years ago, Aegis. The shield of the gods, now the shield of the people.

So yea, i'll go ahead and expand on the WIDOW suits ballistic protection.


The limbs and other none vitals areas are on par with NIJ TYPE IIA, through a combination of soft meshing and reinforcement. A liner of different carbon meshing (imitating silk in tensile strength and density) adds added Stab/slicing protection.

The torso, both front and back, are on par with TYPE IIIA soft vest, though a combination of soft meshing and reinforcement. The Same liner (though thicker in built, still imitating dense silk in Tensile strength and Density) is applied on the inside of the torso section as well.

Now here is were it gets Interesting.

There are two sections of Hard plate in the torso sections roughly on par with standard NIJ TYPE III Hard plate, through a combination of meshing and a scaled system of Metal and ceramic discs. Just large enough to cover the Heart and Lungs. The second sections is placed in the back and covers an area slightly wider then the spine, and spaced out a bit more to allow a full range of Movement. This combined with the As already present Imitation Silk lining adds just a bit more protection to these areas, against both ballistics and melee weapons.


Her helmet is similarly armored to TYPE III specifications, its rigid nature allowing it to be mostly built out of Titanium Alloys, allowing it to suffer considerable impacts. In practice this mean the helmet is able to protect its user against intermediate rifle rounds, though full size 7mm Armor piercing rounds (Springfield .30-06, for example) will damage it heavily and render its internal's mostly damaged beyond operation.

Powers: Darkness Manipulation: Filia Umbrarum can take nearby shadows and manipulate them to her will. Able to create physical constructs out of them. These constructs can be very sharp and malleable but are also brittle and can be shattered by the force of a bullet or other heavy weapon. She can also heal wounds and injuries in shadows and dark places.

Umbrageous Teleportation: Filia Umbrarum can enter shadow patches and exit other nearby shadow patches.

Drawbacks & Limitations: Her shadow constructs are very brittle and can only reach the size of ten feet. She can only teleport through shadows at a half-mile range or or 805 meters.

Weaknesses: Sunlight Aversion:The biggest drawback of her powers is extreme sensitivity to extreme light. Thus, she is weak against light magic, and light weaponry. Filia also must avoid direct sunlight, prone to terrible burns in the burning sun.

Equipment and weapons: Keeps a parasol on her person at all times during the day to keep her from sunlight, has countless tools for the art of theft including lock-picks and a grappling gun, and drives a black Volkswagen by day, drives a motorcycle by night. Her cat suit also protects her from sunlight and keeps it on her person most of her time.

Hometown: New York City

Personality: Filia Umbrarum is, during the day, a sweet, kind, lovable and nerdish young woman who loves helping people and making friends. However, at night, she's also a kleptomaniac who loves to steal from others simply for sport and fun.Though she does have a Code of Honor, choosing to never kill without cause or exploit those less fortunate than herself. That doesn't stop her from stealing from other villains or heros though, seeing that as a bonus from foiling truly evil plans, and aiding allies.

Bio: A young lady, born into a wealthy family in New York City, Fiia Umbrarum lived a happy life, though she lived in seclusion away from sunlight. A trait that has been in her family for generations as they all inherited an unspeakable power over darkness. Filia's such powers developed quickly from a young age, and even more so during puberty. With these powers, she had inspirations to becoming a hero and joined the William Nantz during after graduating from private school. However, her constant trouble making, with an addiction to stealing, that has gotten her in jail in the past, lead to expulsion. Such a drawback didn't keep her from gaining success in life as she grew in ambition. Filia inherited her family’s company and became a powerful businesswoman. Yet, in the meantime, the young lady turned criminal thief out of kleptomaniac sport, taking on the alternate identity as Lady Tenebrous. With her cunning and skill, Filia has outwitted heroes and rival villains alike over the years. Despite her villain streak, though, she still tries to fulfill her inspiration to becoming a hero, following a certain code of honor, stealing only from those who could afford it, and especially those who deserved it. All the while, the thief have fought and taken down truly evil villains, even teaming up with an occasional hero. More over, Filia, occasionally sought to put her stolen goods to “good” use for the what she believes, and sometimes have proven to be, for the betterment of mankind.

Skills: Extremely skilled theif, having the capacity to blend in with the shadows, slip into tight spaces, avoid detection from guards, and escape without leaving behind any evidence. Filia Umbrarum can pickpocket and pick locks as easy as pie. Talented with tech, capable of hacking into almost any computer.

She can also speak many languages including, but not limited to Spanish, Arabic, french, Italian, German, Russian, Welsh, Chinese, Japanese and Korean

Name: Finnbar O'Setanta
Alias: Wolfhound

5'6", fairly athletic and strong. Light skin with reddish brown curly hair, cut moderately short. Facial hair is an even darker reddish brown along the chin, and upper lip, in an unconnected goatee. He has freckles around his face, pretty much just all over. Greyish blue eyes. Series of tattoos as well in more geometric and abstract styles.

Finnbar while involved in superheroing doesn't much bother trying to dress up or hide his identity. Most people he knows know how to defend themselves, and increasing technology would make such attempts futile.

While transformed his appearance is highly variable. The main constant is clawed hands, extreme muscles, contorted body shape, spiked hair, and visual deformities. No one likes seeing him in this state, as it can be outright nauseous to look at.


Powers: -Metamorphic Berserker, "Warp Spasm/Riastrad": When overtaken by battle-rage and bloodlust, Finnbar's body undergoes a radical transformation. He seems to almost turn inside out, and become an fearsome and exaggerated caricature of a human. This is never consistent in look, but usually involves his hair standing on end and extreme muscle growth. This gives him superhuman speed, stamina and strength, but he loses all control of his mental state until the transformation wears off. His body also heats up during this due to the extreme amount of energy being output, leaving him almost burning to the touch of other people.
-Super Strength/Speed/Stamina: While the full extent of these only exhibit themselves during his transformation, he has a level of each at all times. When normal it is more naturally 'peak human' performance than superhuman.
-Regenerative Healing: Bodily tissues(skin, bone, muscle, etc) mend much faster than human average. Surface injury can heal in seconds, deep wounds half-hours to hours, extreme wounds in days. When in a rage, this is amped up even further, meaning most wounds will heal before he reverts. Destroyed body parts can be regenerated with enough time.
-Durability: More durable than the average person. This goes along with the healing to mean its hard to kill Finnbar through normal means.

Drawbacks & Limitations:-Metamorphic Berserker, "Warp Spasm/Riastrad": Utter lack of control. This manifests when he grows angry or badly injured. It lasts ten minutes at maximum, at which point he reverts to normal and more than likely passes out due to expended energy. The toil on his body can also put him out of action for a while, wearing out his healing ability and general strength. He usually gets extremely hungry after, once he wakes up, needing to replenish lost energy and body mass. His current record is eating half his body weight after a transformation.
-Super Strength/Speed/Stamina: Transformed- 75-80 MPH speed, Hulk-like strength(around 10-20 tons depending on how severe of a rage) and stamina. Normal- 25-30 mph sprint(rapidly tires self out at max speed). Enhanced strength and stamina, but 'peak human' rather than superhuman. Stamina trade off for speed like all humans, given the species are naturally endurance runners.
-Regenerative Healing: Anything destroying his heart will kill him. Can't get away from purely human limitations such as death. Severed limbs can heal, but will require being reattached before necrotic. This is also still extremely painful.
-Durability: This doesn't stop things meant to be destructive. Anti-armor, anti-personnel, explosive, such things will still shred his tissue, even if it does less overall damage.

Weaknesses: Numb to pain means numb to fear from pain. He'll continue fighting long beyond when a rational person would call it quits. Battle rage also leaves him rather dumb, meaning he'll essentially simply attack and destroy without regard for friend or foe. He can still be killed, and is by no means immortal from his extreme durability. His transformation can be reversed by getting him to hold still for at least a minute, or literally cooling him off in enough frigid water to vent the heat. Extreme wounds can force a reversal to his transformation as well, as his body prioritizes survival.

Equipment and weapons: Finnbar usually wears fairly basic clothing, but has taken up some basic ballistic body armor since his days working for criminal pursuits and before the full manifestation of his powers. He usually carries around at least two semi-automatic handguns, a knife, and an extendable baton. He usually carries around a basic slingshot too, though that's more to pester people. Usually carries around a basic lockpicking set and a phone.




BACKGROUND


Nationality: Irish
Hometown: Dundalk, Co. Louth

Personality: A passionate person by nature with a love of music and dance, Finnbar enjoys revelry and parties quite extensively. He loves humor, even if his own can be hit-or-miss. Rather average in smarts, devout in belief, he believes in the good of humanity as a whole. He doesn't put much stock in high fashion, preferring comfort to style. He has an eclectic sense of right and wrong, partially due to criminal background and his family and his own ideals. He's a bit of a history enthusiast, and enjoys pranking friends with small annoyances or harmless jokes.

Bio: Finnbar was born just south of the border between the Republic of Ireland and the North, near the city of Dundalk. His childhood was mostly defined by his family's ties to the local criminal underworld, leading him to late entry to school and being often suspended or expelled for fighting or stealing other's things. His family wasn't too happy with this either, if only because they preferred going after targets they perceived as 'deserving it' such as a rich businessman or banks or industry mogul. Not only was it a better payday, but it brought money into their area rather than only passed money around.

He and his mother and part of the family would move to America, Chicago specifically, around his fifteenth year, seeking out a better job opportunity. His dad had recently passed, leaving them little reason to stay in Dundalk. He finished out his high school education there, and an abortive attempt at college in the american system left him pursuing a trade in metalworking instead, alongside jobs involved with his family's continued criminal connections. He did pretty well in metalworking.

His transformative powers wouldn't fully manifest until his early 20s, leaving him a very green and new hero. He had troubles with rage and anger throughout his childhood, but no full transformation. It didn't hurt that such toughness and strength had run in his family for as long as they'd been around, as far as they could track back in history. With the newer testing laws, though, it had been found most of his family, especially on his mother's side had mutant genes. Most of them hadn't manifested very strong abilities of any sort, mostly related to physicality and durability. Finnbar wouldn't find out the full scope of his abilities until he was an adult. When he was 25 a particularly aggravating day and a bodyguard job going south lead him to go through his first real Riastrad. The outcome was not pretty, but suffice it to say he ended up blacklisted from criminal work involving that organization and he learned just how much damage he could sustain without death.

A few weeks later he decided to flip his role. With his newfound power set, he figured he might as well try doing some good. He went out trying to be a vigilante, try his luck at that kind of work. It didn't hurt that he knew where to make the local criminals hurt. Though, he's not exactly legal for the job yet, or registered with anyone, that wouldn't stop Finnbar from putting pressure on local criminals to perhaps chose better targets at the very least.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


Fears/Phobias: He's a very superstitious man, and will go out of his way to avoid offending the supernatural. Cats, carrion birds. Not a phobia, but he's intensely distrustful of both and will avoid contact with felines and birds such as ravens.
Skills: Language- Irish Gaelic, English. Combat- Handguns, shotguns, knives, blunt weapons, some antiquated weapons such as swords and spears, slingshot. Etc- lockpicking, some basic history knowledge(esp in Ireland/Scotland), knowledge of criminal underworld, motorcycle and car driving, pickpocketing, basic thievery/misdirection. Metalworking, welding, smithing.

Other than that, the powers seem good, maybe a tad strong on the upper limits of the regen.

And just a small nitpick for the bio, since he was a mutant class, he would have known from birth that he was a mutant with the potential for powers, However, the blood test they administer can't give any insight into the nature of potential powers (or if they will ever manifest). so maybe just edit that part and make it more based around on the fact that He realized what his powers were, and not that he was a meta.

Note: This is another one of my Characters as OP meant to build the world and notify you of potential threats out there. This is MUCH more powerful than your player characters should be.

Argus Metahuman File

Name: Tyler Gibson
Alias: Judas
Age: 36

Typically wears only pants, revealing his severely tattooed body and glowing symbols representing his active powers.


Powers: The Seven Seals of Revelation
  • The 1st Seal: Conquest- Judas gains superhuman strength up to 30 tons, and moderate Super Durability. He Also gains some mental fortification. A white seal appears on the back of his right hand.
  • The 2nd Seal: War- Judas gains flight and super speed up to 200 mph while running, and upwards of 400 mph while flying. A burning red seal appears on the back of his left hand
  • The 3rd Seal: Famine- Judas gains the ability to absorb large amounts of electromagnetic, electric, and thermal energy. A deep-purple/black seal appears on his right forearm
  • The 4th Seal: Death- Judas can/must die once to activate, but it grants him the ability to drain the life of opponents to heal his wounds. A pale green seal appears on his left forearm
  • The Four Horsemen- having the first 4 seals unlocked increases Judas strength to 60 tons and increases his durability.
  • The 5th Seal: Cry of the Martyrs- Taking damage increases Judas strength, speed, and durability further. A blood-red seal with a white border appears on his right shoulder.
  • The 6th Seal: Wrath of the Lamb- Judas can command natural disasters from meteors to earthquakes and storms and volcanoes, etc. A yellow and white seal appears on his left shoulder.
  • The 7th Seal: The Wrath of God- Unkown. A golden seal appears on his chest.
    Unlocking a new seal heals all damage taken before unlocking it.

    In Addition to this, Judas seems to have a large resistance to subzero temperatures, and general discomfort.

Drawbacks & Limitations:
  • Seals can only be unlocked in sequential order. Most of the conditions for unlocking seals are normally fatal, and if it is not time for that seal to be unlocked, it will kill Judas
  • The price of blood- Judas must take a life to unlock the first seal, before that, he is human with no powers except some strange immunity to cold or discomfort
  • Spill the first drop- An enemy must cause Judas to bleed, internally or externally to unlock the second seal. It cannot be self-inflicted.
  • Break the Dam- Judas must be hit with a massive bolt of energy to unlock the third seal.
  • Lay Death in his Grave- Judas must be killed to unlock the 4th seal, but only after the 3rd has been unlocked.
  • Cull the Heretics- Judas must kill 100 innocent lives to unlock the fifth seal.
  • Eye of the Storm- Judas has to experience the force of a natural disaster to unlock the 6th seal.
  • Touch the Face of God- Unknown what must happen to unlock the 7th seal.
  • Judas can only keep the seals unlocked for 24 hours after the most recent seal at maximum.

Weaknesses: The seals must be unlocked in order, and prior to the first seal, he is as easy to kill as any human.

Equipment and weapons: Normally a knife.



BACKGROUND


Nationality: American
Hometown: Shelby, Montana

Personality: Charming in a somewhat off-putting way, but Judas is a natural demagogue, capable of seeming innocent and kind, but Tyler has a darker side. He sees himself as the next prophet of God, here to judge the unworthy. He seeks to test other metahumans, and prove he is the only one worthy. He seeks to save them from their sins, by ending their lives.

Bio: Mr. Gibson was born and raised in a small town in Minnesota with what he felt was a calling to become a pastor after his father. He actually saw his dream become a reality as he took his father's place in their small town church. Everything was great for a time. Tyler married an had a little girl and the Church grew in membership.

That all changed when a band of drifters blew into town. Several of them were metahumans, but all of them were trouble. After the townspeople lodged several complaints, the Sheriff and his small band of deputies ordered them to move on, but the confrontation quickly turned violent. As part of an Argus mandate, all local law enforcement agencies were equipped with power-dampening weapons, but due to the small size of the town, they were only given one rifle. That lone weapon set the metas off, and the law enforcement officers were quickly turned into a fine red mist. The band of metas ran the town for weeks, and Tyler turned to the only source of help he knew.

He prayed for deliverance, but the voice that spoke back to him from the void wasn't what Tyler was expecting. He tried to shake the whispers that filled his head, but they only became stronger. It offered him the power he sought, and eventually, it wore him down. He accepted, and it was like he saw the world through new eyes. Tyler walked up to one of the non-meta members of the gang, armed with nothing but a knife. He tried to talk them down, but they just told him to piss off. That did it. Tyler lost his temper and plunged the knife into the chest of the gang member, awakening the first seal.

In a matter of minutes, he seemingly effortlessly disposed of the gang, driving them out of town. He was hailed as a hero, but his family and congregation quickly noticed something had changed. His Messages became more extreme, even blasphemous, to the point where he was pulled aside and asked to step down. Tyler refused, and almost overnight, his congregation abandoned him. Enraged, Tyler flew into a fit of fury, destroying the inside of church. His Wife and Father tried to calm him down, but he felt betrayed by the last people he thought were on his side. Judas lashed out, hearing the whispers in his mind. What happened next became a blur, but when Judas came to, he was standing in the middle of a crater. The Church, the town, his congregation, his family, all gone. And he felt no remorse.
