In the northern parts of Europe can the small kingdom of Denmark be found, a nation that today is but a shade of its former self reduced to a mere puppet state of the mighty Russian empire. Once was Denmark the uncontested ruler of the entire Scandinavian Peninsula ruling Norway, Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Today are all those parts of the empire controlled by the hatred Swedish. It is god's will that all those territories will once more be under the red and white flag of Denmark but those are not the only parts of Denmark that is in hostile hands as in the south is Schleswig-Holstein under control of the German federation just as any parts of the empire must be brought back in under the Danish rule so is it the will of god that Schleswig-Holstein once more will fly the red and white banner.

ARMY
Standing army: 4 million
irregulars, foreigners, militia: 270 million

Line infantry

Regiments are the most common troopers in the royal army and are drafted from the massive city blocks in the city island of Copenhagen or the farmsteads on the smaller islands. The equipment are paid not by the state but rather by the neighbors and families of the new solders in the form of a onetime tax that are to be paid for collectively. As for tactics do the soldiers march to battle shoulder to shoulder armed as most modern states with linear muskets which due to their lack of accuracy forces the soldiers to fire as one at the enemies in volley after volley.
As for tactics so do the royal guardsmen often immediately charge the enemy often allowing them to get the first and even the second volley as they save their shoots of point blank range where they in theory cannot miss and then do they move in amongst the survivors with their powered bayonets ready to clear out those that survived the force of the linear rifles.

jægare

jægare are often huntsmen, veterans or soldiers that have distinguished themselves as extraordinary shoots and jægare are as a result the units with the highest accuracy rate in the entire Danish army. To utilize this the best are jægare often deployed in front of the army in the beginning of the battle where they can fire from cover or in lose formations towards high priority enemies such as artillery units, grenadiers and officers while the line infantry advance. However as the battle intensify so do the jægare withdraw to the flanks of the army where they continue to use their high accuracy to pick of special targets and harass the enemy lines.

Dragoons

From left to right: a dragoon, a horse and a dragoon officer
Only the riches blocks and families can afford to become parts of the dragoons as not only would a uniform and equipment need to be bought but also would you need to buy a horse, for that is what a dragoon is a mounted infantry man that uses his steed to quickly take important positions on the battlefields as bridges or fortified positions or when aid is needed by an isolated infantry regiment so are the dragoons the right men for the job. As a weapon so do the dragoons often carry a shorter linear carbine instead of a linear musket but they carry a powered sword and also a linear pistol instead of a mere bayonet to keep the enemy at bay.
What also makes dragoons a so important part of the Danish army is because they often thanks to their lighter carbines are able to fire from horseback to provide aid for the infantry bayonet charge and to pick of the enemy at their leisure when they retreat.

Hussar

From left to right: a Hussar
Hussars are an important all offensive unit in the Danish army which are made up almost entirely by noblemen and rich merchant sons as few families and their neighbors can afford the costly uniform and weapons that the hussars uses. When the Hussars go to battle so do they do so mounted on horseback as they charge their enemy with their powered swords to cut their way right through the enemy lines.

Den kongelige gardet

From left to right: a mounted guard officer and a infantry guardsman
The guard are the elite of the elite and are under the command of the most experienced officers carrying the finest equipment money can buy. As this do they serve as all parts of the royal army but are better than their standard brothers in arms and are as a result send in where the fighting will be as hardest and their expertise can be expected to carry the day home.
