Well we've all stocked up on bottled water and duck tape, so not sure what else you'd want us to do.

OOC: Seriously, it's an II thing the two places aren't connected so there's really nothing to do. I know I've been a nudge about it but... I really really suggest you read the stickys on both forums, because I'm fairly certain when the shooting starts things are going to get ugly for about 40 of those countries signed up.

I'd suggest we get in a second rate presenter, put them all on stage and call it a song contest. I heard of something called Eurovision once that worked almost exactly like a 60+ state war in just the same manner. The civilian casualties can be horrrendous though.

May I humbly suggest that the WA stock up on WD-40 as well?

It's BLOCK WAR!

Does the WA need to begin a military buildup bent towards a defensive posture?

Well, even though the two are really separate, there's nothing to prevent the stirring of the imagination.

Anyone interested in writing a "Doctors without borders" resolution? I mean in a war someone is likely to get hurt.

What about journalists? Nah forget journalists?

You know the difference between the world assembly and the league of nations? At least we understand we are powerless to prevent war.

The "Doctors Without Boundaries" is a good one. The journalist idea may not work as well. Some countries don't like journalists snooping around.

We already have the 'WorldVision Song Contest': The voting stage for its ninth incarnation is almost complete, and sign-ups for the tenth competition are currently open.

I say we go harder than that. I think a massed, all-out bombardment of leaflets and car bumper stickers will put them off.

The Philimbesi corporation "Ribbons-R-Us" has created the memorial ribbon for the cause, and is proud to announce that some of a quarter of a percent of the sales will go to the relief effort.

Further singers from all over Philimbesi have gotten together to record the single "We Are One Billionth Of The World!" Announcing that a music video of this hastily put together tribute to the nations about to lose their everything will be sold within hours. All proceeds to go to the relief effort (after agents fees, alimony litigation, bribes, and licensing).

So far it's not much of a war... just a bunch of nations turning in circles trying to figure out which end of the gun goes out.

the empire of badgerifica is also not a member of the WA and i believe that it is not your place to interfere with a war that doesn't involve any of your nations. You can try to get the sides to negotiate then leave them too it or just let them fight and see that war isnt always the option as they should be substantially weaker after. and who says that's definitely a bad thing?

Senator Sulla looks over with concern at the normally polite Nigel, from Philimbesi. THis is the first time the good but unwholseome seator could remember seeing the normally unflappable Nigel loose his cool. Quickly the senator srang into action, opening up his mini bar and rooting around until he found the object he was looking for. He pulled out a bottle of Wild Turkey(TM), and carried it over to the Philimbesi delegation, and placed it on Nigel's desk.

Nigel who normally would go for a bit of Lagavulin decided the Palentine wild turkey would do and certainly did fit his mood. After a shot or two, he cleared his throat.

The good but unwholesome Senator Sulla was soon joined in the Palentine delegation, by some Thessadorian Catgirls wearing sloganized T-shirts. Giving his fellow denizens of the festering snakepit a smile most unpleasent he said,

"My friends, we can can comercialize the war and make a handy profit for the WA General Fund. I had my staff come up with a few prototypes of T-Shirts we can sell as souveniers. They are being modeled by some lovely catgirls from Thessadoraia."

A tall red headed catgirls was wearing a shirt that read, The WA got involved in a war, and all I got was a lousy t-shirt.

A blond cagirl modeled a shirt that had a picture of the Thessadorian ambassador which read, Sod this War! I'd rather invade Thessadoria!

Finally a brunette catgirl wore a shirt which had a picture of sulla's secretary Velma from her Burlesque days. She was almost wearing patriotic garb, and the printing on the shirt read, Do your patriotic duty, boys!

We could have a humanitarian aid resolution to help the victims. I'm developing one here.
