Is The World Improving or Worsen?

I have been watching a movie called "Idiocracy". The main characters have been in hibernation experiment and when they wake up from their hibernation. The world become a dystopia where advertising, commercialism, and anti-intellectualism run wild. A question pop up "Does the world getting improve or getting worse?" That's the moment, I start to thinking and question does the world is the way I'm thinking it is or it's going to be?

Yes, the world is improving , and, in places in which it's not, we can always improve the world ourselves. The first improvement, I'd personally recommend makeing an improvement of grammar of the thread by changing the title of this thread to "Is The World Improving or Worsening?", and moving this thread to "General" if you want this thread to be about the real world, or, the world is fine if this thread is meant to focus on NS represented worlds.

My stance is that the world is actually getting worse. Humanity is simply a facet of the world that has been improving in certain ways since our recent and distant past. As of now, our actions are destroying the quality of life shared by all beings on the planet and this does include a significant portion of humanity which is likely to grow.

Based on that, I judge the world as becoming worse while humanity itself is somehow becoming more moral, wise, and aware.

Don't know and don't care. All I know is that Holland and Great Britain are getting worse, whilst China, America and Africa are getting better.
