5. Member countries will not force any of their inhabitants to work against their wishes after the Threshold of Retirement, except for:
• Compulsory military or alternative service;
• Work mandated as part of a criminal sentence;

"Criminal sentence" seems to be a better word than "correctional measure" in our opinion. I suppose things like "community service" and other unpaid work as a punishment is what a criminal sentence is.

You now has our support. Thank you for addressing our concerns.

Apparently Ms. Sarah Harper is still looking for a better word to describe "old-age care services". I was thinking "health and welfare programmes tailored for retired individuals". What do the ambassadors think? (we'll normalise the "individual" term afterwards).

We'd suggest senior citizens social services, or something along those lines.

My Forest supports this concept.

We would intend to set our “Threshold of Retirement” at one day of age. All of our programs for old age are privately owned and operated, and hence we assume Article 2 is not applicable due to not having any government social programs to speak of. In addition, the only forced work that our government would demand are already included as exceptions to Article 5.

At first we were concerned that this concept of "Reducing Compulsory Retirement" may ironically result in increasing compulsory retirement in our Forest. However upon further reading the paper we have determined this not to be a threat to our laissez faire culture.

Some nations might interpret "senior" as meaning "higher-status" rather than "elderly"...

In that case, why not write it such? Have it as "elderly social services"? That way, all cultures are happy

Faliksa Abertron, Sr Ambassador for Monikian WA Mission rose.

"We feel that this proposal is not necessary. Retirement, and its compulsory date should be left to individual nations to determine for themselves. In Monkiah for example the concept of retirement, and even unemployment simply does not exist. We consider males staying at home to raise their gardens and children the traditional way to be just as important as any female miner or manufacturing worker or for that matter politician. In fact males choosing to stay at home and raise children are provided by the state an income for doing so. Furthermore it is not uncommon for our elderly--approximately 110-150 years of age--both male and female to stay at home and help raise their grandchildren and great grandchildren with their sons and grandsons for which the state pays a small stipend in addition to their pension. Indeed having the elderly assist in child rearing helps some males seek active part time employment in the workforce."
