Renewable energy act

Postby Evonian » Wed Aug 18, 2010 4:41 am

Ok heres my idea. iam not sure if it interferes with any other proposals or not i did check and i am pretty sure it doesn't. iam thinking of proposing it so please any comments would help thanks.

Renewable energy act- (or should it be called renewable resource act?)
Recognizing that the world is to reliant on nonrenewable energy sources.

Concerned about what will happen when these nonrenewable resources run out.

Herby creates the renewable resources committee (RRC)

RRC will
1)Work to find cheap and easy ways to rely on renewable resources more than nonrenewable.
2)Work to make using nonrenewable resources not deadly to the environment.

This act describes renewable resource as a resources that a natural resource that can be constantly replaced at the rate of use (or higher). This act describes non renewable resource as a resource that is in a limited supply of which can’t be changed. This act describes Renewable energy as a form of energy using renewable resources to create it.

I think your going to run into an issue with formatting and with the fact that it does nothing but create a committee.

This act will prove to be insufficient and also ineffective.. there needs to be monitoring which will depend on the committee that resides over this issue. And based on the level of this committee this whole Act might sink!

But with the right guidance and determination I believe that this Act has a future :)

You might want to look up the defintions of renewable and nonrenewable. I know at least that nonrenewable is mis-defined. Roughly-a resourse that a person uses more of than is replaced in nature in their lifetime.

This draft has nothing for member states to ratify: it is not expected that a committee will do everything for member states. Also, there are going to be concerns that member states will be unable to replace all their non-renewable power plants immediately, and the fact that renewable energy may not always be reliable in certain climates.

Yours etc,
