A Short Guide to Unicompliance!
Likely not a huge discovery.. but if I didn't know it, someone else probably didn't..

Tired of complying to the same ol' fluffy shit? Do the gnomes got you down? Not smart enough to find a loophole? Okay, Okay, not intellectually advanced enough to find a loophole? Well comply no longer! I shall now explain how my nation's leading scientists developed a set of abs without any effort at all, while eating a strict diet of chocolate and hot dogs for several days! I mean.. I shall now explain how my nation's leading scientists developed a way to not comply to WA resolutions, without even breaking a sweat!

As we all know, my delegation has been known to be one of the most shrewdly irrational nations, with a long history of being both lazy and devious for the sake of being devious. Well now I have combined those two wholesome traits for good use. You no longer have to comply to anything! Yay!

No longer bother yourself with compliance, stick to the minimum, Unicompliance, and live free of environmental regulation, taxmen and anything passed by me!

How many Unibotians does it take to replace a lightbulb? Three. One to crucify themselves, one to ask God to do it for them and one to smash the bulb and "replace" it with an oversized pinata and a shower curtain.

We recently tested this method of non-compliance, I mean, Unicompliance.. yes, yes, I mean Unicompliance. Our nation moved at 4:20 GMT to the Rejected Realms, where the nations cease to exist at 4:09 GMT. Whereas our region, the Eastern Islands of Dharma does the same around 4:45 GMT. After exploiting this strange anomaly of time, I tricked the gnomes into not being able to find my nation. I'm not sure if this is exactly a new discovery, but it was my impression that many old timers actually took the effort to leave the WA and rejoin, so they could avoid a change in their nation... but in fact, all they need to do is leave their region for an hour or so to a region that features this unique event (OOC: An 'Update Time' caused by the server), earlier than their own region, and wait there till after it happens in your own home region before returning.

(OOC: Essentially, I'm moving the nation out a region that updates at 4:20, to a region that has already updated, and waiting there till the updates hits my region.. so my nation misses the update and I do not get sent a compliance telegram!)

If you wish to read more about noncompliance and compliance, there's an actually good thread on the subject! All I'm really doing here is shouting from the mountain tops about a cool trick... use it if you like.

Yours,
Eduard

This guide is actually a publication for the WA Compliance Committee in the Quadrimmina Parliament. Was this stolen from us?

Er... technically, aren't all WA nations required to comply with all WA resolutions--past, present, and future--regardless of getting said complaince telegram.

Eh, see also.. the nation I posted the first post with. In my case, missions are the only way I can join the WA.

But that is because compliance gnomes hold your application to the WA at ransom, if you don't comply, you can't join (but everyone is accepted, because you comply by joining). But if you never leave.. and you never comply.. well then, welcome to Unicompliance! It also has my name in it, so its infinitely better as a statwanking technique.

I wonder if "canvassing" times in one region are different from day to day? it might be that the RR is canvassed at 4:09 GMT on one day, while on a different day it might get canvassed at 4:12 GMT. Also, it is likely that delegates that attempt to try this may miss a half-day's of delegation as a result.

Yours etc,

You'll miss an issue.

Updates fluctuate a bit between days, but not too much, three minutes (either way) is about the limit of fluctuation, however, I'd say there is a bigger fluctuation between Major/Minor updates because the Major is obviously 'doing' more. Its not a risk for us though, because all we have to do is wait for the 'cease to exist's to emerge on the RR's regional happenings, before entering. Its much more of a challenge for gameplayers, who need to enter into the region, thirty seconds before the update.

Hm, this is interesting. We're usually able to come up with a creative legal interpretation of WA resolutions, but this would be a good way for people worried about their stats to get around stat changes.

Okay:

Does the update for RR always happen first, before all other regions?
