This delegation has a few problems with this proposal.

Firstly, what "scientific studies"? My government has forwarded to me their disappointment that they were made unaware of any scientific study made in Sanctaria. While it's not a requirement, it is polite. We also have a problem with the addition of "average aged student". What is an average aged student. In Sanctaria, for example, a person of any age can go back to school, be it primary, secondary or tertiary education.

Secondly, it must be noted that some national education systems may have a completely different grading system than the one mentioned in the proposal. While Sanctaria does use the A-NG scale for grading, some countries may not. This would also need to be addressed.

Thirdly, your proposal seems to go outside it's boundaries slightly with the following: "including giving a fair wage to the teachers, janitors, and administrators running the school." We here in the Sanctarian delegation fail to understand how the giving of fair wages fall under the catagory of Education and Science, and more specifically, under the area of "Artistic".

Fourthly, the acronym WAEC is already in use and also, personally, this Ambassador is against the creation of another Committee designed solely to dish out funding. We feel this could be more streamlined by using the WA General Fund.

Due to these reasons, the Sanctarian delegation cannot support this proposal.

Scientific studies have successfuly shown that an increase in Fine Arts funding (Music, Drama, Art, and Band) improves the grades of the average student in any School that offer classes in Social Studies, Language Arts (Spelling), Foreign Language, Mathematics, etc. Fine Arts classes also improve the manners of a average aged student by teaching them that they must take care of something that is not theirs.

Um... support? This sounds like a load of BS to me.

RECOGNIZING that a school that does not have these classes avalible DECREASES the chance of the average student getting into a University or other advanced schools.

Again, I see no support for this claim... What if a child wants to go to an engineering school? Is not having Fine Arts going to hurt them there.

If school funding for Fine Arts does not increase, then schools will have less and less Straight A students which will decrease the amount of people getting a good education, affecting their future success.

Again, no support and this clause is very redundant.

Therefore be it Resolved That,

The World Assembly Education Committee (WAEC) be established to increase funding for the average school and fund each School District and its curriculum, including giving a fair wage to the teachers, janitors, and administrators running the school.

What the f*ck does this have to do with fine arts?

Also recognizing that Fine Arts should be added to School Districts which do not have Fine Arts in their curriculum, supported with significant funding for paintbrushes, paint, musical instuments, sheets of music, books on acting, and teachers.

The red part is somewhat of a loophole.

Also providing constuction workers to build any extra rooms needed and giving them the materials and wages as required.

Um... okay. This is assuming that school just can't hire them with the funds you give to them.

Hearby establishing the WAEC and increasing the amount of funding in Fine Arts.

Again, redundant and un-needed.

Overall, I am not in favor of this legislation because I feel it is largely unecessary and because of the loophole, schools could exploit WA funding.
