RECOGNIZING that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights,

NOTING that each individual has his personal freedoms and right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness,

CONDEMNING all kinds of discrimination or segregation of a group, on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, religious or political views or sexual orientation,

ABOLISHING slavery or any other form of disrespect towards basic human rights and civil liberties of each individual,

ACKNOWLEDGING everyone's right of free movement, which cannot be limited in any cicrcumstances, except in case of state of emergency (curfew) or legal detention (imprisonment),

GRANTING each person's right not to be subjected to cruel and/or unusual punishment,

CREATES "World charter of human rights", document which defends basic rights and liberties of a free individual and URGES all WA members to implement it.

(still a proposal, please approve it! :D)

I would recommend checking out the passed resolutions - specifically Charter of Civil Rights.

The content of this proposal is duplication.

Approve it? Didn't we already do that once, when it was called the Charter of Civil Rights?
Everything you know about me is wrong. Or a rumor. Something like that.

NOTING that each individual has his personal freedoms and right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness...

...ABOLISHING slavery or any other form of disrespect towards basic human rights and civil liberties of each individual...

...GRANTING each person's right not to be subjected to cruel and/or unusual punishment,

Also, the honoured ambassador form Charlotte Ryberg notes that a ban on slavery, the freedom of expression and the ban on torture have been covered by past resolutions. But that's not to say that a better version of the CoCR can't be created.

However, that's unlikely to be ruled legal without a repeal of CoCR ... And getting such a repeal to pass would, I think, be doubtful.

I already know, and it is obvious that a repeal would be required, honoured ambassador. ;)
