Once the volunteer work is done we all sit in a circle around a campfire signing kumbaya and roasting organic marshmallows on hand-carved free range skewers.

Now, please explain how this "Helpful Friday" thing is an international issue? Or even a national issue? This is something which is best left to communities. We do not require the WA to hold our hands on this and mandate volunteer work.

Do you even know what an "international issue" is? It is something of significant international importance. What it is not is something which one nation tries to foist off as "well, it can become an international issue if we all do this!". again,

I'm pretty certain when you started out as a newbie, you were just as bad. I know when I started out I had some pretty bad ideas for resolutions.Grays Harbor wrote:It is a bad idea for a WA proposal. I believe he is suffering from over-exposure to stupidity, from all the ridiculous proposals he has been reading through. I think what he means to say is, you need to focus your energy on something more pertinent to the international community.

Of course I would, because the all-pretentious and all-arrogant Greys Harbour is "never" wrong.Grays Harbor wrote:Then you would be wrong.

Strangely enough, that would be my expirience. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say he knows when to pick his battles.
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt... At least that's what my wife keeps trying to tell me.
