(OOC: You can. First, if the author still exists, you must get their permission. Then, you must edit it so that it's not just a carbon-copy. Add something new and different; we probably don't want to vote on the same exact thing.)

It isn't a good idea to re-propose a carbon copy of an historical resolution, because attitudes towards the style of resolution writing have changed since the end of the NSUN. Some historical resolutions have been controversial and even disgusting (such as Max Barry Day): those are the ones you should give it a miss.

You could use a historic resolution for inspiration and incorporate the core principles and values into your own contemporary one. :)
