I am going to have to say this proposal is rather silly and possibly ridiculous. For one thing there can never be a pure happiness. Another thing Happiness all the time is just to creepy hence the many videos made on "happy cities" the one I can say of the top of my head is a fairly odd parents episode and dima dome acres. This proposal is strongly idealistic and never be achieved. And finally I believe this will easily be broken once put in effect as it mostly goes against human nature, I feel, because a human cannot express one emotion all the time.
Please pardon my atrocious spelling as I am a terrible speller most of the time...

I am extremely happy....not endorsing this resolution on mandatory happiness. What's all the hate about? Frowning people are people too, miserable people, but still people. Maybe if we lessen the punishment for unhappiness from death to...I don't know...a free lollipop or a free sticker, i might support it.

Is the author of this concerned about this proposal or just amused we're all responding to it?

Place a clause in this legislation that bans complaining and I will not have any complaints. :P

Strongly disagree's with this proposal as it would dictate how citizens must feel which greatly, and I mean greatly, takes away from their personal freedom.

The delegation, just having arrived from the SC chambers, glanced at the piece of legislation.

'Indeed. And who, exactly is going to terminate those who are unhappy? Furthermore, who is going to pay for those who are unhappy. Excuse me if I am mistaken, but the WA is not allowed to directly take taxes from member states so a state-funded operation to terminate the unhappy would be impossible. With that in mind, where are is the WA going to recieve the funds? The Delegation notes it will not support this legsilation until financial means for the systematic killing of the unhappy is elaborated on.'

The ambassador sat down, at the same time taking a bite of his sandwhich.

'The Delegation from East Ying rests' His assistant said into the mic as they shuffled their papers and reviewed the proposal.

Or perhaps called off on an emergency diplomatic mission (OOC: vacation).

East Ying wrote:'Indeed. And who, exactly is going to terminate those who are unhappy? Furthermore, who is going to pay for those who are unhappy.

I don't think any payment is necessary, as they would be terminated by Friend Computer.

Excuse me if I am mistaken, but the WA is not allowed to directly take taxes from member states so a state-funded operation to terminate the unhappy would be impossible.

The WA can (and does) receive (not very) voluntary donations from member states. Besides, it is not considered a tax to mandate that states spend money.
