Felicia stares at the Applebania delegate blankly "Wait... What?!

"That's a first for me. I've never seen anybody make an attempt to stay sober at this bar. Never."

"I suspect the worst is over. The queues are clear, the only problem with some of the new members is over enthusiasm."
Having finished the martinis, she starts working on the unidentified blue thing.

"Repeal GAR#2 is still on the way. We don't have the same Secretariat protection from that shitstorm as before. As for the new guys...its C.D.S.P. ambassadorial policy, as laid down by my predecessor, Ambassador Dezzoram Sa'Diablo, to hate, without mercy, all new delegations until such time as they prove themselves, or cover our tab for the evening. Fortunately for you, Ms. Landsfree, you proved yourself competent rather quickly."

As the good, but tired, ambassador speaks, his steak is placed in front of him. Tucking in with vigor, Bell watches the Wrapperian stumble a bit as he enters out of the corner of his eye.

"Haven't seen somebody stumbling around here that bad since I introduced Stephanie over there to Asgarian ales with gold coins in them. I suspect we'll all be that way before long. I doubt you really think everything will be fine in the Snakepit with an array like that," he observed, watching the level of the blue stuff drop rapidly.

She gives a waving bow in appreciation and winks, "You're not so bad yourself."
"Well for what it's worth, GAR#2 in its current form is rather poorly written. Should it fall from the books, I dare say we could do better."

She turns in her seat back to the bar, "I know I shouldn't mix alcohols, but romulan ale. In the largest glass you may legally serve it in. And an umbrella."

"Yikes...that will do it I suppose. And the rum is always good. Especially after you numb your tongue on the first few rounds. Then anything tastes like good swill! Here," Bell hands her the now half empty bottle of mezcal. "Try this on for size. Its time I switch to something more my style."

Clover enters the strangers bar, looking around in wonder at the vast number of patrons within. "I've never seen anything this" she thought to herself. Wandering to the bar, she attempted to order Scotch, and was shocked at the wide selection they seemed to have. After some discussion, she found one to try, and began a tab, ignoring the bartenders grumbling about another one and lack of payment.

Walking along, hovering her drink, she found an empty table in the corner. She had just been given good news, regarding the resignation of a particularly toxic presence in the WA chambers, but the party would be difficult to find. Instead, she sipped her drink, and simply watched the people come and go.

Rotan tech support Melody Williams walks in and spots Felica slumped over the bar. Shaking her head, she tries to lift Felica up to carry her out "Tysh draca lyd-kenmc yna rayjo..."* she mutters before Felicia falls to the floor

"For the benefit of those asking about my choice of drink," The Applebanian delegate said, sipping his apple juice, "I'm actually not of the legal drinking age of Applebania, at only 136. Also, I don't want to get drunk and do something really stupid. My bodyguards would never let me out of their sight!"

He pauses.
"But I've already done something really stupid by coming here. Food for thought, I guess."

A PsychoCola van comes by the bar and drops off crates of purple psychoactive carbonated beverages. Ambassador Sia Hedishi enters and smokes marijuana while snorting cocaine. She orders a bottle of alcoholic PsychoCola while taking a hit of LSD. She notices the strange looks she's getting by the other ambassadors.

"This is how we do it in Haki... whoa... dude your face... where did it go?"

Sia proceeds to pet another ambassador's face.

"I mean, I've practically had to go back to filing expense reports in some months! It's a disgrace! How the hell they expect us to get anything done on-- ah, umm, hell, what's your cheapest single malt? - perfect, two rocks? thanks! -- to get anything done at those kinds of sobriety levels is goddamn beyond me. So, trip away, darlin', you're hurting nobody."

Vin swirls his glass, and, nostrils flaring, takes a whiff of the whisky. Mumbling, "Eh, not too bad. You just gotta have standards." He takes a sip and turns back toward Ambassador Landfree.

"Madam Ambassador, I think it's possible you're being a little optimistic, maybe a little too charitable. I didn't see that Draican woman as comic relief - I thought she was s'posed to be a threat! You know, extortion! Like, 'Once you pass this repeal, I'm gone. Fail to pass it, and you'll hear my dulcet tones ringing down every hallway in the building until the day you resign,' something like that."

Vin takes another sip of his whisky. "Mmmm. Anyway, given how some of the other, uh, diplomats in that chamber have argued, that was the first thought that came to mind. Just hope I'm wrong."

He swirls his glass again and takes another sniff of its contents. And a sip. Not everything sucks in the universe when things can smell and taste like that.

Smiling at the other gathered ambassadors, she attempted to hide the embarrassment of being caught. "I like Mr. Williams myself, though a year in prison for killing 100 seems somehow light. That said, one does have to have psychopathic tenancies to willingly seek government positions..." she said, sipping her drink once again.
