Cool Egg Sandwich wrote:*Mr. Darke sauntered into the Strangers' Bar, feeling somewhat more comfortable than usual. He had already been smoking one of his special 'cigars,' and his mood was elevated as he sat down and ordered a whiskey. As was his custom, the Ambassador took long, dedicated hits of his 'cigar,' taking care to hold the fragrant smoke deep within his lungs. As he paid for his whiskey, Mr. Darke noticed a friend sitting against the wall on the other side of the tavern...*
"Well hello there, Mr. Heir. I hope everything is right and proper for you this evening. Can I interest you in one of my special 'cigars?'"
*With that, Mr. Darke withdrew his satchel, and after some laboring, produced one of his 'cigars'. Laying the skunky blunt on the adjacent barstool, the Ambassador eyed Mr. Heir devilishly, beckoning him to come and have a smoke.*

You can tell a lot about a man's intentions from his stare.

Nathan turns back to the creature and says “So, Mr. Kaoriki, what brings a nice feathered roo like you, to a place like this?”
"Just Kaoriki will be fine; our people find human honorifics a little awkward in translation," the creature replied, hop-stepping back towards its partner's table. As they approached, the black-feathered being gestured to the blond one and said, "Mepa, we have a guest. This is Nathan Detroit, the ambassador from that rather musical sounding delegation we spotted earlier, remember?"
The blond creature stood, and, brushing back the stiff-feathered frill on its head, said, "An honor. I'm Yasushipa Toruhayashipa, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Triune Republic of Jankenjin. I see you've already met my oki, er 'husband'." Gesturing to the large red-feathered creature occupying the other chair around the table, the creature added, "And this is Shigegu Nobunorigu, my megu, er, 'wife'."
The red creature nodded and said simply, "Pleased to meet you."

Steavens looked around. He saw some familiar faces, and others that were new to him, "Ah, the beauty of the WA, new members almost everyday." he chuckled. He walked to the back of pub and ordered a glass of ice water, "I'd perfer to stay sober today." he joked to the waitress.
Steavens leaned back in his chair and sighed, "This day couldn't be any better."

"And the fact that I come from a nation where you best friend may stab you while your asleep counts for nothing right?"
He asked the man calmly as he took another sip from his drink, awaiting his answer.

"But than there's all of the political nonsense that you have to deal with" he added as he walked along. He tucked his thumbs under his vest as he walked. Getting a weird feeling, he looked behind him to see a man in a black trench coat with a fedora on his head following the two of them. Even though it was pitch black outside, the man wore sunglasses. The obvious thing was glint coming off of the necklace that hung around his neck. The necklace had a pair of dogtags hanigng from it as well as a medallion of Lokemburg's emblem. Turning back around he shook his head with a smirk,
"And when you think your out of it. Your right back in..." He muttered, loud enough for only the veteran delegate to hear.

East Klent wrote:"Okay then. That was... eventful." Steavens muttered as he looked down upon the body. He had gotten used to not seeing people shot in front of him, after all, the Revolution was two whole years ago.
Steavens cleared his throat and turned to Thomas, "It would probably be best if we headed to the restaurant now, just incase anybody heard that." he suggested while picking up the still warm shell casings. He also ripped the necklace from the assassin's neck and took the blood-stained fedora off of him, all of which he made sure were buried deep in a nearby dumpster.
Dusting off his hands, Steavens was calm again, "Well, shall we?" he asked as he motioned towards the restaurant.

* Turning back to his isolated corner, Mr. Darke slowly caressed the rim of his glass with his fingertips, and considered having another 'cigar'. He ultimately decided against it, and resumed his perusal of the 'Hot Singles' ads in the daily paper.*
OOC: Could you please keep the RP bar-related? I'm not so sure this is the best place for you to RP, unless you are in the bar...
Thanks!
