The military officer gives Ahume a "that's bullshit and we both know it" kind of look before taking a sip from his drink.

(Ahume shrugs nervously. Why does he keep looking at me? Ari's the one making these silly statements.)

ARI: So, Erm, judging by your uniform, you and Miss Tevanyika were compatriots before the unification, yes? Perhaps you can--

AHUME: (interrupting) What about Gerald?

"Well, I don't know about any Gerald that you would know, but I suppose Ms. Trevanyika and I were acquaintances. In fact, I ran for the nomination so that I could secure her the deputy office. We were comrades in the national sense. I respect her as a diplomat, and I hope to continue much of her legacy from here onward. But if you are asking about a personal relationship, I'm afraid I don't know her that well."

Furettium walked around the bar through all the different people, goodbyes now over. New individuals with older ones still enjoying the bar as it has always seemed to be. He enjoyed his milk and watched it all pass by him, and it was quite the show, with all sorts of things that would probably make it some great play, better movie.

The West Wallenburgian officer enters the bar, sopping wet and even more irritable than usual.

Walking by the ambassador, "Better get used to that around here, know from experience." He smiled and walked off, pretty sure he could pass for unnoticeable if he didn't speak. Even then probably still unnoticed.

Hmm, if only Furretium was here. I need a talk and no one here is usually interested.

Alethea sighs.

"Well, for a happy ending. You don't appear so happy, what's wrong." Wandering around the bar taking a good look at everyone and everything he had come across Alethea more alone than all the other ambassadors enjoying their regular good times.

An odd feeling came across Pink. Something was whispering to him. One single word, that he hadn't a clue what it was referring to. PENULTIMATE. That one word. He shrugged it off and sipped his milk again.

[Wallenburg]

A rather senile old man enters the bar and whispers some things to Neville. Then he produces a large sign and hangs it over the main doors.

"Strangers' Bar Closed for Renovations".

Mikael frowns. "Well that's unfortunate. I hope it reopens soon! Well, thank you Ambassador, I'll be sure to speak with you further if I am appointed to office."

He exits the bar, along with his dripping wet opponent.
