Historic Day

Postby Costada » Wed Jun 16, 2010 7:42 am

Yesterday was truly a historic day in NationStates, for it was the day the 100th GA resolution was made into law. I say we make this a world holiday. Not out of law, but through ourselves. So let us commemorate June 15, 2010 as a historic day.

Perhaps not for all of NationStates, but definately for the WA. I support this idea.

Not to mention the fact that Ms. Harper had lobbied to let a new talent have the honour. I do appreciate the idea of a world holiday but it would have been metagaming as a resolution... but workable at least in roleplay. ;)

Hmm, there's still a few topics left to cover, honoured ambassador. Emptying the council of its resolutions would be detrimental to the community spirit of the GA.

Perhaps, but it would also have the appeal of being beneficial to economies of nations by getting rid of some of the over-regulation.

Sure why not although most of the honor and credit goes to the delegate from Charlotte Ryberg. I just came up with the idea and submitted it.

Our nation recommends that, for the mutual benefit, we repeal GA#1.

To be honest, we could have had a bookkeeping resolution that established the GA and SC last year. :o

It's because it is a fantastic milestone after the fall of the Bureaucracy That Must Not Be Named.

We would suggest the esteemed delegation re reads the 100 resolutions, they contain some of the most bureaucratic nonsense this delegation has ever come across, not something to be proud of but something that warrants immediate repeals.

Our delegation was, of course, referring to the august body that predates the World Assembly. That rhymes with Punited Pations.

We could repeal World Assembly Headquarters and replace it with guidelines for more extravagant offices and meeting chambers. Of course we would need to submit both at the same time.

Why? We find the WA office of our Delegation to be quite adequate, thank you:
