This thread is for posting all the silly or illegal proposals that enter the WA queue despite the best attempts of World Assembly regulars to educate them.

Several noteworthy comments:

• This is not a place to make up horrible proposals for giggles. We have enough of those occurring naturally.
• WA moderators regularly read this thread, to take advantage of the fact that WA regulars have more time to kill than they do.
• While WA posters' opinions should not be considered definitive rules judgments, neither should they be belittled.
• When making new law, anyone can be a lawyer. (But only WA Mods can be judges.)

Given that we may be starting with a clean slate, all ancient illegalities have been archived. Should "The World Assembly" resolution fail to pass, Neo-Anarchists' original thread will be returned to its former position of glory.

DEFINING "proselytism" as the act of attempting to convert any person from one religion or faith to another through any means,

1. Restricts the advertisment of any faith or faith related object through any means such as, but not limited to:
a. flyers or posters not on private property
b. speeches and rallies given unanounced that
are not on private property
c. advertisments on government funded
television or government funded radio
d. "pop-ups" that appear on the internet,

2. Reassures that on any privately owned property, television stations, radio stations and internet sites, proselytism is legal but does not encourage this if the recipient does not appreciate it,

3. States that no person under the age of maturity in his or her country of residence shall be penalized of proselytism but it is a criminal act to encourage in any way or means a person unde the age of maturtiy to engage in this act in an illegal manner,

4. Defines the maximum punishment for public proselytism is four weeks in jail but encourages this sentence to only be used in extreme cases of this criminal act,

5. Strongly urges all NationStates to adopt this resolution but declares it non-binding as many nations are theocracies or otherwise based on a certain religion.

Illegal for case 5 as resolutions that have passed ARE MANDATORY! But I may be readin it wrong.

International language

We propose:
1. A neutral, easy to learn lingua franca be adopted by the WA representatives of all nations so as to reduce the chance of unfortunate mistakes, and increase the profitability of all international dialogue.
• That this lingua franca be completely artificial, and thus politically neutral, so as not to favor one people or another by choosing an already existing language.
• That this lingua franca be used exclusively by the WA for official assemblies.

Description: As a nation, we need to have citizens that understand the economic, political, and social aspects of life. With an education, our citizens will has an easier time living.

This also helps the economy by lowering poverty rates and death rates since poverty leads to crimes and other ill-mannered activities.

I propose that:

a. we provide everyone with free education from kindergarten to college.
b. private institutions are outlawed. everyone will be equal whether they're rich or middle-class.
c. colleges will be limited to one field. there will only be one liberal arts college, one education college, one medical college, etc...
d. after the students graduate, their checks will have a 10% deduction for the next ten working years to help fund their country's educational system.

5. Further States the World Assembly reserves the right to withdraw troops from any area without a consensus when:

Description: If this resolution is passed, it will give any nation in the WA the right to install orbital defense/offense systems in earth’s orbit. Defensive systems can be used to take out enemy ships planes and missiles, while Offensive Systems can be used to take out ground targets. Though there is a list of rules to be followed in the use of such systems.

Orbital Offensive Systems

1. Orbital Offensive Systems can only be used after a nation has provoked the nation you lead (provoked being defined as being attacked by another nation)
2. One offensive satellite are to be permitted per nation
3. The only warheads permitted to be loaded on satellites are conventional warheads, any use of biological, radiological, chemical or nuclear warheads are not permitted.
4. Use of installing lasers on an Orbital Offensive Satellite is not permitted.

Orbital Defensive Systems

1. Ships can only be taken out by these systems if a military ship enters your nation. National waters without stating its intentions.
2. Two defensive satellites are permitted per nation.
3. Use of laser or Conventional missiles permitted to take out enemy missiles.
4. Use of only conventional missiles is permitted to take out enemy ships.

This resolution will go into act a day after it’s passed.

Resolutions, if passed ARE IMMEDIATE! and only 1 non-nuclear offensive sat is allowed? Wha? Also, not all WA nations are PMT or FT, where you can ACTUALLY HAVE Orbital Weapons Platforms. And to restrict Offensive OWPs and Defensive OWPs to non-nuclear/bio/chem is in my opinion stupid.

16) Decision-making power with respect to whether a deceased partner will be cremated or not and where to bury him or her;
17) Crime victims' recovery benefits;
18) Domestic violence protection orders.
